  It's only 2 emails with links that are supposed to allow me to click and then lead me to their site. Any email I open that has a link, I get a similar error message with the name of a company or the link, I try to open. I have no idea how I got it or how to get rid of. Would appreciate any help you can give me.

  Click Custom, and then select your web browser (IE)?
  Click OK

  Then, follow these steps:

  Select your browser from the list
  Click set this program as default
  Click OK

  The only way to do is to setup Windows user accounts for each user.  Other users cannot see what another user sees.

  Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

  Unsent messages is in your folder, for obvious reasons. They are in your Outbox waiting to be sent in. The Outbox is below account files in the folders pane. You will probably need to work offline before you can delete any message will avoid in there.

  Follow the steps below and see if it helps you to solve the problem.

  • On the Home tab, select to work offline.
  • In the view tab, uncheck the reading pane.
  • On the left side, scroll down to "Storage folders" and you'll see the Outbox.
  • Open the Outbox and delete the message.
  • Check the status of your problem.

  Hope it would help. If problem persists always post back with the current state of your computer and the result of the proposed suggestion, we will be happy to help you.

  wlmail.fol is a tiny text giving the name of the folder. The exported messages will have filenames like 00D13E83 - 000025DF.eml. If you don't see all of the files like this, your export probably did not work properly.

  For a successful export, follow these directions:

  1. Set Windows Live Mail to work offline before starting.
  2. Create a temporary folder on your desktop * to contain the exported messages.
  3. In the Export Wizard, select the temporary folder, and then select all the folders.* *
  4. When it is complete, check that the number of files in each folder to the temporary folder is one more than the number of messages in the corresponding folder of WLMail.
  5. Copy the temporary file to its final destination.
     If you use a reader not NTFS to do this, you will see a warning that certain file properties will not be copied files. This can be ignored.

  * Windows Live Mail do not work with files that are not on a local drive, as opposed to an external or network drive. This is avoided by using the office as a temporary folder location. 
  * If you want to export the files sampled only, select each of them containing messages. Subfolders are not automatically selected by default.

  One is not so accurate, but I was able to determine where the tab 'options' is despite the false instructions and screen shot... dunno where they got these... but I found it anyway.

  The second link is simply a link that comes from the tiny button (?) at the top right of the interface of WLM2011... almost too small to notice.

• I opened a new account in Windows Live Mail to my e-mail address of heaven. All oustanding flooded in emails. Since then, I can only send email.

  I removed the account and opened another in case of filling of the Inbox, but the same thing happens again.

  When you set up a new account POP3, the first time that you query for messages it will download all the contents of the Inbox of your mailbox. What did you expect to happen? Now, what happens when you query for new messages by pressing Sync?

  Windows Live Mail has its own support at the Windows Live Solution Centerforums. Please address any other question you may have on one of the forums on the right side of this page. You are probably asked to give your version of WLMail and Windows so that the answer may be more accurate.
  • In WLMail to find your version of the software, a press on ALT - H.
  • To find your version of Windows, press the Windows key + R, type winver in the box and press enter.

  I've used Windows Live Mail. When I click on a link that I have the msg "There was a problem sending the command to the program" how to correct this.  I tried connecting to Hotmail and links work very well, so I guess that there is a bug in the Windows Live Mail program.
