You cannot use a Windows 7 Professional anytime upgrade product key with reinstall media, it can be used only to upgrade license of qualification basis where you bought the upgrade in the first place (Starter, Home Premium).

The first thing you need to do is to get your key to Windows 7 Professional upgrade Express:

An e-mail containing your product key will be sent to the e-mail address associated with your Windows Live ID account or e-mail address you provided if you ignored the account configuration. Note: If you use an email tool or spam blocker spam filter, be sure that you can receive e-mail messages from microsoft.com.

What happens if I lose my product key?

If you lose your product key, you can return to

www.Windows7.com/GetKey and sign in using the "Sign In" link in the upper right of the page. This will allow to recover your product key if you have established your account with your Windows Live ID. If you do not configure a Windows Live ID account initially there is no record of your online product key. Check your e-mail since it is the only trace of your product key.

If your recovery partition is not available or damaged, you must contact the manufacturer of your computer, and request that a defined recovery disk you can use to reinstall Windows 7. They could practice a small shipping and handling.
    ------------------------------------
This is how the recovery partition is accessible to most popular brands...
For Dell, press F8 on the keyboard until the Advanced Boot Options menu appears on the screen.
For HP, press F11 directly after switching on the device

  • Re-install Windows 7 Professional after upgrade Express?

    Hi all:

I assembled a new computer in October 2010, by using the version of Windows 7 Home Premium system manufacturer.  I still have the product key and Win7-HP disc.
March 18, 2011, I upgraded the OS to Win7-Pro using the Express Upgrade feature.  Unfortunately, I have no record of it, because I don't remember which email address I used to upgrade.  I tried connecting the MS Store with different email addresses to try to find the order in the history of the order, but can't locate it :(
Yesterday, I decided to do a low-level format hard drive and do a fresh install of Windows.  I had another Win7-Pro disc lying around which I used to install the operating system.  However, I can't understand how to activate it.  The system will not take the Win7-HP original product key and I don't have a product key for Win7-Pro of the Express upgrade.
I can't find phone numbers with which I can contact Microsoft to know about it.
Suggestions, how can I find my product key for Win7-Pro so that I can activate this new install?
    Thank you!

  • What should I do with the ISO of Windows 7 Professional file that I downloaded. How can I install this?

original title: WHAT KIND OF FILE IS EN_WINDOWS_7_PROFESSIONAL_X64_dvd_x15 - 65805.iso

WHAT TYPE OF FILE IS: EN_WINDOWS_7_PROFESSIONAL_X64_dvd_x15 - 65805.iso

    Hello

Through my college, Microsoft had a complementary offer for students of computer class download software among several offered on the site: MSDN Academic Alliance Software Center Microsoft.

I tried to download Windows 7 Professional. But I don't know how to download correctly. We offer time-limited from Microsoft. Now, I'm not going to school, so my school can not help me with the download of related issues.

I have this file-(EN_WINDOWS_7_PROFESSIONAL_X64_dvd_x15 - 65805.iso) recorded on in the Temp folder on the C drive of my computer. But I don't know what the right file? Should I burn to DVD? File size is 41.4 MB.

Can someone help me with this? If this is the right file? If so, then can I've burn it to DVD and save it for later installation on my computer?

    Prompt response will be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    YM

By its name, it is the image ISO of the DVD Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (English language).

Depending on the size, (41.4 MB according to you), it is incomplete by many and of no use.

  • How can I transfer stuff that are installed on my laptop Windows XP to my new PC which has Windows 8 Professional about it?

I bought a laptop Dell XPS with Windows 8 Professional pre-installed. I need to migrate things that are on my laptop Sony Vio - who has Windows XP Professional - for the new laptop. Transfer cable that Dell sold me for employment does NOT in Windows 8... Then, how should I proceed?

Use the Windows Easy Transfer tool included in Windows 8.  You should be able to create a USB key that you can take your XP computer, collect files and settings and then bring them to the new computer.  See here:
