  Hi, you are welcome. I should have mentioned that it is recommended to update the graphics and video drivers the latest versions as well. I noticed that you updated your graphics card, but you can update the video driver as well.

  I try to install Evil Genius of Vivendi Games, but every time I try to run automatically or manually run the .exe the initial Installation menu appears for a brief second, then immediately disappears.

  I searched online and there are people who claim to run this game on Windows 7 with little or no problem. I tried to use the option "Run in compatibility mode", but not joy.

  My system:

  Intel Core 2 Quad 8300 X 2.5 Ghz

  This game does not even appear on the website of compatibility for Vista.  I did some looking around and it seems that the versions of Windows that this game is for is 98 - XP.  As is the case, you will need to check with the manufacturer for any updates\patches that will make it work.  Also I met this site that seems to be the unofficial site for the game.  They have a lot of information about the game and have links to the patches.  However, you should check with the documentation provided with the game to the official site of companies.

  TLDR: Windows trying to connect in user 1 with the old password and does not give me the option to connect user 2

  I'm trying to set up a new account for my roommate to use. It's something I've done many times before and never had a problem with.

  This time, however it is causing me pain.

  First off I created a new user account (user 2) gave him a password and him give a normal user account (not admin). I also changed the password on my account (user 1) which is an administrator account.

  Now when I restarted my computer I expected to go to the login screen and give me two options (user 1 and user 2) that would require a password. I should mention here that before that I created the 2 user I've ever seen the login screen as it starts directly on my desk.

  What is happening at startup, it is just after windows logo I get the message "the password is incorrect" (on the lines in any case).

  When I confirm this message I show the log on screen but it only shows the user accounts 1 and 'others '.

  I can enter the new password for the user 1 at this stage and connect fine, I can also go the "other accounts" and enter credentials user 2 and connect fine but on reboot, I get again the opinion of incorrect password and user 2 is not always displayed on the login screen.

  The incorrect password, he speaks is the old password for user 1, but I'm not enter, it of like windows remembered the old password and trying to enter to connect directly to user 1 with it.

  This happens because someone has configured your machine some time ago to connect automatically. You can adjust the process according to your needs:

  1. press Windows + R key on your keyboard.
  2. Enter the following command and press ENTER:
  netplwiz
  3. check the box that requires users to enter a password.
  4. click on OK.
  5. take note of the process for later use.

  The solution was to install "Tahoma" and "" Tahoma"BOLD" charactersets again. They were transferred from another PC.

  An audit of the differences in display settings revealed a problem with the standard system font "Tahoma". It was not shown as possible characterset within some of the possible settings.
