The problem is simple - your AV don't like Vista, except if SP2 is installed.

Uninstall the AV and install SP1 and SP2, and then reinstall the AV.

  • Remove the Windows Vista so that the upgrade can continue. He says that I can not upgrade both on the drive.

    I had to have my hard drive replaced and the company that made him put two versions of 32-bit and 64-bit Vista Home Premium on it.  Soon, I discovered that I was getting conflict on my computer and he discovered that the two were on the hard drive.  I'm trying to upgrade to Windows 7, but I'm at the stage where it tells me to seek answers on the removal of Windows Vista so that the upgrade can continue.  He says that I can not upgrade both on the drive.  I know the other option is to do a clean business, but I would avoid this possibility if possible.

    Hello

    The best way is to clean install and start over.

    In addition, it is not legal to have both installed version that the license is for a single installation.

    If it is a dual boot with 32 bit and 64 bit installed on different partitions, there would not have been the conflicts you would have never started in one or the other.

    See you soon.

    I bought Photoshop elements 13 and did not know that the Windows Vista operating system is not supported.  How to exchange the 13 elements of Photoshop for a version of Photoshop that supports the Windows Vista operating system?

    Adobe does not sell older versions of their software, the best you could expect if the software will not work on Vista is to get a refund.

    Looks like you may have a virus or other malware. Get your updated antivirus program and boot into Safe Mode. Note that some viruses can hide from your normal antivirus program, so you really need to scan in Safe Mode. To enter in Safe Mode when you turn on first, press F8 on every seconds until you get the menu, and then select Safe Mode. Then run a complete system scan.

    If that suits him fine. If this is not the case, use system restore to go back to an earlier date at the beginning of the problem. To run system restore, click Start-> programs-> Accessories-> System Tools-> system restore. Click on the box that says show more restore points.

    You can check the corrupted system files. Open an administrator command prompt and run SFC if the above does not help. Click START, and then type sfc in the search box, right-click to SFC. EXE and click run as administrator. Then, from the command prompt type sfc/scannow.

    Finally if all else fails, you can look at the rather cryptic system event log. To make, click Start-> Control Panel-> administration-> event viewer tools. Once in Event Viewer system log-click and scroll entries looking for these "error" with indicator see if you can find guidance on where the problem may be.

    I hope this helps. Good luck.

    I use Windows Vista and that you need to download SQL Server 2005 Express Service Pack 4. I get an error code 64 C help, please.

    Hello

    I suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps.

    Method 1: Try to reset components to update Windows from the following link, which would help you to install the updates of windows. http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/971058

    Method 2: If the problem persists, then try to set up your computer in a clean boot state, and check to see if the same problem happens.

    By setting your boot system minimum state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem.

    How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

    Note: After the boot minimum troubleshooting step, follow step 7 in the link provided to return the computer to a Normal startup mode.

    Method 3: Also try to install the updates manually from the link below.

  • AFTER YOU INSTALL SERVICE PACK 1 FOR WINDOWS VISTA, MY COMPUTER WILL NOT START SAYS UNATTENDED, DLL

    AFTER YOU INSTALL SERVICE PACK 1 FOR WINDOWS VISTA, MY COMPUTER WILL NOT START SAYS UNATTENDED, DLL

    Follow these steps to try to solve your problems of boot.

    Restore point:

    http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/using-Windows-Vista-system-restore/

    Do Safe Mode system restore, if it is impossible to do in Normal Mode.

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    http://www.windowsvistauserguide.com/system_restore.htm

    Read the above for a very good graph shows how backward more than 5 days in the System Restore Points by checking the correct box.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    If the system or Mode restore safe work not and you do not have a Microsoft Vista DVD, make a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
    Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.
    NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.
    Read all the info on the website on how to create and use:
    http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2008/Windows-Vista-recovery-disc-download/
    ISO Burner:http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html
    It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.
    You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.
    It is NOT a disc of resettlement.
    And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.
    See you soon.
  • We need a replacement for Windows Home Server that does not cost $700
    We need a replacement for windows home server that does not cost as much as a PC. 2011 is not really available and 2008 has compatibility problems, because it is based on XP and Server 2003. None of the motherboard manufactures will support XP (thanks to MS) and more recent SATA drives do not work in my motherboard more old.
