  Step 1. Open programs and features by clicking on the button start

  Step 2. Click on Control Panel

  Step 3. Click on programs

  Step 5. Select HP Support Assistant

  Step 6. Click on uninstall

  Step 7. Restart your computer

  Step 8. Download and install the latest version of HP Support Assistant

  I suggest to uninstall HP Support Assistant and reinstall the latest version here.  Win 10 usually do not play nice with some of the apps of HP.

  I recommend you create the necessary actions on the ReadyDATA. Enable SMB or NFS on the shares.

  Then create on the ReadyNAS backup jobs using the ReadyNAS built-in Backup Manager. Create a job for each action and push data across the ReadyDATA by using SMB or NFS.

  Hey Joe,

  Follow these instructions:

  1. Show your actions by going to Window > Actions on your laptop.
  2. If your actions are not contained in a game, you can create one by clicking on the icon of the folder at the bottom of the widget action.
  3. Drag the stock that you need in the new set.
  4. Make sure you have selected defined action.
  5. In the menu in the Actions widget () choose Save Actions .

  

  This will create a *.atn file to the location you choose. Save it on external hard drive or on the network location.

  On another computer, follow these steps to import the actions:

  1. See the actions going on Window > Actions .
  2. In the menu in the Actions widget () choose Load Actions .

  Have you made a backup of the files of these actions before Windows 10 .atn?

  You should look for these .atn files and load them into Photoshop.

  Go to the window actions > click on the drop down at the top right > choose load actions and select the .atn file to load.

• My actions do not work when I play action, it looks like black and white squiggles.  Any suggestions on what could be the problem

• CS5 CS6 actions - mode button broken

  Just improved CS5 to CS6 on the Mac. I imported our actions (some are not import at all), but the problem that we have with our actions, it is in button mode, the action requires that confirm us each step. If I set the "normal" display mode by turning the button off mode, while the actions are working fine. I can run an action with multiple steps and I have never asked for a confirmation, it simply works. Mode button and I need to confirm each step.

  I use usually just a button model specialized for the buttons that trigger dynamic actions. This can be a copy of a model of existing button, where this feature is removed:

  onclick="#LINK#"
  

  In this way, the action of redirecting/submit button isn't getting triggered at all.

• Actions: Dialog not opening automatically

  I've recently updated for CS4 CS5.  I imported some actions that I created without problem.

  I use one for sharpening with the following steps:

  1. convert in Lab Mode

  2. Select lightness channel

  3 open Unsharp Mask dialog box

  4 convert RGB mode

  The "Dialog" is properly enabled/disabled on "on" in step # 3

  However when I run the Action, the dialog box for the USM is not automatically pop up, as in CS4 - but if I click anywhere on the screen, she does next.

  I tried to recreate the same action in CS5, but it has the same problem - for the USM dialog box does not open by itself and does that when I click anywhere on the screen.

  This happens both on my Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit desktop and a new laptop Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

  Very frustrating - I did a search for solutions, but found no.

  Any suggestion is appreciated.

  The plot thickens:

  Your Action works very well for me.  When I look at the measures in CS5, on the Actions tab, they appear to be identical; I see no apparent difference.

  And, on further inspection, the plot even more complicated:

  I tracked down the problem - I called F10 as a shortcut key for this action.  When I created this new in CS5, I assigned SHIFT + F10.  With these two, the dialog box opens not until a click anywhere on the screen.

  But if I just press the 'Play' icon for one of them, they work fine.  If I assign other shortcut keys (for example, I tried F9, F11, SHIFT + F9, SHIFT + F11), they also work very well.

  (Edited to add: If the shortcut of your action, I did F10, it displays the same behavior as mine - the dialog box does not open upward.)

  So there's something with F10 as a keyboard shortcut, for at least some actions, that triggers this behavior, at least on my system.

  Still, it's okay, but I'd be curious to know how to use F10 as a shortcut to Action effects the behavior of this Action on your system.

  And thanks for the alternative method to achieve my goal - it is always good to learn new things.

• vRO 6 - dynamic entries based on the value

  I am (relatively) new to vRO and I started working on a workflow to set up a virtual machine with a few entries such as mem name, CPU, IP, etc..

  I would like to adjust the presentation of the sort workflow according to the provided IP address (looking at first two or three bytes of an IPv4 address) user, subnet mask, default gateway, and DNS servers are pre-filled to minimize the entry on the front-end server.  I tried to use if/else statements in a script task, but everything I've tried so far doesn't seem to work (I've seen examples of preset items and OGNL expressions similar to this, but I don't know if it is the necessary way).

  Any advice on how to achieve this?

  Attached, is an example of workflow + action to show predefined things.

  There are 2 input parameters of type string, and the logic is:

  • If you type only a character in the first field, the second to be pre-filled with the 3 elements - a1, a2, a3
  • If you enter one text other than only one in the first field, the second with pre populated with 3 other items - b1, b2, b3
  • If the first field is empty, the second will be also empty.

  Please import the action and the workflow in your vRO and check if they work for you.

• Error code 1009

  I get an error code 1009. It appears when I try to update or download an app on the AppStore in my IPhone. However, the AppStore can still be opened.
