Windows 7 Ultimate purchase

Dear users;

I want to buy Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, but I don't know the real price of it. I'm a little confused about the different prices.

Kind regards

Microsoft is selling more of win 7.  You will need to buy from a vendor like Amazon.com online

  • Questions before you buy Windows 7 Ultimate

I am deciding on the purchase of Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit on Microsoft.com.  But I have questions before purchasing the product.

    1. I want to download the full version of Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate, and I want to know is this Windows 7 with or without SP1?  If SP1 is included, so where to buy Windows 7 without SP1?
    2. Is this the version OEM or retail?

Question 1. Windows 7 Ultimate purchased from the Microsoft Store includes Service Pack 1.

If you need Windows 7 Ultimate without SP1, you can download it from the following link:

    64-bit Windows 7 Ultimate x 64 ISO

Question 2: Her or the product key determines whether it is a retail or an OEM license. So if you use a retail key, then it will be in the detail.

If the Vista Ultimate is a full retail product and then install it here.  You may need to use telephone activation, but this isn't a problem.

If it is a Vista Ultimate upgrade version, you must have an operating system that is valid for upgrade and without a preinstalled OS or a license for the new computer "legally" impossible to install the upgrade version.

  • Should what license I purchase to activate Windows 7 Ultimate not authentic?

    Hello community,

I would like to activate a full edition of Windows 7.

    Should what license I acquire?

Windows 7 Professional or Windows 7 home?

    Thanks in advance,

    Damien

Windows 7 Ultimate it uses own unique product key. So, you will need to buy.

You can find software OEM System Builder of dozens of online merchants. The current price for OEM Windows 7 Professional Newegg, for example, is $ 140. When I checked a few minutes ago, Amazon offered packages OEM Windows 7 Professional from several vendors at prices ranging from $ 101 to $ 150. When I checked earlier, a package specifically designed for reconditioned PCs cost only $ 50 for a 64-bit copy.

There is no technical limitation to prevent you from using OEM software on your computer, although this software only works for a clean install, not an upgrade. In the past, Microsoft has been remarkably inconsistent in his advice to clients on the question of whether this practice is allowed. (See "is allowed to use Windows OEM on your own PC? Don't ask Microsoft. »)

  • Clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate 64 - bit on Qosmio X 870

When I got my laptop (Qosmio x 870) I immediately uninstalled BONES because it was full of bloatware and installed a clean version of windows 7 ultimate 64-bit. After my installation I tried installing the drivers on my laptop, but some do not seem to work.

My VGA driver installed, but the windows experience index for my graphics is 5.5 which is much lower than it should be (if memory serves right it was 7.4 before I uninstalled the original O.S inflated). However, the biggest problem I encountered is the network driver. I installed all network drivers unique on the page of the Toshiba driver for the qosmio x 870, but none seems not to work. For some reason, the laptop thinks my wifi is disabled, I know that it is not (unless there is a setting in the bios that needs to be changed if not I don't know).

I really need some help here guys, if someone can me EXACT by the drivers I need this point would mean the world to me. Toshiba really should have a package of essential drivers, as most other computer companies have, it makes everything much easier for people who hate the bloated OS that comes with their laptop.

    > When I got my laptop (Qosmio x 870) I uninstalled immediately his BONES because it was full of > bloatware and installed a clean version of windows 7 ultimate 64-bit.
In my opinion this is the biggest mistake that anyone can do after the purchase of brand new computer. But you're not alone.
As a first step before doing this you create recovery discs, and I really hope that you ve done that.
Second, I can understand you if you say that the recovery image contains many pre-installed tips that you don t like, but you should not install version of the OS. No one force you to use all this stuff. You can remove all the system software and configure OS preinstalled on the way you like it.

And third, why you didn t post here and picked up some opinions until you started to install own OS? You might get some useful tips first.
You can install the version of the own BONE but installation of additional things must / should be made after the right installation order. Computers laptops Qosmio have more complicated platform/hardware features and drivers, tools and utilities must be installed on the right track if you want to have all the features.

Best thing you can do now is to reinstall the OS and continue to install all the extra stuff following the installation order posted by Lasko.

  • is my compatible Windows 7 ultimate to download the Microsoft Security removal tool

my windows is Windows 7 Ultimate copyright 2009 service pack 1... 32-bit operating system
Is it compatible to download the Microsoft removal tool and Microsoft security scanner because I tried to download it but I can't run it. What will make to run it?

You are in violation of the terms of the Windows license, you accepted when you installed Windows - and could be pursued by MS if they wanted.

You must purchase a legal Windows 7 Ultimate license and install this OR go back to the original OS with which the machine has been delivered (if all - of many machines in this area are sold free of any OS on the expectation that users will install their own choice.) The fact that your machine seems not to have a COA sticker, it seems be one of those).

Yes the two site you mention can help with malware problems - but it is unlikely, once they are aware of the status of your license.

McAfee would help - but if installation has already been compromised, it may be too late for such a solution. If McAfee was already installed at the start of your problems, it was ineffective, either you had not updated.

    Hello

There are free downloads of Windows 7, but you would need a product key to activate it. It is therefore of no use to you.

You should contact the manufacturer of your laptop, in your case, Toshiba and get the Windows 7 Upgrade in the time to take advantage of the offer.

    This is the upgrade Option:

How does the Windows 7 upgrade Option?

The Windows 7 upgrade Option is available through participating PC manufacturers on some PC and Microsoft on any purchase of packaged product Windows Vista. The Windows 7 upgrade Option applies to Windows Vista Home Premium, Business and Ultimate editions. Your upgrade to Windows 7 will be the comparable version: so you will get either Windows 7 Home Premium, Windows 7 Professional (upgrade to Windows Vista Business) or Windows 7 Ultimate, respectively. The Windows 7 upgrade Option program takes place June 26, 2009 through January 31, 2010. Some manufacturers may choose to shorten the time to upgrade Option.

    Unfortunately, it has expired.

For more information about the offer, please contact Toshiba.

    Hello

There is no free upgrade to Windows 7.

There was a special offer for this a couple of years back; but this offer has expired for a long time.

Before purchasing Windows 7, follow these steps:

Go to your computer / computer laptop manufacturer Web site and see if Windows 7 drivers are available for your make and model computer / laptop.

If this is not available, Windows 7 will not properly work for you.

Run the "Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor.
