Windows 7 not genuine ~ yesterday
I have a system built home running under that Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (service pack 1). Built 2 + years ago. Recently, I switched on the motherboard & cpu for a newer version. I uninstalled the drivers etc before the swap (Windows has one wide before the swap). Afterwards, I couldn't install the video (workstation) AMD drivers, so I installed a nVidia Quaddro. I have re-enabled online and evrything seemed fine. Then I got the popup telling me that my Windows 7 is not genuine (Oct 06). Started a conversation with a representative of MS online and be re-activated. Until today. A ran the tool of diagnosis of MS, the results displayed below. Note > I ran this tool yesterday and he said always 'true' (I have a screenshot of it). I am also noticed that Windows Update does not work - even if the service indicates 'on the road' in Services. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I got my version of windows activated for about 3 years. I did a bunch of windows updates yesterday when he arrived to service pack 2, it installed and most of it then told me that my version of windows is not genuine. I'm also infallibly get error messeges that my installer of Modules of Windows has stopped working. I went to the windows genuine activation tool, and he said he couldn't tell if my windows was genuine or not. I have a sticker with the product key on the side of my computer. I tried to call the Activation Center by following the instructions to get the phone number, but my windows vista won't take me to the screen with the support of activation phone numbers.
Can I get the phone number for support?
Thank you

Build 6002 this copy of Windows is not genuine. And it will not accept my registration keys-
An update of my system took place yesterday. has worked for several hours today and the screen went black, and this message appeared: Build 6002 this copy of Windows is not genuine.
Now I'm stock and can't get my system to respond.
Hi Mick:
Following up on the Question:
I tried several methods to update my valid registration keys and to clear this error message. Done with a case of pension to MS. Took them 3 hours (on the phone) to solve this problem. they installed some exec and had to override system to accept my valid registration keys.
Problem is now solved.
Thanks for trying.

Microsoft keeps tellingmy that my copy of Windows is not genuine!
Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit
This is the same operation SystemI have had on this computer for the past 6 years, since I bought it all first! Nothing has changed! I had no repairs! There was a Windows Update yesterday and I thought that this could be the problem I did a system restore point before. That did not help.
I remember at one point, it says that an update today could not get through and that my copy of windows is not genuine.
I'm getting pretty annoyed with Microsoft. They tried to push Windows 10 discount on me for months now and I refuse continuously. They tried some devious stuff as if we were trying to tell me again and again that my hard drive is about to fail. I had the drive hard Sentinel and it shows me that my hard drive is 100% excellent health and performance right now, where a week ago, it is 0% and is about to fail. He did it again and again for a year now, ready to fail a week, then the other it is still 100% perfect once, this has happened since MS came out with Win 10 and wanted everyone to download it for FREE!
My system information file says I have Win 7 Home premium and it came from Microsoft, so I don't know what to tell them, but they tell ME that I can't get more updates until I install a new Windows OS.
This is total BS!
How do I stop this and recognize it as the same operating system that it has always been for the last 6 years?
Complain do not solve your problem. This type of problem arises for various reasons including:
Malware infestation.
Changing or adding a device installed.
Corruption of the system.
The easiest way to go is to re - enter the product key, following the instructions of my p [message back.
Find the COA sticker?

Why do I get "this copy of Windows is not genuine. Build 7601, Windows 7 "? Windows was preinstalled on my computer when I bought 7 years ago. This message just started yesterday.
The label on the bottom of my laptop is worn and unreadable. I prepare some restore disks when I bought it all first.
Also, is it safe to use with this message? I am more sensitive to the virus and malware?
When I ran the MGADia.exe, I received the following:

"Windows 7 Build 7601 this copy of Windows is not genuine" watermark
I use Windows 7 Pro for years without problem, but yesterday a reboot all * broke loose. Finally, I have cleared the error message next (which fixed the error "Could not load python27.dll"), and I found another copy of TAPI32.dll to replace my damaged copy. All this has been, I'm sure that, due to a recent incident which probably corrupted files. However, I'm still stuck with the error message in the subject:
Windows 7
Build 7601
This copy of Windows is not genuine.
I am absolutely convinced that it is authentic. It's an OEM package years that was installed when my machine was custom built, and I don't have any problems with it so far. He, of course, traveled with me through the different parts upgrades and replacement on the computer, including a couple new hard disks.
I ran MGADiag, with the following results:

Yesterday a notice appeared on the lower right of my saying (black screen) desktop "Windows 7 Build 7601 this copy of Windows is not genuine." The computer is a Dell XPS1702x I bought the 29/08/2011 and never had a problem before. I have two drives to Windows 7 Ultimate and Office 2010 Professional Plus, that are installed on the system. I have read other threads and will display the results of the diagnostic MGA. The computer seems to operate normally, other than the appearance of the desktop. Thank you.

Activation and Validation issues more look the same on the surface, but can have many different causes and bugs. This is why we ask a diagnostic report and it is also why we are asking that you create your own thread for your question (in other words, do not post your question in another thread).
It is simply too complicated to try to resolve the multiple problems in the same thread.

Get the message saying Windows is not genuine
Hey,.
The computer is maybe about two years old and it came with Windows 7 Home Premium pre-installed. Yesterday a box emerged telling me my copy of Windows is not genuine. I followed the link and tried the validation thing, but it's on this page for centuries now. I run ESET NOD32 antivirus, Malwarebytes, Super Antispyware and Spybot and nothing but cookies tracker was found on one of them. The only thing linked windows that I've messed around with lately has been uninstall Windows Office. Don't think that this would have caused a screw to the top, but who knows. No idea what could be causing this and how to solve?
Thank you.

Windows 7 not genuine? MS Office products say without a permit?
I got my copy of Windows 7 for a little over a year. Yesterday, he said in the lower right of my screen:
Windows 7Build 7601This copy of Windows is not genuineWhen I try and use Publisher, he said that this copy is without a permit. I got Windows 7 when I bought a Dell Inspiron 560. Since then, I've replaced all the components of the computer besides than the hard drive (which has the OS on it). I don't know what happened, and I know that I have not forged any Microsoft product. Can someone tell me please how to fix this?you use an OEM SLP key on a motherboard retail. It simply doesn't get it. An OEM SLP key should interact with the bios slic table in order to activate. A motherboard retail is not a slic table.
You can buy a genuine windows.OEM SLP: This key comes pre-installed in Windows, when it comes to the factory. This key is designed to work with the special instructions isn't on the hardware of this manufacturer. Then, when Windows was installed using the OEM SLP (in factory) Windows 7 key leans on the motherboard and he sees special instructions and activates. -
I bought a laptop and installed windows pro. Windows has been activated successfully. After two weeks, I've had my laptop replaced with a new laptop, the same model (with the same characteristics) due to a defective part of the keyboard. They removed the hard drive of my laptop and inserted in the new laptop. After that, windows is reactivated in the new laptop and the activation was successful. Installed windows updates regularly.
Two weeks later, after playing a game online, I saw a message from 3 lines at the bottom right of the screen with the last line, saying "Windows is not genuine". I forgot the first two lines, because when I open my computer system properties, I checked that the glass is always enabled, and at this time when the System Properties window has been opened, the message of 3 lines down to the right of the screen suddenly disappeared. After that, I checked the windows update and installed the updates available and it is ok. Since yesterday I have not seen the message more. It came to my mind that, at the time the message appeared, is 30 days from when I activated all first windows.I just want to clarify if it was just a bug, or wrongly identified my OS as genuine microsoft? If it was just a bug, this message will appear soon? Hope someone can clarify it.Thank you.Well, your report does not indicate that everything is bad:

Windows 7 - Build 7601 this copy of Windows is not genuine
Hello everyone.
Im a newbie here so I hope I get this right.
I have a question about this message on my desk to read "Windows 7 Build 7601 this copy of Windows is not genuine."?
I bought this Satellite c660 to Qatif in Saudi Arabia and now he's here in the Philippines.
My laptop is Windows 7 Professional 32-bit. It asks for a product key and I can't find one. There is no product in the background key sticker and I don't know where to get that.
I ran a diagnostic and I hope this helps.Diagnostic report (1.9.0027.0):

> How can I get a copy?
If your laptop was initially shipped with Win7 preinstalled and you want to now order original Toshiba Recovery disk for your laptop that you can do it on https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx
>... where I can find a product key that I use to activate windows?
You can not find it. I put t understand your question. If you use OS Toshiba you n t need activation code, but if not you and if pre-installed OS is installed with the installation of Microsoft disk you need to pay for a valid license. All the time, you're in the magic circle. You always ask the same question, but somehow, you don t read what other people write here. "Build 6002: this copy of Windows is not genuine".
Hello world...
I've had my TOSHIBA Satellite L40-139 for more than a year. She was purchased by PC World and came with a preinstalled version of Windows Vista Edition Home Premium. I don't have the disc that came with the laptop, but the Windows installed is genuine.
I went to install Vista Service Pack 2 after you download. I restarted my laptop only to find my desktop wallpaper disappeared and was replaced with a black background and the following text in the lower right of the desktop:
Windows Vista (TM)
Build 6002
This copy of Windows is not genuineShe was followed by a pop-up with two options, 'Activate now' or 'Activate later', followed by a pop up an error that says Windows must be reinstalled as a "unauthorized modification were made...". Please insert the CD or DVD. If I press 'Activate now' he's just another pop up that says I can contact TOSHIBA. If I click on the link it will just a standard screen for "help!"
I don't know what to do... I have the sticker intact COA product key and tried to enter, but she returned with various errors. It's like as soon as I installed service pack 2 I had problems. Yet once again, I don't have Vista or a toshiba recovery disk (I don't even know if it came with one). I tried to restore Windows, but it returns with the same screens!
Help!
PS. is the Toshiba support line a toll-free number? Does anyone know a number that is free to call mobile phones? (I don't have a landline).
Your model of laptop is not delivered with the recovery disk, but with recovery image stored on the HARD drive. In s manuals document clearly describes that you must fund recovery DVD only tool preinstalled Toshiba recovery disc creator.
Version of the OS pre-installed (Toshiba recovery image factory settings) is definitely authentic and I really don t understand how it can happen. I mean thousands of people do the same update, and there is no other claim on similar problems.
Anyway, if you didn t create recovery disk you can try now is to reinstall the OS using the HDD recovery procedure. How to do this you can read in document http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/HTD9102IR0000R01.htm Toshiba FAQ
This will remove all HARD drive, extract second partition so if you have some important data backup. If it will not let me know.

Windows says not genuine after that laptop warranty repair return
I sent my laptop to a power supply repair after it failed. He is now back and looks very good, but it says that windows is not genuine, even after that I run the audit online tool. Any thoughts? Back to toshiba (again)?
You have recovery discs?
Original installation Toshiba recovery using these discs and laptop image will be valid and active operating system.
