  If your BlackBerry is turned off the power with a white or black screen, follow the instructions below. The only indication of life may be the flashing red indicator light in the upper corner. Nothing seems to wake and Desktop Manager does not recognize that a device is connected.

  NOTE: If you do not display the list of applications mentioned in step 5 and instead to see the message "the Blackberry Desktop Software has no Blackberry Device Software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator', then you must download the Blackberry operating system for your support and your device.

  My latest lamp died with a JVM. I just replaced today and I want to retrieve my downloaded applications. After I restored the device of BlackBerry Desktop, any of my downloaded apps are there. I have a brand new 9860, together running 7.1.  I run the App World. He told me to upgrade.   I just all new BB Curve 8900 on Vodafone. Its the first BB I've owned and I seem to have a bit of trouble. When I try to download the App World, I get the following error message:

  "Device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support Blackberry App World"

  How can this be?

  OK then... interesting for Vodafone to push support far... Well, by I guess.

  So I guess that I change their instructions... rather than to remove an installed version of the AppWorld in the way they suggest, I suggest go to:

  Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Applications

  See if BB AppWorld is listed as installed. If so, highlight (but do not click) it and then press the BBKey and select Delete. If she wasn't there, then continue on these steps.

  Then do a batt pull reboot:

  With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.

  Then re - activate your THS:

  Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table > BBKey > sign up now

  Then re - send all the service books:

  This is my first post on a forum, so please, be gentle.

  I have a Blackberry Curve 8530.  Several months earlier, during a daily use, the screen would go black all of a sudden.  A battery pull would solve this problem for a while.  Finally, it has become more common.  Symptoms have changed (it seems that if I put the phone down too quickly it would reset), the phone turn on, then immediately go to a white screen where everything was undetectable by my computer.  I contacted my service provider and they said the phone was toast and (surprisingly) gave me a free ready to use for the duration of my contract (all information transferred via an old backup, so nothing has been lost) after that my new phone work I left my curve is connected to my office.  Yesterday as I was leaving I watched again once the phone, and the screen was white and telling me to reload software 507.  I plugged my computer to start the process and to my surprise, the computer has detected all of a sudden the phone and successfully upgraded the software.  Everything was beautiful, I exceeded the password stage and he would just start to recharge my information when the screen faded empty again.  I always free loan phone, so it's not a big deal, but it's so annoying as to what could be the problem.  Now the computer can detect is more the phone again.

  OK, I was looking for the forums and try the suggestions and I didn't chance... what I did my problem is compounded.

  One of my drivers brought me a phone this morning that says "App error 523" it is unclear what he does for her, I have recognized this fact and knew what he had to do...   OK, so it turned out to be the fault of fund managers... as soon as I uninstalled and reinstalled, I plugged the phone on him and he immediately offered to give me the software, I just reinstalled the operating system without a hitch.   I just bought a blackberry curve 8520 a week ago and everything worked well, until I tried to uninstall a free app I install appworld, it asked me to reboot. So I did and when restarting blackberry I had this on my screen "reload software 552. My phone got * bleep * ed so I had to go down to my BONES and then upgraded again to resolve the issue but the problem still persists today everytime I delete an application from my Blackberry and asks me to restart and I get this error after reboot.  How can I fix?   Yes, this is legitimate, don't worry I got it at Orange and I set the phone already, I got the version of the OS 4.x and I just upgraded to the 5.x a recommended and with this upgrade is to solve the problem. I have colleagues was a bug in version 4.x.

  Error 507 means simply that the operating system is not present on the device.

  Plug your 8900 to the USB cable and launch Desktop Manager > application again loader. He must recoognize the device, connect it and the installation process.

  I know that many people will direct me to previous discussions topics on this subject, but I can assure you that ive checked and scoured internet nothing works.
