  • Click-to-play is active, but the Flash videos still play automatically

    On my old computer (Windows 7, with Firefox 32.0.3), click-to-play stop Flash video to play unless I click on the piece of lego next to the URL bar. However, on my new computer (also Windows 7, with Firefox 32.0.3), Flash videos play automatically, even if the click-to-play is enabled. The part of little lego displays next to the URL bar, but when I click it, he asks me if I want to block Flash, not if I want to activate.

    I use a 64-bit version of vista and I can not get any flash video to play.  It shows that I have flash player installed, but it does not work.  When I click on the adobe link, which fills the video area it says that flash is not supported for 64-bit system.  I did something to my computer yesterday and managed to get the video to play, but he returned to does not after that I disconnected.  Help, please

    Hi Breeyear54,

    Welcome to the responses of Microsoft Windows Vista forums.

    Adobe has not yet a version of Flash for Vista 64-bit.

    It's the Adobe Web site:

    Adobe Flash Player not is not supported for playback in a 64-bit browser. However, you can run Flash Player in a 32-bit browser running on a 64-bit operating system.

    Reason

    Adobe is working on Flash Player support for 64 bit as part of our ongoing commitment to cross-platform Flash Player compatibility. We expect to provide native support for 64-bit platforms in a future version of Flash Player, Flash Player 10 now.

    Solution

    To use Flash Player to view Flash content on a 64-bit system, you must run a 32-bit browser. To run the browser 32-bit to 64-bit machine follow these steps.

    -Click Start > computer > C: drive > Program Files (x 86) > Internet Explorer > iexplore.exe

  • Some Flash videos will play not (e.g. uStream live)

    I have trouble to get some videos to play. None of the live streams on www.ustream.tv work. No more videos on www.mtv.ca, neither those on www.kelbytraining.com. They all used to work perfectly. Now, I just get a perpetual loading graph. They all work fine in Internet Explorer.

    I've read other threads regarding this and no luck. I erased my caches Macromedia and Adobe Flash Player in the %AppData%\protector.exe folder erased everything using CCleaner, disabled hardware acceleration in the flash player settings, disabled all my plug-ins, authorized connections incoming and outgoing in my Panda, disabled firewall firewall Panda entirely, updated my flash drive, update firefox... and nothing seems to resolve.

    Can someone please use your witchcraft to make it work again?

    Thank you

    Tried the new profile and off hardware acceleration. No luck.

    All entries in msinfo32 were MSAFD or RSVP.

    Tried the ping test in Firefox... WOULD NOT WORK!

    Tried in IE... worked!

    So, I went back to the firewall troubleshooting. This time I completely uninstalled Panda Global Protection 2011... AND VIDEO WORK.

    I decided to modernize the Panda for 2012. After installation, the video did not. After update, IT FINALLY WORKS! Everything seems fine now.

    Has clearly been a Panda problem and not a problem of Mozilla. Thank you very much for helping me!

  • Flash video stops playing after 10-12 seconds

    Not sure when this started, but the videos now only play for about 10-12 seconds at a time. No crashes just breaks down, no errors, and it's only video. I can jump to another point in the video, and it stops after 10-12 seconds from there. I'm on the latest Firefox with the latest version of Flash. I tried to uninstall Flash using the Adobe uninstaller program. I reinstalled with 10.3, 11.2 and later even more once without success. I turned off hardware acceleration, no luck. I manually chose the resolution of the video, no luck. I started in safe mode and activated the plugin Flash, no luck. In any case have ideas?

    I tried the other two, but the Middle, I had not seen. In this page, I found that the HTML5 video play at all. So I checked my display drivers, and they have been of 2011. After their update that the problem is solved, thanks for the help.

  • (Windows Vista) my page of video file realplayer does not open properly: the green bar at the top of the loading screen is not entirely

    I didn't have a problem until 2 days ago... I downloaded some new realplayer (flash) video files, but one of them seems to be a MPEG-4 file (.. all the files in my video file realplayer are flash videos)... this curious MPEG-4 file will not be deleted: when I try to send it to the Recycle Bin, he refuses to convert & go... In addition, the page of the video file realplayer full is not load correctly: the green bar at the top of the page never quite fully charged...

    .. I'm rather surprised that a file is nothing else than to flash video: my adobe flash player everything usually converted to flash format recognized before on my video page download realplayer... this file MPEG-4 all simply could not be downloaded correctly? Certainly, it does not play in realplayer format (all my other flash videos still play in realplayer, despite not fully loading the page video file of realplayer)

    I ran a review of the file Norton: Norton says that the file is new & untrustworthy... but on a more positive note, says that the file did not any suspicious activity...

    I did a complete analysis of the system of Norton, a Stopzilla anti-spyware scan & also an analysis of the registry... who say that I am clear... I also tried a system restore (with turned off Norton) who failed twice, so I went back to the last known good configuration using advanced startup... options that make no difference (..) I guess the restoration & configuration options are not going to make a big difference in any way, if these programs do not change or delete your personal files...)

    This MPEG-4 file would contain some type of malware unrecognized by Stopzilla or Norton?  Can I download another anti-spyware program and another scanner?

    .. or is it simply a coincidence that my video page realplayer will not open properly at the same time?  If it would open, would the file MPEG-4 immediately convert into a flash format & works normally?

    Thank you very much... I have tried a similar topic, but couldn't find anything... I would be very grateful for any help or advice you can give... Cheers, Ashley (burnageboy) Manchester, UK

  • Flash video question

    http://www.guygar.com/inception/fiction/index.html

    I have a strange problem!

    My flash videos (MP4) play smoothly while the video file is downloaded or I press play before the end of the download.

    BUT if I wait for the download complete and then press play, it ignores the part of the beginning of the video.

    Please can you explain this behavior?

    Thank you.

    PS: Try anoption in the drop down menu on the page and except "a dimond ball" I know is faulty, he attend my question.

    FYI: For some reason any conversion to FLV got rid of the problem! Thank you!

  • Fade in/out; resizing; Flash video on slides

    I am trying to remove the transition fade between slides. Even if I chose the slides always in "seamlessly". How can I remove this?

    Also, I tried to resize my project by entering the html code by setting the tab size to 'automatic '. I was hoping that this would make it bigger in my browser, but on the contrary it makes it tiny. How can I get the project to fill the browser?

    Finally, is it possible to have a link on a blade that when selected a flash video will play on the top of the slide? And after consulting, the user can close the flash video but stay on the current slide?

    Thanks for the help!

    Rick-
    Modification of the object, as opposed to the slide, the transition has been around.

    A link to the .swf worked by resizing, but quality takes a huge success, as ranging from 100%. Need to find something else out there.

    The rollover Sidelet object worked!

    Thank you.

  • Dear all, I can not play the flash videos from any website through firefox because it freezes, but when I run firefox as administrator, then it works fine (but Google Chrome plays all the videos normally.). I use Windows 7 & Firefox 7.0.1. Help, pleas

    Dear all,
    Firefox crashes when I try to play flash videos from any website, but when I run firefox as administrator, it works very well. (but Google Chrome, Opera & I.E9 video parts without administrator.) I use Windows 7 & Firefox 7.0.1. Help, please.

    One possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or limits Firefox or plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.

    Delete all rules for Firefox in the list of permissions in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

    Since I've upgraded to Windows 8 Youtube and other flash videos will not play smoothly.  When I press play, the video freezes on an image and the sound is fine but the image is locked for several seconds.  So if it starts to play, he is so rough its not watchable.  If I pause the video and let it buffer for a bit and press play again it works usually smooth for 3-4 seconds in the rough again goes.

    This is the case with IE, Firefox and Chrome.  My computer is a HP DV7 3060 64-bit with 4 GB of Ram.

  • Video Flash isn't playing, audio is fine

    Flash video does not play on my site, but I can hear the audio perfectly well. Video player interface is not visible either - blank space instead.

    I use Windows 7, Firefox 42.0 (also tried 43.0), Adobe Flash 20.0.0.235. I have seen a few similar questions here and here is what I tried:

    -restart and reinstall the browser;

    -deletion of cookies;

    -in safe mode;

    -Disabling hardware acceleration.

    Nothing helps. Is there anything else that can help?

    OK, after digging more deeply into my problem and tested in different environments, I realized that this isn't flash or firefox problem. The video player was inside a modal bootstrap and it - http://stackoverflow.com/questions/23709700/embed-tag-inside-bootstrap-modal-not-visible-in-firefox - helped me.

  • Satellite L50-B-15U - video Flash don't play no not because of Conexant Audio Driver

    Hello world

    I bought this laptop Toshiba Satellite L50-B-15U , and lately I have had this problem. Whenever I want to play a video on youtube, or most of the flash videos in browsers, they load and buffer, but used to play and are stuck at 0:00. After brewing the button refresh to several times, sometimes I can play a video as normal, but its similar to 20 times 1. I know that it's because of the driver audio conexant because with the standard microsoft driver, this problem does not occur, but the audio is * ty.

    The strange thing is, when I try to look up from my laptop on the Toshiba site to download driver, I can't find the audio driver Conexant for windows 8.1, only those for windows 7.

    So far I have tried:
    -Restart the computer
    -Completely remove the Chuck (reboot afterwards)
    -Reinstall the driver from the toshiba website (windows 7 a)
    -Try the other conexant drivers I found on the internet.

    CHROME: Video support and pads completely, does not start
    FIREFOX: Video plays, but no sound at all

    Help, please
    Geoff

    Hello

    According to specification for laptop, your laptop comes with Win8.1 64-bit which includes all drivers tested.
    Have you noticed this problem since the day where we?
    To be honest I can't imagine it, especially if that happen "lately.
    Maybe you have installed something, an update that might be responsible for this.

    Try to roll back OS a few days using the System Restore tool, just to check if the problem will be solved or not.

  • Problems with Flash video streaming in any browser (Windows 8.1)

    Hello.

    Since perhaps the last Chrome update (version 42.0.2311.90 m - I tried versions of 32 and 64-bit) or some 8.1 Windows updates (I don't know for sure), flash videos don't even start to buffer - they play only once the entire content is downloaded (or loaded into the reader of the site). Then, if I try to watch a video from a Flash Player based (like Dailymotion or Vimeo) interface, I have no streaming, and I have to wait a long time, watch a '1% ' or a wheel loading until the full content is available to watch.

    This is the case with all browsers, not just the Chrome (IE and Firefox too). I tried to update flash player (first version, 17,0,0,169 and then tried the beta version, a published April 14, 2015). No difference at all. So, I think that this could be a problem with the drive itself, or with some settings in Windows.

    So, lets go to the facts:

    -Happened all of a sudden no reason apparent - a day he worked, and he was not on the other day.

    -J' have the last version of every browser I use (Chrome, IE and Firefox).

    -My version of Flash Player is, currently, the latest version;
    -J' tried older versions of Flash Player. did not work;
    -This is not the case with HTML5, like Youtube video players, so I think that it is not a codec problem;

    -J' have the latest graphics driver nVidia. And it was happening even before I update the driver (I have a GeForce GTX 770);

    -J' tried to disable hardware acceleration on the Flash settings, nothing happened.

    -J' by default uses the Windows Firewall and defender. Tried to disable the firewall, nothing happened;

    -J' had looked all over the internet for the answer, but I can not find it. I already have all that Adobe troubleshooting pages told to do;

    -My internet connection is fine. It's a fast connection, and it's the wireless. I have several PCs connected to this network and video flash work well with them, that in this specific machine is not;

    -J' tried to uninstall flash player and install it several times with several different versions. Did not work;

    -Tried to disable as different versions of flash player on Chrome, nothing happened.

    The thing is, I can imagine that this might not be only a problem of flash player, but since this is the only problem with plugin, I, I thought you might have the answer.

    Thank you.

    Hello! It has been a while. If I could do the necessary research.
    First of all, thank you Jean-Luc for the answer.

    After the discussion, I discovered that it was not only not set buffer, but sometimes common downloads Flash videos too. Sometimes, I could see the download file only after being completely downloaded. So, at this point, I knew that was no more Flash video problems. Something must have been messing around with my proxy settings.

    I have fresh installed Windows 8.1 again. And I discovered that I had an app running in the background called "hora Buscapé na", which was a program automatically detect the best deals for products to buy here in the Brazil. I finished his task, and thing go back to normal, I guess. I tried to contact their support, but it's a maze to rethink the role of the contact.

    So, I'm sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for the help.
    I see many people with the same problem on the internet without answers, so for these people, there could be another application or process of screwing with your proxy servers.

  • Flash will not play some videos (under vista only!)

    Hello I am puzzled that flash will not play some videos

    (for example from dailymotion.com or canalplus.fr).

    The problem exists with the current version (10,3 r183)

    But if I try to downgrade or with v11 beta...

    On the same machine, I can also boot XP or linux

    where everything works as expected, but no dice on winvista

    (SP2)! I've also updated my nvidia display drivers

    and I tried to disable hardware acceleration and temporarily

    my firewall and my anti-virus, nothing helps.

    I see it with IE7/FF6/Chrome.

    All the operating systems are 32-bit.

    Note that some sites have very well (e.g. youtube)

    Can someone suggest something, please?

    Let's try the following:

    1. Close the browser windows
    2. In Explorer, navigate to the following folder: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\ (the best way to do this is to type %appdata%\microsoft\windows\sendto in the path of the Explorer bar).
    3. Remove the Macromedia folder
    4. Then, go to the Adobe folder and delete the folder 'Flash Player' inside.
    5. Finally, go to "c:\windows\system32\macromed\flash" and look for a file mms.cfg.  If it is present, please rename it.

    Once done, try those sites to reoffend.
