Windows 7 minimizes all windows open automatically

I have Windows 7 64-bit OS. In recent weeks, the system automatically minimize all open windows / programs. This happens very often - as much as every 10 to 15 minutes. I've seen similar posts on this problem for people to play video games. While I have not all video games, I tried the solution, but not luck.

Please can someone tell what I can do. It is very annoying.

I reinstalled the driver for the touch screen and the question is no more.

Of course, it looks like infections are present.

Run ADWcleaner https://toolslib.net/downloads/viewdownload/1-adwcleaner/ it's free and one of the only malware cleanup tools that I trust.  Malwarebytes can be used, but be careful to not take the trial or use the pro version.  Virtually all the removal tools known as maleware are in themselves of malware.

If you are unable to get sufficient control, download ADWcleaner into the USB port on another computer.

Multiple OS question at the start is usually someone re - install Win7, but unless you first delete the existing partition.

Now, this is a controversial subject, but your choice of AV software may be something you want to take a 2nd look.  I suggest you visit this website to get an idea of what AV software made the best work, depending on what type of user you are: http://www.av-comparatives.org/ is a non-profit that has been around for a long time and I hope that their results.

When you interpret these results, remember the difference between a product that detects 95% and the other 99% of infections, it is actually 5 times more likely to allow an infection.

I care about 140 Windows PCs and I have more than 13 years.  Until last September, the only AV software that I would allow my clients to use was Norton Antivirus.  Note that this is not the same as any other product, Norton 360 or Internet Security.

Last September, Symantec (Norton owner) decided to no longer sell such a product.  After much research, I decided on Bitdefender Antivirus 2015 +.  I installed it on more than half of these PC so far and has never been a problem.  In fact, I think it's a better product than even Norton.  One of the things I love the most about it, is the silence and discretion.  It is also cheap.

My customers know that if they install any product of 'Internet Security', I won't work on their computers until it is deleted.  Very well, I learned the hard way that the other components of these products (other than the AV itself) IS caused more problems than any profit that they bring and work primarily by stopping the Windows component that does a very good job of this particular task still.  My problem is that when I started to work on a computer with an IS on it, I could spend hours trying to diagnose the problem, only to find out that by taking the product of the IS, the problems have become much clearer and easier to solve.  I think that the product of the IS actually hides the problem.

As I said.  It is a controversial topic and you will find many different very strong opinions.  I know that mine is based on a fairly large sample over a long period, and are consumers of consumer type Windows.

Another thing you need to know: you can delete not entirely of most any AV software simply by using the standard uninstallation tool Windows 7.  Most of the majors also publishes a "removal tool" that gets the rest.  If you do not completely remove it, it will cause very hard to understand and diagnose problems.

  • Windows xp automatic camera detection

    Hey,.
I have an Olympus Stylus Tough-3000 digital camera and Windows XP Professional. It works on my Windows 7 computer, but when I plug it to my XP computer, all I hear is the sound, and then get a box that says 'choose what program to use with your device.' There is not in the list, so I downloaded Picasa 3, but it won't work. And when I go to scanners and cameras then plug my camera, my camera icon appears briefly and then disappears. Help, please!

Maybe something in the following collection of suggestions (already posted
in the MS newsgroups) will shed light.

Before that you connect your device to your computer, make sure that you have enough
battery power or better yet use your AC connector if your camera came with
one. Then check the manual of your camera.  With most cameras, you put simply
on and set to take pictures with others, you need to put in
something like connect to the PC or define the PTP. After the connection, power of the camera
and wait about 15 to 20 seconds for XP to recognize the camera, you will hear
some his "Ding Dong" and the LCD screen of your camera will change (the
change is dependent on the type of camera you have) and you are now ready to
transfer, even if the AutoPlay window does not open automatically.  If you
do not hear a sound or the LCD screen of your camera does not change, the
the USB connection is not correct. Go to the bottom of these
directions to repair the USB connection.

    After hearing the sound:

    1. open my computer, look under devices with removable storage. Your camera
(or card reader) appears as an external drive (probably listed
below of your CD-ROM drive). Right-click on your camera listed as an external
drive. A menu opens, click on AutoPlay listed in the opening menu. This
should open the AutoPlay window to download your photos the same way as when
the AutoPlay window opens automatically when you connect your camera.

    Or

    2. open my computer, look under devices with removable storage. Your camera
appears as an external drive (probably listed below your CD
by car). Double-click it to open it.
You will see a folder, double-click it to open it, and then another folder, double
click it to open it and you will see the list of photo files. Select all
the files and copy them to a folder on your hard drive. To select all files, press and hold the
Hold CTRL key and press the letter A. Or, click on edit on your top bar and
then click Select all in the opening menu. When the files are selected, their
the names are highlighted in blue.   You can then see the menu on the left
file names and click on copy, then select the folder you want or
    Create a new folder.

just connect with a card reader, with an inserted memory card and
photos on the memory card. Turn on the device, wait 10 to 15 seconds for XP
to recognize, you should hear a sound and the LCD screen of your camera
will change, change is dependent on the type of camera you have.

Click on my computer and look under the device with removable storage. Your

camera appears, probably under your CD player and a player
letter will be assigned to it (something like the H, G, etc.). You will use this
The drive letter in a step below, so just note it on what the drive letter is.
If you don't see your camera listed there, you'll need to fix your USB
connection (see below for repair), or you are on a network and the network
Player is Z and XP cannot assign a drive letter to your camera. You will need
take care of that first. The following steps will not work if XP cannot be attributed
a drive letter for your camera. In some cases, your camera may be listed
but no drive letter. Try the drive letter after the CD or DVD drive
    registered at the camera.

II. Click Start, click Run, and type the following command in the text box:
    REGSVR32 SHIMGVW. DLL
    and press enter
Note that there is a space between... 32 and SHI...
This will take a few seconds to run.

III. download the file autofix.exe site below.  At this Microsoft
site, you have the possibility to download the autofix.exe file in one of your
folder (or create a new folder, and then save the file it), then open the folder
Double-click the file, and then follow the instructions on the screen. Or,
Let Microsoft scan your computer for repair. You will need your
drive letter of camera during this step.  After that, restart your computer.

IV. after reboot, power on, wait 10 to 15 seconds for XP
recognize it, you should hear a beep and the AutoPlay window
should now open giving you the opportunity to download pictures from the camera.

    V. you may need to set the options in this window.
Click on my computer, your camera must be registered the peripheral with slot
Removable storage. Right-click on it and click Properties. When opening
window, click the AutoPlay tab, under Select, highlight the pictures to
Select it. Select the warn me...  Do the same thing for a CD player.

Another solution posted by Bill, using a Nikon camera.

I installed the camera through the Control Panel Add Hardware feature. He went
point of requiring a file called ptspusd.dll from the service pack, a. I have
found the file via search on my hard drive. Type the path in the window
who asked for her and she had. Solved the problem. See Configure your menu on
the camera to see your USB setting is PTP

    To repair your USB connection:

Go to control panel > performance and maintenance > system > hardware > device
Manager > Universal Serial Bus Controller, click the plus sign + to see the list
arrangements in place. If your device is connected, it must be registered with
with a yellow flag (the yellow flag indicates that although the connection)
is there, it does not correctly).

Make a right click on it > properties > troubleshooting. See if the convenience store can
Help. If this is not the case, click Action in the top bar, and then click Uninstall. Let your
camera on and connected and reboot. XP should now recognize the camera and
install it (I assume here that your camera is fully compatible with XP
and according to your manual, you don't need to install a driver, that
must be true for the cameras of 2001 and more).

Also, make sure the software you use for photo editing. When you open the
software, click file in the upper bar. Consult the opening menu. You
probably have an option to download photos from a camera or a scanner or
    card reader.

Something else could be the problem (this is a more recent, June 2004,

    problem) as shown here:

All of a sudden there are not a lot of posts here on the camera wizard

messages mentioned the upgrade to Real Player seems to cause the problem. I have
recently updated that also. Just uninstall my camera assistant and it came
immediate return - this after weeks of trying to figure out what went wrong!

(Note: some have reported that uninstalling Real Player 10 works fine,)
others have reported that they had to use the autofix.exe after removing
Real Player 10. Real Player is aware of the problem and working on a fix).
Apparently, he had no problem with Real Player 9.

    Another possible solution.

Click Start, click Run, and type the following command in the open text box:

  • No idea how I can follow all currently open files (or windows) to a file text or other sort of newspaper? Something similar to the Applications tab in the Manager of tasks, but with a path

I am interested in creating a batch file or executable that will keep track of all of the currently open windows (files and applications)

so that when Windows restarts I can more easily return to what I was doing before.
This can be done either by connecting each operation on the file - open and remove items in the list when an item (file or window) is closed (logging only at this time here)
, or by checking every 5-10 seconds that windows and files are currently open.
I tried using TaskList, and OpenFiles to it but cannot do things, plus those also do not provide a path to open files - I want to keep the paths so that the items can be recovered (reopening) with a single click.   Any ideas how to do this?   I use Windows 7 Professional.
My idea is to have the possibility to go back to all that I was working on, without having to memorize the list...  It is very useful for people who keep a lot of files and windows open most of the time, especially if for some reason any Windows crashes or stops the case (e.g. restart after an update...).    MS Office products can do it (by saving temporary files and allows you to recover if the program was not closed properly), a Web browser can do (keeping a story and using the session management)-why Windows can't do
    ?
In addition, if there is such list of open windows and files then it might be possible to keep also some history and ' files/windows' recently closed, similar to how Google Chrome can show recently closed tab.
The application that I'm developing (for my own personal use, although I would offer it to someone else) will be:
-keep a history and a current list of open files/windows, including a path for each file opened.
-Files/windows closed are removed from the list "now open" and moved to the list of "recently closed", which has a maximum length.
-file/window close operations should be associated with the user control. Otherwise, opens the files that are closed
by Windows when the judgment is no longer will be identified as open.
-an option would be to ensure, somehow, that this request is always closed during a regular shutdown process first.
-Another option is to simply assume that there is no problem, if Windows broke down, and that the user is reminded to close the application before you stop.
-Another option is to have the traceable list, a user can go back a few steps up a point until Windows began to close.
-Another option is to have the "last sitting" identified as, for example 2 minutes before closing, while keeping a list of items opened after that date.
-list "recently closed" items that are too old (have been pushed to the bottom of the list and beyond of the length limit are moved to history.
-l' history can be defined for a limited time or can be cleaned manually or automatically (periodically), or we can set a limit on the length for the history list.
    * the application/batch/executable is located in the Windows startup folder and it:
    -is launched at Windows startup
-after start (automatically or manually) will display a dialog box containing a list of the items that were open before windows stop - see Creating session above.
-user can deselect items in the list if he or she does not want to open them. "Uncheck the items of list moves to the ' recently closed" list or history.
-by identifying which items are not kept, or simply to keep everything, the user clicks on a single button and the application opens to all items that are always enabled.  To avoid slowing down the system, an option is available to open files, in which case a flow can be set.  Defining a priority list, it is also an idea.
