Windows 7 says that's not true, after being installed for some time. Does system restore or recovery.

I installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit for system integrators that I purchased from newegg. It has been installed since April / May and worked fine until now. I've tried some other solutions to this problem, and none of them seemed to work for me. Here are the diagnostic information.

  • the browser window appears frozen if he sat down behind other applications for some time, until the window is moved (i.e. scroll, or the window is moved around the screen).

It's almost as if I am interested in a picture of my firefox browser. If I click on tabs in the browser, add a new tab or try and change the url, it seems frozen. I can say that the browser is not frozen, because the only thing that changes if I click on the tabs is the title at the top of the page. Everything is frozen.

I did not notice this until FF 7 - ish.

If I disconnect the RemoveTabs add-on, the problem seems to disappear.
A week before, I have not had the problem.

The problem is simple - your AV don't like Vista, except if SP2 is installed.

Uninstall the AV and install SP1 and SP2, and then reinstall the AV.

  • In windows 10, Office apps are "not responding" after I installed Thunderbird SOLVED uninstall Office, reboot, and then reinstall Office

In no time after the installation of Thunderbird (a week after the upgrade to Windows 10), my desktop programs stopped working properly. For example, when you try to print a Word document, the program stops responding.

    The explinations or any suggeestions?

I was able to reach the Windows support and they had me uninstall Office, restart, and then reinstall Office. This seems to have solved the problem - without doing anything with Thunderbird.

I'm happy to use new Thunderbird SOOOOO. I could never work in Windows 8 and I hate Outlook. Phew!

  • The Satellite A200 display does not illuminate after being idle for 15 minutes!

    Hello!

I just bought a Satellite A200 1 - AX PSA6 and install Windows XP SP2 + upgrade of bios for winxp.
After 15 minutes of unactivirty (no not pressing the keys or moving the mouse), I set in power options in Control Panel - what must power OFF display.
After this time display is switched off (black)!

But I can't wake up my laptop!
I'm press any key or move the mouse, but the screen is always black!
    But laptop works!
I can ping and then by network or remote access connection.

One way to solve this problem:
    Laptop open and close!
A200 - "standby mode" and wake up with swithches on screen...

    Hello

It seems that Windows XP Home edition does not work perfectly on the new laptops designed Vista. Before you live your laptop try to change profile settings (extended battery) power and test the parameters of this profile.
Tomorrow I'll try to install Windows XP Home on my A200 and I'm really interesting if I even notice.

  • Sony Xperia z3 Turned off and will not charge after being immersed for about 5 minutes

As the subject says. My Xperia Z3 was submerged for about 5 minutes in less than a foot of water. He was in charge at first, then it started to vibrate. The model will thus: 1 (typical to indicate the load power) Vibration, then a Triple vibrator. At this point the LED on the phone turns off. Now he's going to restart this process again and again until the phone is disconnected. That submerged while the phone components were closed and did not open. As far as the damage is concerned, it is a crack in the root of the hair in the backglass and part of the bezel has started to peel off near the camera for unknown reasons. Once again this damage is very slight, and only someone who knows what the phone looks like new would see same. Any help would be apperciated.

I'm sorry to see it, but you will need to contact your local care Xperia

    Request a trial of vacuum.

The crack may be the cause of the water damage.

  • My new Windows 7/64 bit computer Dell freezes after being idle for 20-30 minutes

    Some basic information:
    (a) my laptop is brand new, I bought it less than a month ago and I started experiencing this problem in the beginning, very annoying.
    (b) my laptop freezes after inactivity for 20-30 minutes, I have to remove the power cable and reconnect it to restart the computer
    (c) the freezing happens daily when I have access to the Internet with Internet Explorer or Google Chrome, no difference between these two.
    (d) I have Windows 7 Home Premimum with the latest updates.
    (e) I get no error message when the computer freezes, it freezes only when idle, as when I leave my computer for 20-30 minutes
    (f) I ran the disk check, I did the clean boot and I have configured the power setting, but the problem persists.

Can someone help me? I searched this problem on the Internet and it seems to be a common problem with Windows 7. I've never had such problems with my previous computers with Windows XP and Windows Vista.

    This isn't a common problem.

  • I inadvertently uninstalled the clock of my gadgets. How can I get that back? It is not in my trash and, also, for some reason, the system restore at some point before uninstalling has still not successful.

    What is an "organization"?

To restore gadgets by default, which includes the clock using the following steps:

Right-click on an empty area in the Windows pane, and then click Properties

  • Windows Update says that my Windows Vista (32 bit - SP1) is up-to-date - but is not

I'm doing a fresh install of Vista on my desktop computer - using the original recovery of the DVD provided with my system. Installation went without a hitch and I am now manually check the updates of Windows. Had a devil of a time getting SP1 to install - it kept appearing as having been installed in my history of update - yet when I checked in system properties, there was no indication that SP1 had actually been installed. To overcome this problem, I downloaded the SP1 from Microsoft and installed manually. Now run the SP1 successfully and since I run Windows Update manually a few times and you have installed all available updates. Now, the problem is that Windows Update says that my version of Windows is "up-to-date" - and I know that's not true that I am yet to SP1 and the latest Vista service pack is SP2 - that Windows Update does not offer me because he sees my machine as being up to date. I tried to download and run the Microsoft FixIt tool and have done so several times. Whenever I run this FixIt, the results show that there are problems that need to be addressed and which are later 'fixed'... yet Windows Update continues by saying that my machine is up to date, when, obviously, is not. Machines confused!

Any help, guidance, advice, and/or marriage offers will be entertained and appreciated (just kidding on that last one). Thanks in advance!

    Mark

«Billybogs, thanks...» In fact, I found this answer even very late last night and had not yet had the opportunity to post my resolution. After trying FixIt after FixIt and even deployment of the tool was updated to Vista system, I still was getting messages from Windows Update saying that my system is up to date. Then I got the great idea to download and manually install SP2 - as I had also had to do with SP1 somehow. And sho' enough that did the trick. So thank you for the answer you provided - it was the same answer that I myself had discovered late last night. Thanks again!

You should be able to get SP2 from here: -.
