  Firefox version 40.0 can no longer play videos from youtube.com without ridiculously high levels of cpu on my 10 Pro 64-bit Windows System. The non-video HD, the cpu is using Firefox level is a constant 45 to 50%. On change to 1080 p HD, Firefox 40.0 now consumes a staggering 75-85% of cpu. It started since the upgrade to Firefox 39.

  Opera of 31.0, Edge and Internet Explorer 11.0.10240.16384 all use less than 20% cpu when running HTML5 or Flash in mode HD 1080 p on the youtube.com site.

Video on youtube.com is rough and stutter and 40.0 Firefox is having a devastating effect on the proper functioning of my entire system, mounted in power overall cpu usage just up to 100%.   We changed how updates were deployed to a test, that's why you were probably the 34.0.5 on a computer and 34.0.0 on the other. The only difference between them is that 34.0.5 defines yahoo as the default search. You don't need to worry because of the different versions (who both were released at the same time BTW)

• Aurora running, but can not be played on Desktop Windows 7 pro 64-bit

  I've been using Aurora for several years with Windows 7 pro 64-bit with the two latest major 28/29 Auroa just missing from my desk after clicking on the icon on the desktop, I tried to uninstall, but the system told me I had still Aroura running uninstall so I had to reboot my PC, I could uninstall I then reinstalled Aurora and a pinned icon appeared in the taskbar, but when I clicked on the icon on the desktop the hourglass turned but no Aroura started on the desktop, so I went through the whole thing again and uninstalled Aurora and installed Firefox V26 and now it has progressed to the last version that has disappeared as exactly the same way.

  What can I do if I use Aroura again because it is very good and safe to use?

  I can't use the troubleshooting info as I can't see Aurora/Firefox to view or copy/paste the info shown.

I use privet navigation a lot and the biggest problem sites are 'AOL' and my 'add-on' loved and needed. Does anyone else have this problem? And I would be very happy to Support entry on that too please. Thank you once again and please know I love my Firefox and really don't want to use my IE8. "Peek-a-boo" stuff is not help either but I'm certainly not worried at their subject because I do not do something bad or evil, then let them watch on LOL but they of course slow down a lot of things these days ha Ah!   New MacBook with an instance of Time Machine saved from previous MacBook Pro

  Trying to install fresh Windows 10 Pro 64-bit image on a new 130GB partition created by Bootcamp.

  1. I ran bootcamp.
  2. Bootcamp Assistant downloads the drivers Windows and 'medium '.
  3. Bootcamp Assistant creates the disk partition, and then switches to Windows (no need USB), Windows.iso image is very good by Bootcamp.
  4. "Windows Setup" starts its thing.
  5. Screen 1: I am asked to confirm the installation, and accept the license.
  6. Screen 2: I enter my license key Pro 10 MS Windows in the form of xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx
  7. Screen 3: not below, program installing Windows says "no images available.

  Followed, after contact Apple support, by sending in diagnosis and return just GENERALS of Apple engineers... I did a thorough cleaning of my PowerBook. Using the command-R during restart, started in Recovery Mode or what it's called, used the disk utility, wiped and formatted the drive. Made a new fresh install of OS X el Capitan. Updated. THEN, I installed Windows with BootCamp Assistant. The process worked. My hunch is that use Time Machine to power my new machine was the culprit. I am betting that Time Machine copied on the parameters of my previous machine (a mid-2011 Powerbook), on this new Powerbook from 2015. That's the only difference. So it is now resolved.

• Pavilion 23-q227c: can Windows 7 Pro installed on a PC Pavilion 23-q227c?

  I like the big screen but unfortunately important software does not work well or at all in the environment Windows 10. Window 7 Pro has been used and is used on the local server. There are card readers and password for readers simply not work wit this software in windows 10.  So looking around, I see no drivers for windows 7 for this machine.  Y at - it all?  The touch screen is nice, but not a must have thing.  But everything else is.

  Your PC is preinstalled with Windows 10. If you delete or overwrite the original Win10 on your PC with Win 7, you will encounter serious problems as there are no HP Win7 drivers for new hardware that comes with new machines.
  
  MS provides drivers that provide only the basic features.  This means that the functionality of the material is likely to NOT work if you force a downgrade.  Which includes functions such as the touch pad, graphics swtichable, WiFi, USB ports - to name the functions commonly reported here.
  
  If you want all the features of the machine, you must keep the original version of OS preinstalled.

  Sorry, but if what you need is a PC Win7, you should have bought a Win7 PC.
