Windows 8 Applications Store does not update

I had my computer since December. It's a Sony VAIO laptop preloaded with Windows 8. I had no problem with the store until recently. If I tried to open it, it would just go to the start screen and stay there. I was told to clear the cache of the store, so I did. I can now use, but my applications will not update and I can't, either. Two errors happen when I update; "Something has happened and this app could not be installed. Please try again. "Error code: 0xc80003f9" and "Before you can use the Windows store, you must restart your PC to complete the installation of an update." There is no such update when I restart or shut down my computer. In the section 'Your applications', he said, "we will have some problems to the list of applications you have. Please try again later. "How can I fix? I am a technical person who is skilled in the use of the computer, but I think that it is a problem with the store servers.

  • Windows 8 app Store could not update the app with error code 0 x 80070057

    Hello

I have an application that I downloaded from the App Store of Windows 8 (RTM version), who has recently had an update, but Windows Store could not be updated and returned the error code 80070057 0 x.  But after the update failed, Windows Store still lists old as installed APP and calls the updated application.  I tried reapplying the update but it keeps fails with the error 0 x 80070057.  I tried to look for ways to uninstall it, but the Live tile has been removed from the home screen (not listed under all the Apps either), so there is no way to uninstall it.  Now I'm stuck with Windows Store perpetually asking the updated application.
Does anyone know how to uninstall a Windows 8 application without the Live tile?  Thank you.

Open Explorer and in the navigation bar, type \AppDatausernamec:\users\

Replace username with your actual user name, for example c:\users\debbie\appdata

It is a hidden folder, you cannot display it by default unless you authorize the display of hidden folders.

  • Pavilion g6: Windows 10 App Store does not

I m using Pavilion g6 recently it update Windows 10. Everytime I open App Store windows prompting one box 'Server tripped' we all have bad days & error code 0x80072EFD, where you need it. CV: 8gF1kvYe8UmQ3pgF it's so panicked so can u please help me what in fact I have to do to properly run the App Store? Thank you

    Hi @NavinVerma ,

Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A place where you can find solutions for your problems with the help of the community!

I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question about your HP Pavilion Notebook g6 and the error code is 0x80072EFD appearing as you try to use the App Store 10. Here is a linkfrom Microsoft which indicates there is a required update.

You can try to use theWindows Update Troubleshooter to fix updates that do not come through Windows 10.  Please restart the laptop twice to make sure that all updates are completed!

Here is a document that shows how update the drivers that do not work correctly with Windows 10.

If you run a virus protection program, try to disable it temporarily.

If that doesn't help, do a right-click on the app Store of Windows and then uninstall it. Before reinstalling.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you.

  • Updates App Store does not update status.

"OSX El Capitan Update 1" shows that it's been updated twice in the last 30 days (don't know why he's here twice), but remains in the available updates section. "." It will download again and again but not install.

Is this a bug, or is my system corrupted somehow?

It would be nice if it worked correctly, so I would like to know if I really needed updates or not.

Ads repeated in the list for 30 days often mean that the download is not completed.

To check go about this Mac, then report system, software and facilities.

Your system is probably fine, it is just the App Store often loses connections.

Some updates are available through the Support of Apple Downloads pages

    Use Browse by product search.

    Apple - Support - downloads

Unfortunately not every update is here but it's worth hunting around.

  • Windows store does not open (windows 8)

So I've recently refreshed my laptop running Windows 8.1 and after refresh, he returned to windows 8. But now all gone metro apps and windows store does not open. When I click it, nothing happens.

I tried various fixes, nothing worked! Help, please! My main concern is to upgrade to windows 10!  Right now I'm stuck with windows 8

IM using the HP envy m6 laptop.

    Hi Alain,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

When you do a Refresh: Applications that you have installed Web sites and DVD is deleted. The applications provided with your PC and applications that you have installed in the Windows store will be resettled. Windows puts a list of apps removed on your desktop after you refresh your PC.

Because you want to upgrade to Windows 10, first, you need to update to Windows 8.1 of Windows 8 and then you can switch to Windows 10 Windows 8.1.

Please refer to: Update Windows 8.1 of Windows 8

Once you have updated Windows 8 to 8.1 Windows, please see the following article in order to upgrade to Windows 10 Windows 8.1.
