    HP supports the HP products.

Download the software/drivers appropriate for your version and architecture of Windows 7.

  • Windows 7 and HP DeskJet 895Cxi

I have a new laptop with Windows 7.

    I have a DeskJet 895Cxi printer.

Before I'm going to hit out of confusion I have some simple questions (!) for everyone out there.

Should I 32-bit or 64-bit of Windows 7? Or is it not important?

The driver is already part of the operating system or should I download it?

Driver version, you will need will depend on the version of Windows 7 you have *.  You can find it in start, Control Panel, system, system type (32 of 64) will be close to the Center, just below the amount of RAM.

For the Deskjet 895 the correct driver will be delivered via Windows Update as described on this page.  Turn on Windows Update as shown in the second method, then you can simply connect the printer and Windows automatically installs the correct driver.

  • After that my virus clean my printer does not work I have windows xp and my printer Deskjet F 300 said

After that a virus clean my printer HP Deskjet F 300 quit working they installed Windows XP from Windows 2000 and I can't make it work help

"they have installed?  You had somebody "clean" your computer and they have also installed Windows XP (you used to have Windows 2000)?

The first thing you need to do is to determine if 'they' a legitimate version of Windows XP installed.  Download and run the MGADiag tool.  If the tool does not report that Windows is "genuine", take back it the computer and demand that 'they' install an authentic version, paid Windows XP.  While they are at it, tell them to install a driver for your HP Deskjet F300.

If you do not have a genuine version of Windows XP, then go to this page: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=228&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=1128298
You have several choices to this page.

    • The top line, which only says: 'Pilot' is the complete set of software including software HP's Photosmart printer drivers and the scanner of your Deskjet.  As the HP notes, this is a very large download, so if you want this package, you must have a high-speed Internet connection or order the CD.
    • The second line, which says "Driver - Product Installation software" includes the basic print and scan drivers.  HP has said, "not all product features are supported with this installation package."  I don't know what "features" are not supported if you choose this option.
    • It should not necessary the "Patch" because or the other of the first two downloads is dated after the patch and so should be included.  After things are installed, you can download and install the most recent of the 3 "Updates".

When you wrote that the printer "will not work" after a new installation of Windows XP, I assume that the printer is not installed at all.  Just in case, however, previously, you use the package that you download from HP, follow the instructions here to clean all traces of a failed attempt to install it.  (Note: remember "Step 4".)  "Step 6" refers to the directions outlined in the upper part of this post.)

have windows 7 x 64 and hp deskjet 656c can not load the driver he keeps giving me error code 0 x 00000057 down

    Hello

Please contact the Microsoft community. We will be happy to help you with your concern.

According to the description, you can not install hp deskjet 656c driver you get error code 0x00000057c.

How do you try to install the driver? Is it through the disc or via the site?

Method 1: Use a troubleshooting tool to solve the problem:

Open the hardware and devices Troubleshooter

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-hardware-and-devices-Troubleshooter

Method 2: temporarily Disable the Antivirus and firewall and try to install

    Enable or disable Windows Firewall

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/turn-Windows-Firewall-on-or-off

Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Method 3: Try to install in the clean boot

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

    The page here can help.

Be aware that the printer Deskjet 720c was a low-end (relatively) printer introduced over 15 years ago.  It is quite possible that not all features are available in the current drivers, the printer was introduced to the time when Windows 3.1 was the current operating system.

HP has not suggested that they get out of the business of the printer, they have indicated that they are drop Touchpad hardware and look at the options for the PC business.  The printer is a very different organization.  (That said, I do not work for HP, and I do not have the information in this case.  "I am the news).

  • Issue of compatibility with back and HP Deskjet 3525 printer

I bought a HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 3525 printer for use with Windows 7 and I this Dos application that allows to print some documents, the problem is that I couldn't find how to set up the printer so it could print from that Application back.

So the question is: what is the configuration necessary to print from an Application back with the printer HP Deskjet 3525?

It would be more for the forum vDos on SourceForge, but ok:

    You have two essential files:

    config.txt:

You can leave it as-is, it's more to refine your request later.

    Autoexec.txt:

    Just the erase completely.

Suppose that your application is named located in .

    Put two lines in autoexec.txt:

    Use c:

    c:

    Save it and start vDos.

You'll get the familiar black DOS command prompt screen.

Perform a DIR [Enter] command, it should list your application files.

Then [Enter] to start the DOS application.

If it works, you can add a third line to autoexec.txt, then it will start you application automatically:

Then take a look at config.txt to finally make some adjustments.

  • DeskJet 720C: HP Deskjet 720C Page counter?

Hi, how can I print a page counter in this model? I need to control how many runs were carried out.

    Thanks for any help!

Sorry, the HP Deskjet 720c printer was internal firmware minimum and held host to many internal functions to the printer on the other models.  The Deskjet 720C printer doesn't have an internal for many pages counter, so that this information is not available on this printer.

If you want to count pages used now and in the future, you may using a third party application such as free here.  This will follow the current use, but will not be able to account for its use until the program has been installed.

I cannot print from windows 7 using HP Deskjet 842 C series.  Windows and HP said is compatible, it can only print from other applications and not Windows 7.  Any suggestions?

In fact - what HP means without out and say what they deem a legacy device (printer) and even if they included a universal driver (Microsoft put in Windows 7) and it should work without doing you anything else - it is perhaps not fully functional as it was in previous operating systems where they (HP) it supported.

HP in this case is the manufacturer of the equipment and in all related case material - the hardware manufacturer is responsible for the materiel support (drivers, software, etc.)

You can follow the advice of HP, if you want to:

But really what they're trying to say is, "your printer is old - buy a new one from us so that we can stay in business."

  • Windows 7 and HP Laserjet 2500 L won't print in color

I can't get Windows 7 to print in color on a HP Laserjet 2500 L.  I tried to download the driver again and re - install the printer and no luck.  I can get color printing using other printers (Canon and HP Deskjet).  Any ideas?

It's the work around installing Windows 7 for the HP Color LaserJet 2600n printer driver (I don't know if it will work for the 2500, but maybe worth a try)

    Follow these steps.

Download driver 64 bit vista for the 2600n. On your desktop, it should say 'clj2600n-HB-pd-win64-fr', do not download the plug-and-play installation, which she usually the first option on the download page.

Right-click on it and select "Properties". Select the tab at the top that says 'compatibility', then check the box "run this program in compatibility mode for: windows xp sp3 (this does not install but to).
Download the files extracted, granting of a permit).

Also, I checked the box "Run this program as Administrator". Click OK to close the dialog box.

Double-click the Zip file that you just modified. (clj2600n-HB-pd-win64-en)

You will get a security warning, choose run then you will get the WinZip Self-Extractor. Now be careful, don't forget the location (see below).

Default location would be in temporary files. I recommend that you type "C:\HP" and then unzip. It should tell you that two files have been unzipped successfully.

Then you should see the "hp color LaserJet 2600n HB - InstallShield Wizard" (be patient more slow computers may take a few seconds)... It will be by default save files in 'C:\Program Files (x 86) \Hewlett-Packard\color LaserJet 2600n drivers' when it's done, click Next.

Now, you go through the normal steps to add a local printer (note No LOCAL network) via the Control Panel , then select "existing use and port: LPT1:", and then click Next.

You should be installing the printer driver box, select have disk at the bottom on the right and go to "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Hewlett-Packard\color LaserJet 2600n drivers" that you have just installed the files. You should see a "CLJ2600" file, select it and finish.

The HP Color LaserJet 2600n printer should now be in your printers folder.

Right-click on it and select properties from the printer,

Click on the tab at the top of the printer for the 2600 properties page that says 'Port', add a Port and add "Standard TCP/IP Port", click New Port. A wizard to add a TCP/IP port is displayed, click Next at the bottom.

Now, type the IP address of your HP 2600 in the top box and click Next. It should detect your printer and then create a port on the ports of the printer properties box tab. Your new port must be verified, otherwise check it and click on the general tab, select print a test page, it should now display.

Please note there are minor variations, you can do that always gets the same results, this was as close as I could remember having spent an hour and a half on the online chat with a great technician of HP.

    Good luck.

  • J611 3050 has installed on Vista and works very well. Installed on Windows 7 and said always the printer is turned off.

My Deskjet 3050 a J611 is installed on Vista and it works fine. I then installed on a Windows 7 and the installation went well. • Auto unlock with Apple Watch does not appear in my window security and confidentiality

"Disable the automatic connection' or Auto unlock with Apple Watch" appears in my window security and confidentiality

    Hello

Automatic unlocking with Apple Watch is available for the Mac models since the mid-2013 and later running macOS Sierra.

    Check that:

    • Your Mac has Bluetooth and Wi - Fi enabled.
    • Your Apple ID use two factor authentication (as opposed to the two-step verification):
    • Your Mac and Apple Watch are connected to iCloud with the same Apple ID:
      • On your Mac, choose Apple () menu > System Preferences, and then click iCloud.
      • On your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app, then go to general > Apple ID.
    • Your Apple Watch uses a password:
      • On your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app, then type the access code.
    • Transfer procedure is enabled on your iPhone and your Mac:
      • On your iPhone, go to: settings > general > transfer procedure.
      • On your Mac, go to: System preferences > General - down, tick the option "Allow transfer between the Mac and your iCloud devices."
      • If these parameters are already enabled, a user has found that it helped to deactivate and reactivate the procedure of transfer on their iPhone.
