Windows 7 Pro sound got scratchy - map its Realtek AC97

Laptop: Toshiba Tecra A4

OS: Windows 7 Pro (updated with a clean install of XP)

Sound card: Realtek

Pilot: Latest Realtek available, 6305

I've upgraded to Windows 7 with a clean install. The sound card worked perfectly until 3 weeks ago. Now, the sound coming from the speakers is scratchy (whether during playback of an mp3 file, a video file or a cd/dvd playback). When you use headphones, the sound is perfect. The last audio Associates download was the Real Player Cloud software and the Quick Time Player. Windows has also several updates.

I uninstalled and reinstalled several times the Realtek sound driver. No solution

I uninstalled Real Player Cloud software andQuick Time Player. No solution

I ran Microsoft troubleshooting. No solution

I used AVG to clean the registry after all the Nations United-installs. No solution

I tried the Realtek XP driver. No solution

Any suggestions? Attached a Direct X diagnostic card

    Hello everyone,

After I changed the OS on my Satellite m40x.

My sound card does not work.
I have downloaded the driver of sound-sm40x-xp - 510005740t .zip. It detects unknown multimedia Audio Realtek AC97 Audio device, but it is marked with a! and he said:
Windows successfully loaded the device of this hardware, but driver cannot find the hardware device. (Code 41)

I'm sure that the device is working because when I try to disable it in Device Manager, I hear a beep warning me that I have her will deactivate.

    Hello Val

    Please check this document http://support.toshiba-tro.de/tools/Satellite/sm40x/win-xp/install-sm40x-xp-na.zip

Please install your unit following this statement of facilities. It is very important that all the software components are installed in this order.

  • DriverMax update drivers. Among the updates was for audio and subsequently did not sound. Soundcard (?) is Realtek AC97 Audio, XP Pro 32 bit SP3

    original title: no sound

I used drivermax (for the first time) to update the drivers. Among the updates was for audio and subsequently did not sound. I tried to restore to a date backup earlier, but without success. My soundcard (?) is Realtek AC97 Audio, XP Pro 32 bit SP3

    Bad move!

PC manufacturers sometimes 'tie' in the drivers for their machines so that the only reliable method to update either directly through their Web sites. DriverMax will detect your audio device and go to Realtek to obtain the driver. Not the solution, unfortunately

MS Update also not as he says, is up to date...

Go to the website of the manufacturer of the PC/laptop and find the support page for your machine. Download the audio drivers from here and install it.

If it is a machine that you have built yourself, go to the website of the manufacturer of the motherboard and do the same thing from there.

    See you soon,.

  • Cannot get Windows XP Home Edition for a mapped network drive / share on a computer of Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

I constantly tried to use the "NET USE" syntax to get a Windows XP Home system to keep & share mapped network drive on a Windows 7 Pro 64-bit of the system and nothing I tried or worked on ANY blog. I can map the current network through made normal drive right click on 'My computer' and then provide a designation of drive letter with the correct path and have had great success using the function "connect using a different user name." However, even with the box checked to re-connect to the opening of the service is WORTHLESS! I made a lot of attempts to use the Net use syntax to create a batch file to overcome this non-functional raw application. I would really appreciate someone who actually had this issue resolved and work. I have looked at all the Windows files on the XP machine, searched the registry about a possible switch, which could make the necessary changes and have made all necessary changes on the Windows 7 system to accept the mapped network share. Help!

    Hello

Since you have a network with different OS' I hope that Win 7 is configured to run on asnetwork work.

If evry thing is configured properly it can be a problem of how your router keep information network. With the help of Staic DHCP or IP static on computers could help solve the problem.

Just in case you need to reconfigure your network.

    ---------------

Win7 when configured on the peer-to-peer network has three types of configurations of sharing.

Group residential network = only works between Win 7 computers. This type of configuration, it is very easy to entry level users to start sharing network.

Working network = fundamentally similar to previous methods of sharing that allow you to control what, how and to whom the records would be shared with.

    Public share
= network Public (as Internet Café) in order to reduce security risks.

For the best newspaper of the results of each computer screen system and together all computers on a network of the same name, while each computer has its own unique name.

Make sure that the software firewall on each computer allows free local traffic. If you use 3rd party Firewall on, Vista/XP Firewall Native should be disabled, and the active firewall has adjusted to your network numbers IP on what is sometimes called the Zone of confidence (see part 3 firewall instructions

    General example, http://www.ezlan.net/faq#trusted
Please note that some 3rd party software firewall continue to block the same aspects it traffic Local, they are turned Off (disabled). If possible, configure the firewall correctly or completely uninstall to allow a clean flow of local network traffic. If the 3rd party software is uninstalled, or disables, make sure Windows native firewall isactive .

Since you have a network with Win 7 and the other version of Windows, you must configure Windows 7 as work network.

In the center of the network, by clicking on the type of network opens the window to the right.

Choose your network type. Note the check box at the bottom and check/uncheck depending on your needs.

  • Map its Turtle Beach Riviera not recognized by Windows 7

Well, I had this problem for a long time, a little, since last March. I had a Nvidia 9400GT video card, and the same sound card and I thought it was a conflict between the two. I fell on the map here, tried everything I have said and nothing worked. I just fired my graphics card because they sent me a new one, said the other tested ok, I've always had problems. I bought another graphics, Nvidia GeForce GT 610 card and still the same problems.
At the beginning I used to get a blue screen, I forgot what I did and that solved, but my sound was funny anyway... now, the only issues I have are my sound. I've made a landmark with 3DMark the other day and it showed my old graphics card driver was installed yet, I don't see how because I used Driversweeper and cleaned before installing my new graphics card. I therefore installed, the correct driver and my sound went completely out when I try to reinstall the driver for my sound card, it will say "you need to install Turtle Beach Riviera, there is no device installed" or something like that. There are drivers for Windows 7 for the sound card, and I checked the Microsoft Compatibility page and it is said, should be nothing special that needs to be done for the installation. I learned today that it is said the sound card is 5v and I have PCI 2.3, which is 3.3V, if I'm not mistaken? But I thought that the slots would be different if it was not compatible.

I have a Foxconn AD7A - S3.0, an AMD Phenom II x 4 965 processor, G.Skill DDR3 1334 8gigs, Western Digital 250 G SATA 600 hard drive, Lexmark 2400 printer and that's all that I am connected. I had a keyboard and a Microsoft Wireless mouse, but I thought at one point he was causing problems, so I got rid of them and now just a keyboard and a USB Logitech mouse.

When I look in Device Manager, Turtle Beach R Wave has a yellow asterisk next to her and when I look in properties that it says, "Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might be installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or maybe it's a malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52) ».  If I watch the 'Details' and open the drop down and look "Problem Code" it shows 00000034.

Oh, also a few months ago, I did an update on Windows and my sound came out, I did a restore before the update and I got my sound back, but it does not work as before with Windows XP 5.1 all the time should be. I had Windows XP before I installed 7 in March.

In fact, I just watched, and my previous post on this issue is still there: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-system/nvidia-geforce-9400-gt-pci-windows-7-constant/47cd46a4-6746-418c-ba2e-eda2bb13cedb

  • Map its ASUS Xonar DGX and Adobe Premiere Pro.

    Hello!

I bought an ASUS Xonar DGX soundcard. I'll work on audio especially with a good headset.

What technical considerations should I consider if I want to advance and and edit audio in first and other Adobe programs?

I read something on the Adobe system requirments and map its compatible with ASIO or Microsoft Windows Driver Model Protocol, but it was not very clear to me.

There are people who say that the Asus drivers are not the best and they recommend using third-party for asus xonar dgx to get drivers for best results. But they will work with Adobe Premiere?

How can I make sure that Adobe Premiere will make use of my sound card?

    Thanks ECBowen!
I don't plan to record sound using my computer. I just want to have the best possible sound quality when editing video or audio. Be it creation or hearing. As far I knew Asio drivers are used to reduce the lantency when recording audio.

  • Satellite A100 - no sound with Windows XP Pro SP3

    Hello

I'm the reconstruction of a laptop Toshiba A100-PSAA9A-10U038 with a new installation of Windows XP Pro SP3.

At this point, I have not all sounds (Yes, the volume is set to the top).

As this is my first post I covered I hope that most of the bases as with SP3 and I installed all the updates available from Toshiba and Microsoft - well at least, I guess I have. I downloaded the latest updates from Realtek who advised in a general forum but no luck.

Device Manager tells me that there are problems with a "PCI Device" and a "unknown device", and I assume that one of these two is the culprit.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

    Hi mate

I think that you have installed the driver of his evil.
    See this page:
    http://www.MyToshiba.com.au/support/notebooks/satellite/A100/psaa9a-10u038/download?OS=22

you will find all of the Win XP drivers for this model of laptop.
As you can see there are two different Realtek drivers:
    V Realtek Audio Driver 5.10.0.5253
    -Realtek ALC861 Audio Driver 5.10.0.5200

To my knowledge, you have the Realtek HD audio Manager.
But before install you the audio driver SP3 must be installed, it seems, that you did
However, the most recent audio Realtek driver can be downloaded from the Realtek page directly.
Select this check box, and then choose Manager Realtek HD audio for Win XP.

    Should work.

  • No sound, no new installation of Windows XP Pro SP3

We had to install Windows XP Pro on a laptop but the sound does not work.  Device Manager displays the details as an "Audio on High Defeinition Bus device" Audio and show details such as HDAUDIO\FUNC_01 & VEN_1106 & DEV_1708 & SUBSYS_15580663 & REV_1007\5 & 2F010DBF & 0 & 0001

There is a yellow question mark against this material on other devices, Device Manager. The properties indicates it is present, but no drivers were installed with Code 28. Using the results of option to reinstall the drivers in thwe Wizard saying that it cannot install this hardware because the required software is not found by the wizrad!

I tried some drivers, such as those from Realtek, but with no result.

    Any suggestion please?

(Note that it worked on Vista professional but which had to be replaced due to graphics card conflicts, solved with XP Pro).

No version of Windows already had a set of drivers included. There is too much material 'out there' for Microsoft to consider being completely comprehensive installation. In any case what are Microsoft doing about / hardware technology which is backdated by the version of Windows that uses any given individual?

Out of curiosity, what is the manufacturer of your PC? I've never heard of which did not provide for drivers.

If they do not respond to emails, http://www.pcidatabase.com/ can be useful. Your ID Fri and dev are respectively of 1106 to 1708. Use the drivers found in this way at your own risk. Set a restore point before installation. Don't let you be guided to use any driver 'detective '. If you use Windows Update.

As I pointed out, you may be missing other drivers too such as (but not limited to) chipset and LAN.

  • How can I get Windows 7 Pro 32 bit automatically connect to drives mapped to the startup?

How can I get Windows 7 Pro 32 bit automatically connect to drives mapped to the startup?

    Hello

It should connect as much as the other computers with their car are on the account users are properly configured, security passwords are defined and firewall do not block.

If the system is only yours and there is no need of local network security, enable the guest account on all computers, give them all the permissions and there will be less to worry about connection mapped, but local drive without security.

PS Ce preceding is based on cable connections. If the connections are wireless, it's another story.

Due to the maturity of the wireless adapter and their support through the OS, automatic connection could not occur.

Wireless is great, but most of us try to sneak out of it the uses it was not designed for.
