Windows 8 - icons of the CS6 Office showing as white icons with the green arrow
After I loaded standard CS6 64-bit on my DELL XPS 8, the Office file windows icons appear as an icon of white box with a green arrow instead of icons Adobe. All other icons appear correctly. I have Illustrator CS5 on my hard drive and before I loaded CS6 CS5 icons displayed correctly. Thank you in advance for helping me with this problem.
Hi Adam,.
I figured this out. I opened the default programs - Illustrator was missing a file type to associate with the program (why it showed the white icon with green bar). I assigned to the Illustrator file with the program Illustrator type. Turn it back on. Solved the problem... Yes!

This problem may be caused by an extension (possibly AVG Safe Search) which does not work properly.

When you enter a web page (for example, www.aol.com) I would normally hit the ENTER button on my keyboard and opens the Web page of aol. However, using Firefox 4.0.1 on my desk, I have to enter the webpage (e.g., www.aol.com) and then use the mouse to right click on the tab of the green arrow to the right of the address bar. This is not the case on my wife's cell phone, however. And it uses the same version of Firefox.

Hello guys,.
I bought a Blackberry "BOLD" from a few months ago and I've been to update facilities when my laptop turns off accidentally. Since then, when I turn on my blackberry, it does not show the normal screen. It shows a white screen with the following text:
BlackBerry 4.0.0.183, platform Options, Registered Messages. and when I click on Options, I get this error message
Error starting net net_rim_bb_options_app:Module 'net_rim_bb_spellcheck' not found.
What should I do? I really need my phone back. :-( Help, please! Thank you for your suggestion.
I tried: pull battery, uninstall the Desktop Manager and the soft reset and it still does not work. :'-(
Sandy.
Ahhh... particular case then. What you need to do is to get the operating system that you want to:
http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
And then use the JL_Cmdr utility to destroy what is on your device:
And then you should be able to reinstall your operating system.
Good luck... and this can be very difficult... Be very patient with you as well as your devices...

I went on the Mozilla site to download to my Mac. I read the excellent instructions, but cannot locate the green arrow to start the download! I did not remove accidentally the arrow, as it was never there to be seen. I use Safari and don't have Firefox on my MAC (to my knowledge).
Thank you
PS: I clicked on the 'automatically add' and downloaded the file, but when I tried to open it, I get the message "Safari cannot read this file. Cool, huh?
See how to install Firefox on Mac.

Open the Firefox disk image file and drag the Firefox program into the Applications folder on your hard drive.
Do not double-click the Firefox to run from the disk image, but instead, drag it out of the DMG file. -
If I type a url and press on enter it does not find this website, I have to click the green arrow at the end of the url box.
If I choose a url in the url box drop he won't find the web site, I have to click the arrow on the green at the end of the url box for that to happen.
Had the same problem. Then advise and traced my problem of "AVG Safe Search 10.0.0.1390. Normally, it would have disabled (not compatible with 6), but I also add on compatibility reporter 0.8.7 allowing him to run again.
Disable AVG Safe Search and everything was OK again (for me)

Since the last update, my address bar does not work well, or rather "enter" does not have to navigate to the selected location.
I have Windows XP, it's not the "awesome" bar the menu and tabs and all all look the same as before the upgrade. It's just that the Enter key does not work in the address bar more.

Hello
- You use Internet Explorer or another browser?
- What version of Internet Explorer you are using?
I suggest a right click on it and select Remove from the list. -
For some reason, Firefox stopped responding to the ENTRY in the address bar. Also choose a drop-down list page history does not to load.
In short, to open a page I have to choose or type the address and then click the green arrow. Why? He was always sufficient to press ENTER or select with the mouse. This problem may be caused by an extension that is not working properly.

Why is the blue downloads instead of green arrow? How can I change this back?
I am quite frustrated with FireFox now.
If I wanted to Internet Explorer, it's what I ran. I find myself be partial to the classic theme - the classic buttons and classic colors.
Having to constantly download addons and settings and constantly update them - just to face to undo changes made by your development team at the GUI is more painful.
Having said that, the download formerly arrow GREEN - documented as green on a lot of websites - changed abruptly of LIGHT BLUE.
Apparently, someone out there has decided that a BLUE arrow was superior to the GREEN ARROW and that FF will not work correctly unless they forced the BLUE arrow by default.
I have to disagree. My FF runs much worse with the BLUE arrow.
I want the GREEN ARROW back.
How can I get the back GREEN ARROW?
Update Firefox 29, the same user interface is used for all types of installations. Changes to the UI are for mobile devices, at the expense of desktop / laptop users. Stupid idea, but we're stuck with it until Firefox falls into the 'other' category graphics use or pie charts. Fundamentally unworthy to have its own category more.

What does the blue arrow on an average of folder?
A folder that should have been available went from a red dot with the white horizontal bar to a white dot with a blue arrow pointing downwards. None should have been on this user/username/Documents folder
I is not accessible. Tried setting permissions and eliminated the plists. Nothing seems to work.
You can post a screenshot of what you see? I don't remember having seen a folder with a "red dot with the white horizontal bar.
