Windows 7 startup problem

Hello.

I have an SSD and a HARD drive. The SSD I have Windows 10 and on HARD drive I have Windows 7. I have to go to my part UEFI BIOS of motherboard DUAL GIGABYTE to choose what memory I want to boot from. I have recently installed windows 10 and he has no problems so far. When I want to start my windows 7, a blue screen appears and disappears quickly. I run the Startup Repair tool, but nothing happened after a long time if I booted windows 10. In windows 10, it says my basket on the G drive (partition win 7) is corrupted, you want to empty the Recycle Bin for this drive? YES NO?

What should I do? I have lots of important information on my HARD drive and win 7 partition.

Thank you and sorry for my English.

Yes you really should change the way in which you the dual boot

I use one of these devices

A location for the operating system and a location for the data for this os.

Then simply change the disks out for another operating system of 10-7-Linux

OK, my problem is that I start windows xp and it will very well the panasonic screen and past the logo screen to windows xp with mobile points. but after that it's as my processor is to expire or rather the light shines faintly and it just sits there. But if I leave it alone for about 15 minutes itll displays the login screen. I tried to connect and itll just stay there and freeze, and never cross the parameters of loading. ive tried to remove the drivers which are not signed for windows xp (same as Tho they have never had a problem before) ive also completely reformatted my computer. I don't know if it has nothing to do with it but ive recently partioned the other half of my hard drive that the processor recognizes (only let me use 150gigs on 350). also this issue initially started after I had to completely shut down my computer because it froze during a flash image, I was running gamebooster including some of the process essentials that run and monopolize the ram stops. but its never happened before. don't think it's important because I have completely reformatted my computer. and also im on the computer it works perfectly fine in safe mode

  • Windows Vista startup problems

    Hi all

I use an old laptop Dell Studio with Vista and I have problems trying to start. My suspicion is a questionable download has screwed the hard drive or I'm missing some drivers.

What is happening, it is start the computer to the windows startup page and that's all. This shows only the loading bar going around constantly. When I try to start safe mode, it arrives at crcdisk.sys file and stops. The diagnostic test gives a pass for everything except the hard disk, to whom he gives the error code 2000-0146.

Anyone has any suggestions on what to try next? If I can find the CD I'll try a system reset but was hoping to save the files that I have on my hard drive. Or reinstall the drivers would be worth?

    Thanks in advance :)

    Hello

A download will not destroy the hard drive, while the age will be.

That the error code 2000-0146. When you use the Dell diagnostics indicates a hard failure/failed.

  • Satellite A660 - Windows 7 startup problem

Hi, I have I think the biggest problem I have ever had. I have the Toshiba Satellite A660. I have Windows 7 ultimate 64-bit (just to know.) Computer laptop freezed so I pressed to shutdown (stop) to close.

Then I tried to start it but I saw only "starting Windows" for more than an hour... When I tried to use the repair disk I saw the Green loading bar only (such as loading windows XP) but nothing happened again. So I tried to use the installation disc, but I get a "windows start" and nothing happened, even with a USB tip.

    Could someone help me?
    Thanks for all the posts.

I understand that your computer was working and running W7 64 bit.
You can or you looked in the BIOS? I don't know what you can view/change but is the HDD displayed and if memory is reported?
If you use the drive of W7 or reinstall to start the computer drive can you get to the screen install Windows and select "repair your computer". If you do not see this screen, you will need to make sure that the DVD or USB is the first boot device.

Return to this stage for more ideas or google for something like "windows command prompt repair 7.

  • HP Mini-250 2000: Windows 7 startup problem

My wife has this laptop, purchased in 2011 (with Windows 7 Starter installed), so much more under warranty. Something is which means that it was not possible even to enter Windows at all. We therefore ask the services of a professional. It solved our problem, but at a price! Although told he would need to reinstall the version of W7 Starter, because anything more sophisticated gave rise to an extremely slow operation, he chose to install Home Premium, with predictable results. Calls for this society have remained, despite requests to the ring, so it seems I'll have to do the work myself, because I really should have done in the first place, but domestic management refused permission.

I understand that W7 Starter is now Microsoft unobtailable, I take my chances with a web dowlnoad from another source, but I've still will of course need to know the product key, would have HP beable to help with this?

Recently, my HP G72-B60US, is unable to boot. The window manager start Windows displays "unable to start Windows. To solve the problem:

    1. Insert your Windows installation disc, and then restart your computer

    2. choose your language settings, and then click "next".

    3. click on "Repair your computer."

If you do not have this disk, contact the manufacturer or computer of your system administor.

Because the laoptop was out of warranty and the computer is unable to boot, I'm unable to create a recovery disk. I have two questions.

    1. is it possible to download a free relocation to the Windows 7 home page to start my computer?

    2. When do reinstalling the operating system, I have to wipe back all in this situation? If not, how to reset the operating system without wipping on all data?

    Thank you for your response.

I solved the problem using the F11 key. The correct procedure for the relocation of the OP suggests, first try the F11 key. Moreover, the Dell PC Restore appears F8 key. The user should remember the key to the recovery of the PC.

  • Windows 7 startup problems (I should go to Windows 10)

The title says it all.  I had difficulties from Windows 7, and I was wondering if it would solve the problem to him complete the installation of the new Windows 10.  The message I get when now is one where it is said that the recommendation is to check or repair drive C or start normally.  So far I could treat the computer along and start normally, but I fear that time is limited with this tactic.  I tried to allow the computer to do the analysis and automatic repair, but to no avail.

I hope that the installation of Windows 10 will be the solution, but fear it can only complicate the already ongoing issue.

  • For Windows vista: Startup Repair couln t repair problem

I am trying to repair a laptop from a friend, but I'm new to this kind of thing and it's a problem starting. I don't think I have a hardware problem because I have the video but I can't load the operating system and I ranstartup repair, but he could not fix the problem. I received this message:

Startup Repair cannot repair this computer automatically

    Signature of the problem:

    ""10: 0.

The problem started when my friend has installed updates, unfortunately I do not know what they are, and she said that she did not bring any modification other than recently. If you need more info I can try to help, but I'm kinda at a loss of what to do something without possible srewing up.

What is the startup problem?  Are there any error messages, and if so what is the EXACT text (including all codes)?  Which version of Vista is?

Do you know when this problem started?  Try a system restore to a point in time BEFORE the problem started.  Here is the procedure: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-system-restore/.  Don't forget to check the box to show more than 5 days of restore points.  If the first attempt fails, then try an earlier point or two.  NOTE: You will need to re - install any software and updates that you have installed between now and the restore point, but you can use Windows Update for updates.

If this does not work, try to start in safe mode (repeatedly hit F8 key so that the start and go in safe mode with networking).  Then we will check some of your system files:

Go to start / all programs / accessories / command prompt and right click on command prompt, and then click Run as administrator.

Type sfc/scannow, go and let it run.  It will scan and try to correct some of your system files.  If all goes well he comes complete with no corruption, it could not repair (if it has these post of corruption here or try to analyze it to find the problem or files using http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928228.

While in the command prompt, type chkdsk /f /r and enter and let it run.  It will scan and try to solve any corruption or bad sectors on your hard drive and remove especially as a cause.

If it does not, then thanks for posting any repetitive error message in Event Viewer on startup (Start / Control Panel / administrative tools / Event Viewer).  Here's how to use Event Viewer: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic40108.html.

If this does not work, you will need to do a repair/system upgrade using the Windows Vista Installation disc authentic (you own or that you can borrow from someone).  Here is the procedure: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/88236-repair-install-vista.html.  Although this will not affect your data, settings or programs, you should always back up your data before you start just be on the safe side. If other procedures do not work, it is almost certain to work.  You can have a lot of updates to re - install (including all you need to remove service packs).  If the version on system with SP1 or SP2 preinstalled cane and the disc is an earlier version, then you will need to do a slipstream drive as follows: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/151606-vista-sp1-slipstream-installation-dvd.html.

I hope one of these procedures can solve your problem.  If this isn't the case, after return and we will try something else.  Return message anyway so we know how it turns out.

    Good luck!

  • Satellite A200 - 23Q - cfixer window at startup

    Hey guys!
I hope someone can help me.

Whenever I turn on my laptop (I have the Satellite A200 - 23Q) when my desktop appears at one point it breaks and I get the "cfixer" window pops up saying that it cannot find the cfixer file, and there is also a date when the file is deleted (it's always today's date, the date when I have my computer on). On the bottom, I have to cancel, try again or restore. When this happened for the first time, I clicked on restore, but it happened again the next time I was starting so I guess it's a virus so since then, I always click Cancel. But it happens for 3 or 4 months now and it annoys me reallly. When I get rid of this window continues startup, load the bar side, bluetooth and other programs.

Help, please! Is it possible to settle this issue without having to reinstall the operating system?

    Thank you in advance!

    Hello!

If you reinstall ConfigFree utility that you can t do something wrong, but this .exe file at startup belongs to this tool and so you should try to reinstall.

Try it and post your result. Relocation of this tool only takes a few minutes and should solve your problem. :)

    Good bye

So I just paid the HP one and brought 3 days LENOVO Z50-75 it y a. the first Hp laptop, I had, had dns clients warnings in Event Viewer when you use wireless. Same thing on the new computer hp laptop. This problem still occurs in the LENOVO one too. These events started in Windows 10 for all laptops hp and lenovo. My computer laptop lenovo came with windows 10 in any case. So either it's a bug that should be fixed by a new update for the network adapter needs to be released. Computer laptop lenovo has Qualcomm Atheros the old hp laptop realtek the new computer hp laptop that was defective was and intel double wireless broadband and the same edition, DNS CLIENT EVENTS 1014 WARNINGS are still happening. This is definetley not my ISP fault because I replaced the router, more they found nothing on a week 2 diagnostics test on my internet. SO I just want to say lenovo that if there is a way you can fix this. • startup problem, this entry is normal?

Hi, I have a few annoying problems when I start my pc, I still get startup entries and I can't seem to find a way to get rid of them.
Ive tried to install Windows xp on another partition but I failed and now whenever I start my pc I get this entry at startup: "Installation of Microsoft Windows XP. If I don't do anything the pc will try to install windows xp, and I don't want that. I want to delete the startup entry.
I did a little research and I found out that I need to change the boot.ini file, but it has only one entrance of operating system on it. :
    [boot loader]
    Timeout = 3
    default = multi (0) disk (0) rdisk (1) partition (3) \WINDOWS
    [operating systems]
    "multi (0) disk (0) rdisk (1) partition (3) \WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional "/ noexecute = optin/fastdetect

Ive also tried msconfig - boot.ini - check all boot paths, but it says:
"" It seems that the next line in the boot.ini file does not refer to a valid operating system: multi (0) disk (0) rdisk (1) partition (3) \WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" "/ noexecute = optin/fastdetect" you want to remove from the boot.ini file? " "  .

And when I click on "Yes" Msconfig closed suddenly, no error message, no confirmation, no nothing.
Can you please help me understand this and remove "install windows xp" startup screen?
The operating system that the use of im at the moment (and I want to continue to use) is windows xp sp3 and its installed in the C: partition
Any help will be greatly apreciated! :)

Anyway, if I create a key USB bootable with the recovery console Xp can I keep the files that are already in my pc from this error "ntldr is missing"?
Thank you very much for your help!

Use a different USB key.  They are pretty cheap.

When you follow the directions to put the recovery on a USB Console, it must understand that to put a copy of ntldr on the key... but I would like to keep the one you have without changes, just in case.

  • Error Windows Vista Startup Repair

My HP PC was working great until yesterday.  My son worked on Microsoft word and trying to launch Mozilla Firefox when the PC froze on him.  He tried to restart but failed to start.  He tried to use the system to repair, but it failed.  Attempts to mulitple system restore function have not as well.  Trying to avoid wiping the hard drive, so I thought I'd post the error here and see if he had any suggestions.  Repairing the system fails with the search for the following bugs:

    Unknown error checking: f4 error checking.  Parameters = 0 x 3, 0x88d1a2e0, 0x88d1a42c, 0 x 82232650
    Unknown error checking: f4 error checking.  Parameters = 0 x 3, 0x88ce4d90, 0x88ce4edc, 0 x 82270650

The operating system is Windows Vista Home Edition.  I can't get into the PC via the mode without failure or any other means.  The only options seems to be via the command prompt, although I have not yet tried.

    All appreciated the thought...

    ·        Do a startup repair, boot from the disk Installation of Windows Vista genuine (or one that you can borrow from someone) or a recovery disc.  Here is the procedure: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html.  You may need to change the BIOS to do first the CD drive in the boot sequence to boot from the CD.  To do this, hold the screen that tells you the key F to push to enter the menu start or start of installation.  Push it quickly. Make the changes, save your work and exit.  Put the CD in the drive and reboot.  When you are prompted, press any key to boot from the CD.

If you do not have a floppy disk, you can make a bootable recovery disk by using http://neosmart.net/blog/2008/windows-vista-recovery-disc-download/ with burning software like: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html and, of course, a blank CD.

If this does not resolve the problem, try the following:

To run the Bootrec.exe tool, you must start Windows RE. To do this, proceed as follows (some does not apply if you use the recovery disk - but to be honest I don't know if it will work with only a recovery disc):

1 put the Windows Vista installation disc (or the recovery disk) in the disk drive, and then start the computer.

    2. press a key when you are prompted.

    3. Select a language, a time, a currency, a keyboard or an input method, and then click Next.

    4. click on repair your computer.

    5. click on the operating system that you want to repair, and then click Next.

    6. in the System Recovery Options dialog box, click command prompt.

    7. type Bootrec.exe, and then press ENTER.

Note If rebuilding the BCD does not resolve the startup problem, you can export and delete the BCD, and then run this option again. In doing so, you ensure that the BCD is completely rebuilt. To do this, type the following commands at the command prompt Windows RE:

    ·        bcdedit/export C:\BCD_Backup

    ·        c:

    ·        Boot CD

    ·        BCD attrib s h - r

    ·        Ren c:\boot\bcd BCD.old

    ·        Bootrec /RebuildBcd

If this does not work, try to start in safe mode (repeatedly, click the F8 key during the boot and go into safe mode with network - or do it from the command prompt on the drive).  Then we will check some of your system files:

Go to start / all programs / accessories / command prompt and right click on command prompt, and then click Run as administrator (skip this step if you are using the disk)...

If it does not, then thanks for posting any repetitive error message in Event Viewer on startup (Start / Control Panel / administrative tools / Event Viewer - if you use the command line, type eventvwr and enter).  Here's how to use Event Viewer: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic40108.html

Good luck and I hope this helps!
