  ·         A program that you are using is not compatible with the Windows Aero color scheme. When you run a program that is not compatible with the Windows Aero color scheme, some Visual elements are automatically disabled. When the program is not is more running, the Visual elements that have been disabled will then automatically lit.

  ·         Your computer does not have to have enough memory to run all of the programs that you have open and also run the Windows Aero color scheme. Try closing some windows or changing your color scheme to Windows Vista Basic. If Windows automatically changed your game of colors in Windows Vista Basic, and you want to change it back to Windows Aero after closing some windows, follow these steps.

  I originally asked this question in the Community Forum of Windows, but it occurs to me that it could be related to VMware Tools and how they treat of Aero Windows 7, if I copy the thread here.

  So, I would like to run a windows on my MacBook Pro image for backward compatibility.  Here is the image I created.

  MBP OSX 11.8.2 with VMware Fusion 5.0.1

  Windows 7 SP1 64-bit 6.1.7601

  Office 2013 15.0.4420.1017 64-bit (Final)

  VMware Tools 9.2.1.818201

  From any application with active Aero, Office 2013 creates a white screen where you can see a few artifacts when you hover over them and you can close the application by clicking on the upper right (no doubt the 'X' would be expected normally).

  
  

  Disabling Aero product of the normal and of course desktop features, applications is as ugly as the new office.

  Given the direction that MS has taken on the reduction feature, I understand if the answer to my question is that MS wants that disable you Aero.  no doubt, so I'll get used to less features and be more willing to downgrade to Windows 8.  But the white screen appears like a bug.

  Have I not this wrong?  Is there a way to keep active Aero and always use Win7/Office15?

  On Excel and PowerPoint, I wriggle on the Find dialog box when I took the screenshot.
  
  What is potentially interesting, is when the application starts I see the splash screen and when he closes by selecting the hidden in the upper right corner X, I see an animation to minimize the screen.  It is very remarkable because you see the colors of the theme of the application, like Word blue, green for Excel, or red for PowerPoint.

  Your question about compatibility mode, I checked the Windows 7 App compatibility is not enabled for this application, and I do not remember having enabled for all applications in the image.  I've done was by viewing the application settings of the dialog box Word 2013 icon properties on the Compatibility tab.
  
  My laptop has a screen of 2880 x 1800, so I reduced the size of the images here.
  When running in full screen, rather than a window, the results are the same.

  My reasoning is that this feature seems to be only a problem for the virtualized image.

  So, I'm curious to know if others have seen problems with Aero in this configuration.

  Instead of disable 3d acceleration in vm settings have tried to disable hardware acceleration in individual office applications?   activate the acceleration on vm.

  "Adobe" is the name of the company that provides a great many different applications.

  Adobe Reader is free and allows you to view pdf files.

  Adobe Acrobat is expensive and allows you to create, edit and view pdf files.

  Assuming that you are referring to the reader, uninstall all the versions of it using the control panel > add or remove programs.  Then either

  1. go to http://get.adobe.com/reader/?promoid=BUIGO and download the current version (remember to uncheck the box to install McAfee Security Scan Plus.

  or

  2. go to http://www.foxitsoftware.com/Secure_PDF_Reader/ and download Foxit Reader, a small pdf reader and many more.

  Then, install the reader that you have downloaded.

• Windows 7 cannot see Raspberry Pi Samba Server

  I have two Windows 7 computers portable and a raspberry on my network Pi domestic.  The Raspberry Pi is configured as a Samba server.  Both portable Windows can see folders and each other, but only one of the portable displays the IP on the network.

  As far as I can see, both Windows 7 machines are configured identically.  On the machine that does not see the IP, I tried to disable the firewall, but that makes no difference.

  How can I study and fix this please?

  You try to access BIOS and change the SCSI to IDE in the BIOS or Raid in IDE and try to install Windows 7.

  If it fails, contact your SCSI manufacturer for the latest drivers for your SCSI and install it by clicking on load drivers and try to install Windows 7.

  My Satellite worked perfectly with windows 7 until a few days ago when the features of aero desktop, such as the taskbar thumbnails, turned off whenever I turned off my laptop.
