  • C460 - Windows 10 - no network card

I have upgraded to Windows 10 and my network card was not recognized. It is there, but in mode 'deep sleep', power state = D3.

I tried everything to get out of this State... new drivers, reset the motherboard, etc... I went out and bought a USB wireless adapter, and it went in the same State.

I downgraded to 8.1, and network card started working again.

I thought it's maybe a BIOS problem, but it was turned on it, and I see no updates available for the C460 BIOS.

What I'll do next, is uncheck the option to enter the State of low power on the wireless card, then repeat the update of Windows 10...

    Anyone see this before?

Thanks, I tried all of this. What worked was to go down to 8.1, uncheck the capacity of the card go to low power... then re-upgrade to win 10.

  • Windows cannot find network card until I reboot

    Hello

I noticed a few threads that are similar to my problem, but I have a recurring problem that is boring and not too disruptive. Everytime I turn on my computer Dell Inspiron desktop for the first time, every day, windows is unable to locate a network card is installed correctly.  When I check in the network device manager, there is nothing available. I then restart my machine, and then windows (64-bit 7) finds the suitable network and connect to my router etc, and all is well. When I check the Device Manager after the reboot, I see under network: Broadcom Netlink (TM) Gigabit Internet.  When I click on this and try to update the driver, reports of windows that it is up-to-date!
So, my problem happens whenever I start my computer, but never when I restart!
Any suggestions? As I don't want to start and restart my machine every day of her life!
    Thank you very much
    Mick

I suspect a hardware problem with the adapter.

You can try to uninstall the card in the Device Manager and then reboot and let Windows reinstall.

  • Windows 8 wireless network card problem

    Hello

I have problems with my wireless adapter (Atheros AR5b93-already updated to the latest version of the driver). Often some time after I watch videos (offline). There will be delays in the video, and then all of a sudden the wireless network disconnects and shuts off even when my Acer wireless button is showing its active (orange led is lit). Usually I click on troubleshoot and it gives the network card and all goes well for a while then it happens again unless I close the video. Sometimes the adapter will be hidden and it will say my hardware is not found (CODE 12). What is going on?

I have made yet. I made a few adjustments. I went to the network & sharing Center > change adapter settings > change the wifi settings and I have checked this box (LLDP Microsoft protocol pilot) and disabled my ethernet (I used never she and doubt if I ever will be) well. Hope this solves. Blue microwave THX! Will follow your advice if it does not work

  • How can I completely remove windows xp pro network connection screen

Several months ago, I bought a used computer. It is a HP Compaq apparently set on foot for the tuition fees online with K12.org. It came with any disks, and I had an awful time trying to get the login screen for the computer network without having to use it. I managed to find and disable the Client for Microsoft networks according to previous research, but the screen would still pop up. I used the forums for info I would need to get the thing to only us force hitting an "OK" button so that we would not enter a password every time. Now the screen, which allows to popup, will not be shown or only appears intermittently during startup and Windows shows "Starting Windows" and everything crashes and hangs without taking me to the "Welcome" screen

This problem started last night. I'd really like to get this thing to use it without worry.

Any help you offer is greatly appreciated.

Hanging to the startup problem is certainly indicative of a larger problem.

In your case, I highly recommend that you completely reinstall Windows on your machine.  Most of the HP/Compaq machines have a recovery partition which will reinstall Windows on condition "as-bought.  To access this, when you start and the first HP or Compaq startup screen appears, you should see at the bottom of the screen a touch that will put you in the recovery mode.  Press this button quickly because you don't have a lot of time.  Follow the prompts to completely wipe your hard drive and reinstall Windows.  (Make sure that you back up all of the necessary files first).  If you do not have this key, and then connect to the HP site and download the manual for your specific computer model.

If you cannot reinstall Windows, then try a system restore to a point in time before that you had your boot-hanging problem.

Have you tried it yet?  This is for xp, but it should work.

You can also download Thinkvantage System Update and let it find your driver.

Sometimes drivers automatically do not install themselves.  You will have to perhaps go into Device Manager and manually update the driver.  Do not let windows, search for it, that it points to the folder where the driver got downloaded.

  • Vostro 460 found network card Code 31 need to reboot 3 to 4 times

I have 10 Vostro 460 s, network cards themselves not at startup.  You must restart the systems 3 - 4 times to get Windows to find network cards.  All the drivers are up to date.  This may be related to a Windows update, because the machine were very good for a month or two until an update is released.

We have the same problem.  3 of the 11 Vostro 460 lack of NIC I totally agree with jason629. Call Dell for a new MB or get a new network card. I spent hours and hours to try to update the bios/driver, restart, unplug, reset MB, shaking. I ended up getting new network cards.

Disappointed. Quailty of Dell is downhill.

  • Satellite Pro L630-12: the Ethernet controller v v. WLAN network card

    Basic questions:
My Satellite Pro L630-12F has (A) an Atheros AR8151 PCI - E Gigabit Ethernet Controller, and (B) Broadcom 802.11n Network Adapter.
Toshiba continues regularly informing me that a Wireless Lan Driver update was released, which I need to install.

First question: is Wireless LAN Ethernet controller driver or the network card?

I have check the versions on my machine of both (A) and (B) with the PC diagnostic tool and find that (B) is the latest version (5.60.48.35) and (A) is a very old version (1.0.0.26). I download the latest version (9.2.0.316.0) of "Atheros Wireless LAN Adapter" for my machine from the Wireless LAN Driver download page (Windows 7 (64)) and run the file. But, everywhere I look, my machine continues to say that the version of (A) is (1.0.0.26).

Second question: am I update the Ethernet Atheros controller when I download and run the Atheros Wireless LAN Adapter?
If Yes, then why doesn't it show the latest version information?

Sorry for the basic questions, but I found no explanations in various forums on the difference between 'ethernet controller', 'network card' and 'Wireless LAN' after searching several times. I'm afraid that Toshiba keeps informing me that I don't have the latest version of the wireless LAN driver despite my efforts to follow their instructions.

    > First question: is Wireless LAN Ethernet controller driver or the network card?

Ethernet controller can be both; WLan and LAN in your case I guess that WLan is Ethernet controller, it would seem if the WLan driver is not installed

Your laptop L630-12F seems to bear card Broadcom BCM94313 WLan and the driver can be found here:

    > Am updated the Ethernet Atheros controller when I download and run the Atheros Wireless LAN Adapter?

    This is driver LAN!

I have a similar problem. The text of presentation for the Satellite Pro 4600 says 'model of communication center Mobile with wireless built-in on all Intel® Pentium® III, LAN module card integrated 10/100 Ethernet NETWORK and international integrated V.90 data/fax modem'. Mine is a model of the Pentium III. Operating system is W2K fully patched.

I used the interface NETWORK built-in Ethernet and modem V.90, but so far never had the opportunity to use wireless. The wireless on the left side switch produces a light. Should this model use a wireless PC card? If so, where would be a?

  • Satellite Pro L10 - wireless network card is not detected in Win7

If I install the wireless driver from the download on XP site, no problem.

  • Impossible to install the wireless network adapter TP-Link on Windows XP Pro error "insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service"

    Hello

OT: I can not install my wireless adapter TP-Link on PC under Windows XP Pro. I continue to receive messages from "insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service" after each reinstallation
I had this problem since I moved into my new house two weeks ago. To my old place, my pc is connected to my router via a network cable, so everything was fine and dandy. However, to my new place, with a network cable is just not possible, so I use a usb wireless adapter to connect. I bought a TP-Link Wireless N USB Adapter (model TL-WN727N) and I can not installed.  First, I installed the software using the CD-ROM of resources which is come with the product then connected the adapter wireless on my usb port at the back of the pc. It detects the device very well, but when he wants to install the driver of this message displays "an error occurred during the installation of the device. Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service". When I opened my device manager, a yellow exclamation mark under Network - 802.11 n WLAN cards there. In this window, I tried:!. the driver update (latest driver same downloaded of the site Web of TP-Link) 2. Disable the device (nothing happens) and 3. Uninstall (which I just can't because another message "failed to uninstall the device. The device may be required to start the computer"is displayed). All three failed to install my wireless card. I am out of resources here, so any help is greatly appreciated.

2.95 GHz, 3.25 GB of RAM

  • Windows XP Pro SP3 slow navigation and performance of the Internet network

I am running a Windows SBS 2008 domain with 70 clients - many of which are Windows 7 Pro (and not affected by performance problems) and other clients are Windows XP Pro.  Recently, apply 2 updates to all Windows XP clients to a problem of double authentication with RDP Server 2008 platform - two updates are http://support.microsoft.com/kb/969084 (install the RDC 7.0 client upgrade) and http://support.microsoft.com/kb/951608 (adds the registry entry in Windows XP to enable CredSSP).  Now, the patches of handsets allow RDP clients to Server 2008 platform and enter the credentials of the user only once.

However, given that these updates have been applied, about 7 of 20 Windows XP clients are extremely slow performance when searching for network resources (sharing drives, Outlook / MS Exchange and Internet browsing synchronization).  Not sure if the 2 patches are coincedental or related.  I tried rewriting changes from two patches, drivers NETWORK card and even tried to replace the NETWORK adapter with new ones.  No change in performance.

However, can I uninstall / reboot / reinstall the Client of Microsoft Networks and clients perform as expected.  Over time (sometimes), the problem reappears.  I have been through the event logs and don't see any errors that indicate a failure to communicate on the network.  All clients receive assignments IP from the DHCP server and updates are managed via WSUS.

Ideas or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
