Windows 7 has reported non-genuine, but it is indeed

My venus of Windows 7 with my ThinkPad T430s bought in 2012. Recently, he began to report that the copy is not genuine. A notification of boring window always appears when I open certain windows applications.

  • My colleague has a non-genuine version of windows ultimate.

My colleague has a non-genuine version of windows ultimate. Wrongly, she bought an upgrade to windows 7 Home premium via internet. She has been accused of £82.99 and was sent an activation key. Obviously, she is unable to use this version. She asked me to try to sort it out for her. It is difficult to get a refund for this quantity. In the meantime, we bought a final full windows for PC, but we are waiting for the release and the disc.

While waiting on Unraveling the refund, just do an Express Windows 7 Ultimate from Home Premium upgrade.

If the license for Windows 7 Ultimate, you have access to is a retail version update or complete, you can use the product key and the Express upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Ultimate. First of all, check that the edition of Windows 7, you are upgrading is already enabled (if it isn't, you will encounter complications and that you might start all by performing a clean installation). Click Start, type Anytime Upgrade, click on the option enter a key, enter the key of Windows 7 Ultimate edition at the request, click Next, wait while checking the key, accept the license agreement, click on upgrade, wait while the software upgrades, (it may take 10 minutes or more depending on the if updates are required) your computer restarts automatically, after the reboot, Windows 7 will notify you updating the computer, the computer will restart once more automatically and will be completed the upgrade, a window will appear notifying the upgrade was successful and your computer is ready to use, click Close, you should be upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate files the stored settings and programs.

  • Windows 7 Build 7601 not genuine - but it is!

A month ago, I replaced my 5 + years computer's hard drive (an old Dell with Win 7 home premium), reinstalled windows (Yes, an authentic version) and went on my way happy.  Yesterday, in the typical fashion of this error, the background went black and I get the small "Windows 7 Build 7601 this copy of Windows is not genuine" in the lower right corner.  I also get popups from Windows telling me to validate my version, I tried and he repeated to me that it cannot validate it.  I have downloaded and run MGADiag.exe, with the results displayed below (even if I took the liberty to remove the characters of the product key and the hash key, as I not sure if that can be used maliciously or not).  Any help is really appreciated.

  • Windows 7 Build 7601, non-genuine copy after the failure of an attempt to upgrade to Windows 10.

I have a notebook Acer Aspire that I was given as a gift in 2009 after being seriously ill, it came with Windows 7 above and that it is authentic! I had a neighbour/friend IT fix a few years after obtaining a virus, had no problem until recently tried to upgrade to Windows 10.  The upgrade failed because then I get messages from all time indicating that my version of Windows is not genuine! The product key sticker is so worn that the numbers/letters are impossible to read, so what I do?  Please try and keep things simple for me, I'm not savvy in computer science. Thanks in anticipation, Tanya

You need to change the Boot order to make the CD/DVD drive 1st in the boot order, then restart with the Vista DVD in the drive and follow the instructions.

  • Two days ago Windows 7 Pro has suddenly become non-genuine

Two days ago, I started having a window informing me that Windows 7 Pro on my laptop is not valid. I ignored it, thinking it was just a fluke and would solve itself. There is, unfortunately, no.

I bought my laptop on eBay a few years ago. The COA reads as follows:

    Windows 7 Pro OA

    Lenovo Singapore

    X 15-53895

and my product key. I confirmed that the product in use key is the same as that on the certificate of authenticity.

I followed the instructions on this article http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-windows_install/getting-error-code-0x8004fe22-stating-windows-is/b42a0ab8-0e75-484f-901e-79ae206b4c12

The window is now gone, but in its place is the next on my screen (bottom-right):

    Windows 7

    Build 7601

This copy of Windows is not genuine

As I continued to work on this issue, I realized that I now also have the same problems as others have described in the article https://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/be3ed187-8ad9-41c8-aab4-3c8a4c81fb48/windows-activation-service-sluiexe-does-not-run-when-started-error-0x8002801d-please-help?forum=genuinewindows7

I.e. Windows Activation Service (slui.exe) does not work on startup. 0x8002801D error.

I crossed the fundamental Event Viewer logs and determined at least when this problem happened first. This is the first instance of anything related to the activation failure.

    Updated 04/06/15 06:37

This morning when I woke up my laptop, the window of Windows Activation Technologies came once again.

"To use Windows without interruption, this computer must be running Windows genuine.

With genuine Windows, you have access to all the updates of Windows and can be assured that your Windows software has the latest improvements for security and reliability of Microsoft.

    Pay online now

    Read the online privacy statement

    0x8004fe22 ".

    As expected ;)

I downloaded a file - sluicom64.zip - for my OneDrive to OneDrive Christmas

Please download and save to your desktop.

Right click on the saved file and select extract all...

Save it in the default location

This should create a file sluicom64.reg

Right-click on the file and select Merge

Accept the warnings, you should then get a 'Success' message

    Close all windows and restart.

Run another MGADiag report and view the results.

  • Windows 7 Ult has suddenly and bad start showing a message "non-genuine copy".

Since I used it last there two days, my copy of Windows 7 Ultimate has suddenly and bad start showing a message "not real".  Enter the correct product key Activation menu causes the message that Microsoft has blocked this key.  It's infuriating and totally unfair!  No explanation?

Please run the Microsoft Genuine Diagnostics Tool then copy and paste the results into an answer here for further analysis:

In addition, if you were using a pre-release version of Windows 7 Service Pack 1, your license status can change in non-genuine. You must uninstall the beta or RC, and then install the final version:

I bought a laptop computer with non-genuine windows 7. I have the original windows xp product key pro, etc. from the bottom of the laptop, but I do not have the windows xp pro cd.  Help me, please!

You will need to either buy a version authentic retail Windows XP, with its key sales, to a true scource or visit the site of laptop manufacturers, support for your model and see what versions of win are taken care of, then buy a commercial version of this o/s.

The key on the base of the laptop is the recovery key that requires that the recovery disks provided by the manufacturer.

You could phone manufacturers to support to see if they have the origonal recovery cd send you, for which it maybe a small fee.

  • Message "Non-genuine Windows" & Windows Update does not work after replacing the RAM.

    Hello

I have a PC desktop HPE-170 a current running Windows 7 Home Premium SP1, which has been installed on the machine by the store where I bought it. It has been properly activated and has worked very well for 18 months or more.

The other day it decided to not start and a computer savvy friend corrected the problem by removing the RAM memory cards, clean the gold plated connectors and re - insert the. This fixes the problem and it started again.

Today I received a message on the computer of Microsoft saying "your copy of Windows is not genuine" and he invited me to "solve online. Well, click on the 'My Computer' icon showed me that windows was still active.

By clicking on the "solve Online" link took me to a validation page, where after she tried to validation, it says "The Validation failed" and advised me to buy another copy of Windows 7 HP for AUD $149. Gee, thanks, but no thanks Microsoft. I clicked on cancel and the non-genuine message has not yet reappeared.

I also found now that Windows Update doesn't work that way.

I rang MS that says that I need the Windows 7 Setup disk. When I said that I don't have one, they advised me to ring HP. I didn't have time to complete the phone call from HP, but I believe that HP wants me to reset the system to factory with them State guide me by phone.

I have a genuine copy of Windows, a product key, and it shows as activated.  From what I understand the system think that I tried to put my copy of Windows 7 on a new computer or similar? I'm not sure.

Is it really difficult to get the system works just like before?

    Thanks for the reply.

I'm afraid I don't understand your instructions. I think that you are a fair way waiting for me in the issues of tech savvy.

I think I have stumbled upon something here; http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c02219204

Download and update this driver seemed to do Windows Update includes itself.

I can now go here; realwww.microsoft.com/ /validate/ and he says: "Welcome to Windows".

I hope I now get no more fake messages on my OS Windows is non-genuine.

    I'll see what happens tomorrow.

Last update 18/7: seems to be fixed, no more problems.

    Hi Carolina,.

Was it a Dell engineer who has reinstalled Windows for you?

In any case, if this is a Dell machine, there will be that a license key joined the PC somewhere, usually on the back, but if it's a laptop, it'll be below.

See this article for what to do if you can not solve the problem:

  • Standard upgrade to a non-genuine Windows XP?

I did a repair on Win XP installation, used one of several legitimate Win XP Professional CD with one of my several XP license keys.
It was after a physical reconstruction, the new disk, the new config.
This version of windows has failed the genuine validation.
I tried a lot of mods of regedit, different keys;  none worked.
Support says Windows XP is not supported, in addition to advice would cost me $99 and I had to upgrade to a new version of Windows.

    Question:
A standard upgrade of Windows will work on a non-genuine Windows XP in base?
It seems that the 'Get Windows Genuine Online' kit is a clean install, I would rather not rebuild my applications and data.

    Hello

Thanks for choosing Windows and thank you for providing an opportunity to help you.

According to the description, you are having problems with the upgrade.

Run the MGAdiag tool; Copy and paste the full report to analyze the problem.

Unfortunately, a standard upgrade of Windows will not work on a non-genuine Windows XP in base.

    Good day!

    Hope this information helps.

  • Malware 'non-genuine windows' shows and other software (Acronis) not said that this is the evaluation version when it is the paid-up version.

I've been running windows 7 64 bit with SP1 and all the updates that are known for 10 months without any problem.  Now, a 'non-genuine windows' malware appear and other software (Acronis) not said this is the evaluation version when it's the fully paid for version.  What should I do to solve this problem.  Rick Rickard

You must read the user final license agreement and you will find that the OEM licenses have restrictions. You need to understand.

If you want to move windows from one computer to another, you need a full commercial license.
This same problem is again this morning on another computer where he runs a real operating system from microsoft, Windows 7 32 bit SP!, more than 4 months.  Today he says that my win 7 op sys is not authentic.  This computer has been customized built so I was the first to install a sys op on it.

After a diagnostic for the analysis report.
  • Getting a Windos 7 Build 7601 non-genuine copy for a Home Premium which has been installed for > a year

I had a Windows 7 Home Premium operating system installed on a Raid 1 (mirror) configuration for more than a year. Windows 7, I bought it at a major, reliable, computer supplier NCIX.  A few months ago, I bought an Intel SSD drive and cloned on this disc; However, as I was not able to create a system image of this player, I disconnected this drive until I had the time to solve this problem. (What ultimately I did last night)

Unfortunately, recently my Raid configuration (using the Intel Rapid Storage Technology technology) needed to make a regeneration. While I reboot my system, I was able to log in but inside one minute I had a blue WHITE screen to identify the error to build 7601.

This environment, the only thing to do, I can manage scheduled to start Task Manager, where I could start a "new task" as cmd.exe , but could not run in mode "elevated command prompt" cmd.

My user name has administrative privleges but I was unable to properly execute one of the suggestions I found on this topic on the Microsoft site, etc..  For example if I start a new task to the task Mgr, find cmd.exe in the Windows/System32 folder and try to "run as Administrator", I get a message "cannot find D:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe". But if I spend just without the option "Run as Administrator", the cmd function runs but unfortunately not as an administrator.  (Windows is probably showing on D: because of the additional Windows Boot partition that Windows Installer initially created on this drive is C :)

In the last week or so I tried to save various files of my drives Raided by starting off my SSD drive which is not as recent as the pair Raided.  I didn't really want to re - install Windows 7 and charging/configure various other software I had on the pair Raided.  I can't find pictures of system or to try to fix the Win7 on the pair Raided, the restore points.  I tried a repair feature, without result.

"Because I was not getting anywhere with the resolution of this ' error 7601" on my records searched, I have attached another drive and clone the SSD him but manually defined a 'disc system reserved' more on the SSD that fixed my "create a system image failures."  I have re-cloned and then to the SSD.

I just restarted to from the SSD and now get "black background" with a "7601" error After losing my time following various guests/options/suggestions Microsoft who finally suggested that I should buy another copy of Windows software, I've run the MGADiag tool and which one out of this note.  I have full access to a windows environment 'normal' on system SSD... which I did not when starting and connecting to the pair of Raid.

I just ran the Visual Basic slmgr.vbs with the /ato option.

It has left me with a background black but deleted the message "not authentic 7601" and declares that "

    Slmgr.vbs /ato C:\Windows\System32>cscript.exe
Microsoft (R) Windows Script Host Version 5.8

    Activation of Windows 7, edition HomePremium (586bc076-c93d - 429 a-afe5-a69fbc644e
    (88)...
    Product activated successfully.

So I hope to keep it that way and don't revert to an "error of 7601" on a subsequent re-start because I noticed in some THERE IS some THING ELSE other cases 7601 I SHOULD DO HERE?

This is my exit from the MGADiag tool.  I'm including this here because I could "sort of run" ONCE the MGADiag tool of the pair of Raid, but not as an administrator and could not make a copy, etc... with the exception of pen and paper... and I see that there are a LOT OF SIMILARITIES.

  • Windows has stopped this device (USB 2.0 Flash Disk) because it has reported problems. (Code 43)

I have USB 2.0 Flash Disk of Orchid do. This device worked perfectly until I downloaded from MS Download Center "Microsoft USB Flash Drive Manager" and tried to install this. Although the program has not installed message stating that "this program is not applicable for the Version of Windows installed on your computer", but it made my flash drive stop working after the installation fails. Now, I always get error message this device driver was not successfully installed (USB device not recognized) and your USB device has malfunctioned or Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems (Code 43). In the Device Manager under USB controllers, the device is listed as "unknown device". I tried most of the methods described in the forum, but so far none of them has proved to be successful. I will ask members of the forum of good want to let me know if my device itself has developed some defect (hardware failure) or is - having something to do with driver has been corrupted (software compatibility problem) and if so what is the corrective treatment / necessary rectification. Furthermore, I must say here that I am running Windows 7 RC OS version on my computer. Thank you best regards &.
