Windows 7 ISO download Language Selection - no English Option

I have a full copy of Windows 7 Ultimate edition on DVD. I try to install it on a PC without a DVD player, so I went to download the ISO on the Windows site. When I enter my product key, it valid, but then I have to choose a language option. The English is not one of the available languages. This was bought in the United States - to the Microsoft Company Store, in fact. No idea how I can download the language English ISO?

  • Windows Vista iso download

    Hello

I had to replace the hard drive in the laptop to my sister because she died. Again, I would like to install windows Vista because it's what came with it. However, I can't find a Vista Home Basic ISO file. She has a Toshiba Satellite so I searched on the Toshiba site, but I found nothing.

    Hello

Toshiba does not have a download available.

There are several methods to reinstall Vista.

    This can help you:

The download worked in this link; then stopped. Posters have reported success from time to time with them.

    http://www.heidoc.NET/Joomla/technology-science/Microsoft/57-Windows-Vista-direct-download-links

You can contact Toshiba and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:

You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:

How to change the Boot order in BIOS:

"How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326246

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

Is there a problem with the server?

    Hello

To create your own installation media using a Flash DRIVE or a DVD, you can visit this link. You can use this to install or reinstall Windows 7 since you can download an image (ISO file) drive as long as you have a product key.

Remember the following points to avoid any problems during the download of the ISO file:

    • Turn off the blocker of your browser.
    • Check your firewall and security settings.

You can also use another browser if the download has failed. If the problem persists, use a different computer.

  • The correct version of Windows 7 ISO download problem

I have a retail purchased copy of Windows 7.  COA and all is good.  Disc is damaged without repair possible.  I was thrilled to find that I could just download a copy by entering my key in https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows7.  However, my excitement died quickly when the only option I got was the Korean version.  I have nothing against the Koreans, they are great people with amazing food.  But I don't speak their language, and I have no intention of learning.  I'm sorry.

How can I get the English (United States) version of correction of the installation media?

The site has been very little reliable for a while now and it looks like Microsoft didn't have no intend to set unfortunately. You will have to use alternatives.

For 5 years, Microsoft made it fairly easy for users of the Windows 7 operating system to get reinstall media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. More recently, Microsoft ended the availability to reinstall media that you can download as a. File ISO in Digital River, which is a digital reproduction of an optical disc.

It was particularly convenient for people who could not easily get the manufacturer's recovery media, did not want to pay the fees required to get or preferred a clean configuration without the software packaged manufacturers or even a recovery partition does not work. It's easy to use, all you had to do was reinstall and reactivate using the product key located on the certificate of authenticity and download all the drivers on the manufacturers website.

Given that this option is no longer available, what are your options? See the article for more details:

  • Language office (and all menus) are all in strange symbols, even if the language selected is English

I have a Vista Home Premium computer laptop (Toshiba Satellite) which shows strange lines and brands for all of the words on the desktop and menus. I guess it could be a different language, although it looks more like mutilated. I managed to check the regional/language settings (was not easy) and English is selected. Anyone know what is happening and how to fix this without reloading the operating system?

    Hello toryander,.

Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Community Forum.

When the problem started happening with the display of strange symbols and marks in your Vista Home Premium?
What has changed in your environment? Did you install a new program or install an update from Windows?

Have you tried running Safe Mode to see if it'll happen here?

If you know when the problem started, you can check and see if you have the system restore back to an earlier point in time. Note: System Restore does not save or delete your personal documents. This means that a document created and saved today is not deleted if you use the system restore. Only some system files and settings are changed when you perform a system restore.

Click the URL below to review the steps on the system restore.
936212 KB - how to repair the operating system and how to restore the configuration of the operating system to an earlier point in time in Windows Vista
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/936212 use system restore to undo changes
To be sure, save the files before you restore to an earlier point. To restore your system to a previous restore point:

    1. Click Start
    2. Point to all programs
    3. Point to Accessories
    4. Point to System Tools
    5. Click on the system restore and click on the Next button
    6. Select "choose a different restore point" and click the Next button
    7. Select the time of the desired date and restore point description.
    8. Click the Next button.
    9. Click Next to start the restore process.
    10. Click Yes in the confirmation message box that appears.

The computer shut down and on again automatically once the recovery is complete.

Please try the suggestions and reply back with the results and let us know if you need help or if this solves your problem.

    Hello

You can use speech recognition in a different language if a MUI language pack is installed for one of the supported languages. 35 MUI language packs are only available in Ultimate and Windows 7 Enterprise editions.

In your case, the French MUI language pack installation would alter the parent language to French, and allow you to easily switch between languages and use the speech recognition in this language.

Windows 7 language packs are available for computers that are running Windows 7 ultimate or Windows 7 Enterprise

Windows speech recognition language must be identical to the language of the operating system in Windows Vista
    (Also applies to Windows 7)

    Setting speech options

    I hope this helps.

Thank you for using Windows 7

  • HP Pavilion dm1-4400sa Windows 8 ISO download

    Hello

    I have a Pavilion DM1 laptop 4400sa.

This came preinstalled with the HP OEM Windows 8.

He has been cleared and had Win 7 installed on it. This unfortunately does not currently very well. I think it's down to driver problems, due to the difficulty of finding compatible drivers.

I would like to go back to Windows 8, even if I is not otherwise arranged on it in an attempt to get the laptop run faster.

Unfortunately, as indicates it the disk HARD has been cleared and there is no copy of the original OEM Win 8.

I retrieved from the product key from the BIOS and tried to download Win 8 of Microsoft:

Download page for MS Win 8

Unfortunately, the key being an OEM version, I can't download it, also I can only assume even if I could upload it installation fails when the product key is read from the BIOS or entry.

I am aware that I can order a copy of the installation of Windows from HP if I pay for it.

Is there a copy available for download installation that anyone can point me to?

One even better without all the stuff of HP bundled in.

Thanks in advance for any help Dave.

You are the very welcome, Dave.

I am pleased to have been of assistance.
