Windows 7 Enterprise - screen is stuck on the screen 'your computer is locked.

Hello

I have a computer for no reason while not using it decides to lock and stuck on the screen "computer lock you."

I already have several times, power options changes since I work in a corporate environment all the machines are defined with the same question. All the computer we have, this is the 1st time that this issue has already shown. Do not know what could be causing the computer to be lock up on this screen.

The computer in question are pushed constantly updated and have all the updates of the system. It is a desktop Lenovo M93p 8 GB if ram and a 256 GB SSD running off a Core i7. A reboot clears the problem for a while, but do not recur.

Event logs see the errors for Schannel, application of group policy management and a problem of Netlogon. Not sure if they are related to the issue.

Any help will be appreciated

    Hello

I get this error "failed to configure windows updates. returning from changes. do not turn off your computer. The computer is a Samsung Ativ tab 5 and I got it for a little over a week.
I have updated with the SW update
The results of the troubleshooting online are:
    Problems encountered:
Recent updates - not fixed installation problems
Search for missing or corrupted - files detected
Some security settings are missing or have been modified - fixed
Registration for the service is missing or corrupt - fixed
    Windows Update error 0 x 80070490 (2014-02-10-t-11_25_11A) - fixed

I have been through ALL the steps as described in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/949358. I have had no success.
One thing that bothers me, is in the configuration of the system, I have a service called true vector Internet Monitor (Zone Alarm) and when the value disable as in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135, it is the only service still running when you perform a clean restart. I don't know if this affects the Automatic Updates/configuration or not.

    Hello

Thanks for trying to help. Now my computer seems to be up-to-date.
I followed your steps but MicrosoftFixit50202.msi did not like "my OS is incompatible. I use windows 8.  I couldn't run this in default or aggressive.
I did go in Control Panel and disable antivirus and firewall Zone Alarm and reset Windows defender by default.
I did IE default web browser I have prob changed when I got to the computer.
I then returned to set up a clean boot and this time I managed to disable the true vector Internet Monitor (Zone Alarm) to run.
I ran the reset troubleshooting of Windows with the same result as before is to say:
Recent updates - not fixed installation problems
Search for missing or corrupted - files detected
I think I have restarted my computer at this stage and then tried to update again.
It has not yet, but with the error, I got an error code and a link to help. I don't have not noticed this before. I followed the help and ran about 5 command prompts that have to do with the renaming of files I think.
Then I tried updating again and this time 38 45 updates succeeded. I then ran the update again and it seemed to work on the other 7 updates.
Although Windows Update said I was now updated, I was skeptical as when this whole thing started is started when I got the "windows installs updates" and then "failed to configure updates. Returning... etc"then I restarted my computer. At the start, there was no message on try to configure the updates, then, how do I know they are configured and working as it should?
    Thank you.

I reinstalled Windows Vista and now I can't run "repair your computer". I need to do this because I'm missing a few scripts.  What should I do to fix this

    Hello

    Run the sfc/scannow command.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

Use the (SFC.exe) System File Checker tool to determine which file is causing the problem and then replace the file. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click principally madeprograms,Accessories, right-clickguest, and then clickrun as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or clickallow.
    2. Type the following command and press ENTER:
      sfc/scannow

The sfc/scannow command analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions

If SFC detects the main problems it can't fix you may need to borrow a Microsoft dvd vista not an acer, HP etc. recovery disk and do a repair installation

    Hello

1st thing to try is a restoration of the system in safe mode

    http://www.windowsvistauserguide.com/system_restore.htm

    Windows Vista

    Using the F8 method:

    1. Restart your computer.
    2. When the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information begins to tap theF8 key repeatedly until you are presented with theBoot Options Advanced Windows Vista.
    3. Select the Safe Mode option with the arrow keys.
    4. Then press enter on your keyboard to start mode without failure of Vista.
    5. To start Windows, you'll be a typical logon screen. Connect to your computer and Vista goes into safe mode.
    6. Do whatever tasks you need and when you are done, reboot to return to normal mode.

If that does not read this information

  • I don't want windows 10, but I'm stuck in the update loop - Help!

I have tried to avoid the update of Windows 10 and was doing a good job, until one day I came back to my computer to find the middle of the update of Windows 10. I panicked, somehow managed to cancel and thought that I had won it.

Fast forward a week or two and my computer tells me to restart after the update. It's somewhat normal, I usually told to wait and he does. Not this time. He returns five minutes later telling me that it will restart in 14 minutes if I want to or not. I can't avoid it. It restarts. I have to go to work. I just find that it is just rebooted again later. I have to go back, I hear from my mother that she has restarted several times while I was away. I came home and closing it down properly and went to bed.

Today, it's the same thing, it force restarts every 20 minutes. I look for things on the internet and eventually check the updates. There are tons of failed attempts at upgrading to Windows 10 (which, remember, I never authorized to do so). I have 10 minutes before it goes to the next round. I'm next to me. I know not enough about computers to speak with her directly and make the troubleshooting thing I found on the internet that involves the registry and to be honest, I don't REALLY want to not Windows 10, so I don't want any solution that leaves as the result.

What can I do? It's time for me to just suck it up and buy a Mac? I am upset to forced into what I am quite certain I will never buy another Microsoft product again (and this is after growing up on Microsoft and he preferring Apple). I feel so betrayed and powerless. I don't want it to end on a bad note Aussie. Is there something I can do?

Even if you use another solution to prevent future attempts to upgrade, read the last two sections upgrade to disable Windows 10 - WiKi to see how to clean up what has already been downloaded to your computer.
