N ° Windows 8, or any other version of Windows, has never
includes Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, nor any other significant
application software. These programs must be purchased, either by
themselves or as part of Microsoft Office.

If your old computer running an earlier version of Windows, came
with one or more of them, it was because the seller who sold it
delivered as part of the package he has sold, not because that
version of Windows came with it. Suppliers of some, but not all, do the
even with computers of Windows 8 (but if they do, it is very likely that)
a trial version).

But note that Windows comes with WordPad. It is not really a
processor in its own right; It is more than a glorified text editor, but
It might be sufficient for your needs.

Click on the Start ORB (at the bottom left) then all programs thenAccessories then WordPad.

Microsoft Word doesn't not part of all Windows operating systems. You must install Word with its own installation disc.

If you want to save your Favorites and contacts on an external drive, it's fine.

Windows 8 comes with a word processor and spreadsheet?

    Hi Betty,.

Welcome to the Microsoft community where you can find all the answers related to windows.

Windows 8 is available in different editions and each has different characteristics. Microsoft office package that contains Microsoft Word and Microsoft excel comes pre-installed with Windows RT only. Although the Microsoft Office pack is not preinstalled in Windows 8 and Windows 8 pro, you can purchase Microsoft office separately and use it. You can buy Microsoft Office here:

  • I am a self taught pc user, I need to buy a word pro program can you help me

I have Windows xp and I need an aplication that I can create docs esp letters, how can I do for byuing right pls help

Before going to the load of the purchase of a program to make fair processing, you must really assess what it is you want to accomplish.

I would say start with a free software for example: http://www.openoffice.org/why/

At least, you can evaluate your needs.

If you decide that you want something more, then there are always Microsoft Word or Office for example (at a cost) as well as Corel WordPerfect etc. (at a cost).

It really depends on your needs and how you use the program.

We cannot really help you in the purchase of a word processing program, as we really do not know what it is you need, you know who.

So, start with the ticket of favor, see if it's all you need, and then check out the other options.

  • Basic word processing and security

I'm old 'Nat' and don't know much about computers, but I use my laptop Lenovo 2010 (Windows 7 Home Premium) to do a lot of email and writing/editing my creative writing. Over the years, I've used different Microsoft Office programs and also Norton antivirus, but they are too expensive for me now. I have also rebuilt my laptop if necessary using the button 'One', which brings back the laptop to its original construction.  I need to know if my laptop has any built-in basic word-processing program and a basic anti-virus program?  If this isn't the case, which would be an inexpensive way for me to get programs EXCLUSIVELY to edit my writing and e-mailing safely?  Thanks for help. Is that what you want sent to your Google Email?

If you have a Windows RT system - you Microsoft Office 2013 RT - including Microsoft Word.  Use it for your resume.

If you have a Windows 8/8.1 (standard or professional) system - then you could use "Wordpad" type something (with fonts and formatting) but it is not a very robust processing.  Something like Microsoft Office and LibreOffice would suite better (the latter is free.)

  • where can I find the windows vista Word processer and how can I connect it

where can I find and log into the word processer

    Hello

Word comes for free with Windows

Word is part of the office and must be purchased

    but Vista's Wordpad

To open WordPad, click Start , click principally made programs, accessories, and then click WordPad.

WordPad is a treatment basis of text which is included in Windows. A word processor is a computer program that you can use to create, edit, view, and print text documents. With WordPad, you can type letters, reports of book and other simple documents. You can also change the appearance of text, quickly move sentences and paragraphs autour and copy and paste text inside and between documents.

  • If I use the wizard to transfer settings and files on Windows XP, it will keep my Microsoft Office 2007 activation activation, or will I have to reactivate the program?

I just need to restore my default settings to get my games that I LOVE to play the work; It is a windows registry problem, I think. I have my last installation of my program installed now, and I don't want to have to buy the program again to re - install (Office 07). If I use the wizard, it will keep on, or will I need a new drive to re - install?

If you reinstall to factory settings, you will need to reinstall all the programs you have installed.
    You will lose all data
You must run MSUpdate before installing Office
You can re install Office as often as you want if its on the same PC, the worst way, you will have to use an online activation, and if it's a retail edition, you can install on any PC you own whenever you exceed the number of work PC allowed by your license.
It is not recommended to use QUICKLY to desktop settings
(I assume you have the cd/dvd as well as its key office)

Finally, what makes you think that it is a registry problem?

  • I connect my Canon camera, wiaacngr.exe opens a window asking me to select the program to start. But it offers only two options: M/S Office Word and scanner and camera wizard.

    original title:wiaacmgr.exe

I found a lot on the Internet about wiaacngr.exe not opening not or refuses to recognize the camera.  My problem is almost the opposite!   Whenever I connect my Canon camera, by USB, my current laptop (Windows XP Pro SP3 of v5), wiaacngr.exe opens a window asking me to select the program to start.  But it offers only two options: M/S Office Word and scanner and camera assistant, neither of which I want to use.  If I close the window...  Not much, but it's a nuisance.  I would be happy if she has proposed to launch work stations.  I then click on the box "Make this every time" and will never see the window.  Otherwise, I'd be happy to remove the program completely.  Can someone tell me how to achieve one of these?  S ' Please!

No split screen application is necessary. Just run each application in a window, not
