  I bought a disc of windows upgrade 7 ultimate 32. The product key will work for an upgrade to windows 7 ultimate 64 installation? If it works, do I have a disk to upgrade to windows 7 ultimate 64 to install properly or can I use a standard windows 7 ultimate disc and do an upgrade installation?

  Additional details:
  I bought a University is a legal copy of Windows, is only 1 disc with 32 bits, no 64

  All the legitimate upgrade packages include 32-bit and 64-bit discs.

  The only exception is the purchases on the MS Store of a download.
