• Windows fax and scan without adding contact

  I use Windows Fax and Scan to send a quick fax to someone.  In the dialog box "New Fax", you can enter a name of my address book Outlook or to a phone number.  I would like to enter a name and a number for someone who is not in the address book without having to create a contact for them in the address book.

  The cover page editor allows me to insert the two {name} and {recipient Fax #}, so I expect to be able to enter this information when I send the fax.

  I use a laptop with vista service pack 2 and I tried to update windows via windows update on the recommendation of the support page from microsoft on how to unload a debugger. There are only three optional updates available, I forgot what they are and after restarting the computer the theme looked like windows 98 and my without wire might work, and also, I was still having problems with the game with the question of the debugger.

  (And Norton) McAfee applications are known to not uninstall (or upgraded) themselves. The 'remains' of McAfee may be cause of your problem.

  1. download the McAfee Consumer Product Removal, save it to your desktop tool: http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/MCPR.exe

  2. close all open applications (that is, anything with an icon on the taskbar).

  3. click right on the file saved in #1 above, and then select run as administrator to run the utility. DO TAP not your keyboard until the race ends, then restart.

  4 test cycle.

  NB: If the application pre-installed McAfee subscription or free trial period has expired before you install Threatfire, the latter may not have installed correctly and can not work correctly since you installed it.

  Just installed a pix515e on our campus of satelite on our EXTENSIVE network. What should I do now to get through the firewall to see all Windows servers and workstations and be able to the Terminal Server service on the servers?

  Simply create an access list entry to allow port 3389 to your server ip address you want to Terminal to. Once this make sure the access list is applied to the external interface.

  access-list 100 permit ip any any eq 3389

  access-list 100 deny ip any one

  Access-group 100 in external interface

  My wife just bought a new computer Dell laptop with Windows 8 is installed. The strangest thing is happening... When you work in the modern IE app, it will be random jump screens either office, a nice word document, start menu, etc. as if she had deliberately mounted to the upper-left corner (using a CPU without touchscreen) and scrolls through its list of apps and chose to go. The problem is that she does not have it and even if the cursor is in the middle of the screen it will at random times simply hop applications without no reason. I am confused? Only happens when working on the side of the start menu in the computer... can not reproduce the problem on the side of the office. Thoughts?

  If you have a Touchpad with touch screen emulation features that no matter where the pointer is on the screen.  What is the place where your finger touches the touchpad.   For example, the following information would explain your description of symptoms so far: touch screen emulation is active in a touch pad, finger hit the left edge of the Touchpad, App switching is enabled and when I drag from the left... is enabled.  At least a MUF app is open as well as desktop applications.  Result: app switching (but not 'for no reason' )

  From what I see, Apple does not screen repair for any older than the iPhone iPhone 5. I don't see off-warranty, replacement cost for 4 on their page of repair, but I'm figuring you would spend at least $200 to get a new.

  Would be better to see if your cell phone operator has the options of upgrade for you.

  On the one hand, you cannot uninstall Safari.  It comes as part of the operating system.  So, I don't know what you've done or what you think you did, but this is not that.  Could you explain more by what you mean with "I get reimage opening in a new window?  You can post a screenshot of what happens?

  a. you are able to install some other updates?
  b. do you receive error messages when you start Microsoft Office Outlook?

  If you have a problem only in the Office Update installation, then I suggest you to report your problem in the Office Discussion groups. If not, try download office update from the link below and install it in clean boot mode.

  To enter the mode of clean boot of your computer, follow these steps.
  1. click on start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.
   
  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.
   
  2. in the general tab, click Selective startup.
  3. under Selective startup, clear the check box load startup items.
  4. click on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable all.
  5. click on OK.
  6. When you are prompted, click on restart.
  7. after starting the computer, install the update.

  Windows 7 only WILL NOT allow you to share files without a password, it's all just a common sense safety requirement.  It of a very bad practice to run your Windows installations with a null value, a password, give your facility a valid password.

  The simplest around your problem is to create an account with the same names and passwords on each machine and so typed the password when the connection is too a problem allow AutoLogon on the machines.
