Windows 7 displays error 0x800736b1 when displaying photos

Original title: 0x800736b1

Hello

I am ignorant computer and still have my automatic updates or auto fix computer so that you find problems, they are sent and attached to my computer.

This morning after having looked at a few pictures I scanned on my computer yesterday and all the photos that I already have here and were visible now I get this error code afforementioned in my title of the question.

Please tell me you have an automatic solution for this error with my Windows 7 and IE9? I don't know how to uninstall, install, so if you don't I'll have to spend 150.00 and have a company come to do. I know it is a small mistake and I hope you can fix it.

Where are you when this error occur, my place of photos, another program.

You opened just the pictures one by one, or you tried to activate a slideshow.

  • Problems installing Windows updates, code error 0x800736B1

    Hi all

I am running Windows 7 and I am currently not able to install a bunch of Windows updates, obtaining the credits, "Code 800 b 0100: windows update encountered an unknown error."

I tried all the suggestions on https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/956702, none has helped.

I ran Windows troubleshooting and got the error code: 0x800736B1.

How can I fix? It seems that there is some random internet companies offering downloads that claim to solve the problem, but I don't know if one of them is trustworthy. I would rather solve this problem using products/patches from Microsoft.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I fixed recently updated, unless by a simple change of registration.

Click Start > run Regedit as administrator > find HKLM\Components > rename the line that reads 'pendingrequired' D_word to "pendingrequired = 1".

On some PCs, you won't find the HKLM\Components.  The registry entry will be under machine Hkey\local > components

I had the same problem over and over again with my Windows Media Player. He is not consistent, but it happens several times a day. When you try to listen to music on the net, I am having problems and receive an error code that reads C00D1198. I don't know what it means, and I would like to know how to avoid ever see that again. In addition, there were moments where I got Windows Media Player successfully, but after a while, the music would stop playing on its own.

    Hi Dazzlicious,

Windows Media Player cannot connect to the server that hosts the content you want to listen to. You may encounter this error message for the following reasons:

    1. The name of the server that hosts the content is not valid. If you typed an address Uniform Resource Locator (URL) in the Open URL dialog box, verify that the file name is spelled correctly and that the path to the file is correct, and then try again. If you clicked a link on a Web page, the link isn't valid.
    2. The server is not available (for example, the server is busy or not online). Try again later.
    3. For Windows Media Player proxy server settings are not configured correctly. Verify that your proxy server settings are correct.

You could try a few things first, check the Action Center in Windows 7 for all possible solutions (click Start, type: Action Center > press enter).

Then you can also try repair your installation of Windows 7:
    1. Insert the DVD of Windows 7
    2. restart your computer
    3. When asked if you want to boot from your DVD player, do it.
    4. Select your language, click Next.
    5. click on "repair your computer".
    6. Select the operating system you want to repair.

If the problem persists, try these other suggestions:
    Click Start
Type: CMD, according to the results, right-click CMD
    Click on "Run as Administrator"

This will check for any breach of integrity

    Restart your system

My computer did not come with the CD of windows vista. It is a HP Pavilion 9340f.  I did a diagnostic CD hardware bootable, but also recovery disks. Vista would be on these?

  • Activation of Windows 8 0xC0000022 error

Hey guys, I would really appreciate some help here.
Many thanks in advance to anyone who can solve this problem...

I took my laptop Acer in a shop repair to fix a broken power button and since then Windows 8 has been asking me to activate. I don't know how it happened as the repair guy was not supposed to make software changes and as far as I know he didn't.
Now, I am unable to apply the updates to windows on my laptop.
Windows periodically appears the parameters of Windows 8 PC asking me to activate. When I click on the button "activate" in the settings of PC nothing happens but a message saying "Error not found Activation".
I tried my best just shot myself, but I've gotten nowhere.

I tried to activate using the command slui 3, and initially the dialogue says that my product key works and click on continue, but when I got into in the next window you receive ERROR 0xC0000022
When I try to activate by phone using slui 4, I get the same error and also the activation dialog shows only the numbers 1-9 instead of 'series' of numbers for me to get on the phone.

I have many other threads in this forum and other forums, traveled trying to try one of the solutions that have worked for other people, but nothing has worked.

From what I have learned, this problem is caused by a problem with the software protection service.
When I check the status of the Software Protection service, it does NOT work and when I try to start it manually I get "error 5: access is denied."

I tried the SFC/SCANNOW command. and he reports new for me that all is well.
I changed around some permissions on drive C, make sure that my user name is listed as the owner and I still get the same error.
I have reset Windows 8 by default using the method to clean it thoroughly and I STILL get the same error.

I'm losing my mind here! I know there are some wizards real tech here and I really hope for more help. Thank you again for your time...

These error messages are a pain in the neck to extract useful information.

I suggest that you do a search online 'pilot audio free downloads' and find another audio program for your PC.

If you find something that works for your satisfaction - remove your original pain in neck audio software and make sure you make your audio program newly found the 'default' device.

Realtek and NVIDIA, for example get stuff good free audio driver.

If the new program does not work - it would be a good indication that you have hardware on your PC, drive problems and no amount of play more with to try to correct the audio software will help. Period

  • "Receive error message" due to an unidentified problem, Windows cannot display WIndows firewall settings "when you turn the Windows Firewall

How can I activate the Windows Firewall?

When I click on it in the Control Panel, I get a message that says "Due to an unidentified problem, Windows cannot display WIndows firewall settings".

    I use Microsoft Essentials antivirus.

    Hi Tom,

A firewall is software or hardware that checks information coming from the Internet or a network. The firewall blocks the information or allows information to pass to your computer. If the information is blocked or passed through depends on your firewall settings. A firewall can prevent malicious software (such as worms) to access your computer through a network or the Internet. A firewall can also help stop your computer from malware sent to other computers. Windows XP, Windows XP SP2 and Windows XP SP3 includes firewall software.

Perform the steps from the link below and see if it helps.

How can I turn on or turn off the firewall in Windows XP Service Pack 2 or later versions?

    Hope this information helps.

    Hello

1 Windows operating system you are using?

    2. when exactly you get the error message?

Important: this section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.
