Windows 8 store problem of cache and licenses

Hello

I recently bought a computer dell laptop Windows 8. I have a few problems in the windows store. I'm unable to update or check out all the new apps on the store. I continue to by clicking on the icons of application but nothing downloads and updates existing fail as well. When the troubleshooter in Windows 8 App running it is said that ' Windows store cache and licenses can be corrupt " I cleared caches and updated licenses both manually and through the application of the resolution of the problems, but the problem persists and I get the same message of the cache corrupted every time troubleshooting tool. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

Thank you very much for your reply, Prandeep :)

I have no day my computer, nor have I received error messages. I could scroll down and browse the store but it was insensitive to all clicks I did, so I was not able to download/update anything

When running the troubleshooter, I still got the message on corrupt cache even after fixing using the Troubleshoot utility.

However, I have just above, came the problem. I have consulted the storage of the C drive windows folder and manually created a cache folder.

I read the solution on a Web tech site and it worked for me.

Will put in place a link here for all other people facing the same problem, as soon as I find them still.

    Hi Verisetti,

Have you installed security software after formatting windows?

If so, you can uninstall the security software temporarily and check if you receive the access violation error.

If the uninstallation of security software solves the problem, you may need to configure the settings of the software of safety accordingly. Please contact the software vendor for assistance in this regard.

Note: Make sure that you install the security software after the trial.

  • Windows 7 network problem (network computers and devices slowly filling)

When I started > network, the list of devices fills very slowly.  A loading bar going across the top for about 30 seconds to a minute and devices do not show up until the bar is almost completely through.  Must not fill as they are discovered... and why is taking so long?  Also navigation within folders my network is just as slow and large file transfer is slow as well.

    Thanks for your time,

    Matt

    Hi Matt,

Every time that you open the network list, Windows is designed to rescan the network for devices. Unfortunately, this is normal and there is not much I can do to change that.
Of course, plenty of time to detect devices and transfer files can definitely be caused by the type of network. You are currently connected via a cable ethernet or WiFi?
Also, try to update the drivers for your network card and see if that helps. It would also be a good idea to try the connection in SafeMode with networking to see if the problem persists.
    Hope this helps!

While probably not 100% necessary-, it is probably a good idea at this time to ensure that you continue to get the updates you need.  This will help you ensure that your system update is ready to do it for you.

  • Windows 8 compatibility problems (no MUSE and Quicktime .mov files)

I'm bummed that Adobe Muse seems to be compatibile with Windows 8. I just bought a new machine with 8 on it and I'm trying to get used to. So far, it of a real disappointment and also the fact that Quicktime (and, therefore, the .mov files) are not compatible either. ANY help would be great. I can be downgraded to Windows 7 if I can't find a solution. Recommendations?

    Thank you

Adobe Muse is compatible with the desktop version of Windows 8. Muse is not compatible with the version of RT Windows 8 tablet (ARM).

  • I can't buy apps in Windows 8 Store: "your purchase could not be completed, something happened and your purchase could not be completed.

When I try to buy an app out of the store, I get the message:

"Your purchase could not be completed . " something happened and your purchase could not be completed '

A new attempt of results in the same error.

I tried most, if not all, solutions to this problem on the forums (definition of the location, date/time, reset the windows store, crossing the local profile cache, using several computers running different versions of Windows 8, using "sfc/scannow" in a command prompt, etc..)

    • This issue is not present on my windows phone 8 device.
    • At one point, I was able to buy apps with success.
    • I recently configured a VPN (Although disabling the VPN does not solve the issue)
    • I run 2 PCs of Windows 8 and use the same Microsoft Account for both
    • I recently transferred a XBOX live gamer tag to my Microsoft Account
    • I have a credit card and a PayPal account set up in my billing options
    • Recently, the PayPal account was not properly authenticate on my windows phone, I deleted and added it and it now works fine
    • In the account for the store settings (Windows + C |) Settings | Your account | Payment and Billing Information), he said: "before you can purchase an application, you must add a payment method to your account" when I click on add a doesn't MATTER.  To http://account.live.com billing options, there are two payment options clearly listed and functional.  What happens?

That's all that I think I speak for the moment.  I know that Microsoft is currently changing parts of the Microsoft Account system, but I didn't know that an error like this would be because of that.  So I want to know what I can do to solve the problem immediately.

    Thank you

OK, I solved the problem.  I still have questions using my PayPal account, but now I'm able to use my credit card.

    Here's what I did:

    1. Open the app Store
    2. Press the Windows key + C, then select settings
    3. Select the option menu: your account
    4. Select "Change user", then to connect to ANOTHER account. (I tried to simply connect to the same account again, and it did not work)
    5. Select the Add payment option (which should now work and load a menu)
    6. Close the menu and return to your old account using Exchange User
    7. Click on add payment option once again, it should now really open. (Assuming it wasn't before, that, for me, it wasn't)
    8. It will now allow you to add a payment, and I suggest strongly that add you payment options you have currently listed there.  I think there is a problem with the PayPal accounts in particular.
    9. Buy your favorite again, applications finally.
    10. Fact.

My PayPal account still does not work after that.  Well, I think it has something to do with the settings "preferred payment method" Paypal.  It might be interesting to contact PayPal on this subject, because I am able to use regular credit cards perfectly well after this "correction".

Ok. The last part of #4 is good. But you don't mention if you have installed this fix I linked at the end of my post above.

Take a look at the article on the first link. If you do not already know, I want you to understand the reason of this difficulty and what he does. I don't know whether or not your question is part of the same problem. If you already did the difficulty, however, then we go.

So, back to the last part of #4. You say that you see the applications listed in the monitor of the device. Under normal circumstances, apps can be deleted from here. Let's see if you can do it.

In the monitor of the device, select the screen of storage (third from left, before the use of the CPU. Now, press in and hold the app. A window should slide out on the left with two selections, see details and delete. Press DELETE.

The app deletes it or not? If this is not the case, do you have an error message? If so, what would you say?

If the application does not delete, this is where we're going... If you do not install the fix I linked, then do the fix.  Be careful and follow the directions exactly.  Then try again to delte the app that I described just above.

also I try to communicate directly with Microsoft, and when asked for the PID (ID), I insert and always gives me a server error or other problems

I need help please. Thanks in advance

I ran into the problem last night where I could not install, reinstall, or update all apps in the Windows store.  I'm still under Windows 8 and 8.1 not for reasons known but that is for another place.
This problem took me a day to find and troubleshoot, ALLL and I mean about 8 solid hours.  The error codes I received kept windows pointing store of problems with Windows Update or other corruptions of system, but after all of these solutions and executed the partner checks several times nothing was wrong with my Windows Update.  I would have guessed considering how I could still download updates from MS very well.
What solved MY problem (and I bet that most of your establishments), was actually a file permissions issue.  There are TWO, count them 2 folders that you should be sure your username has full permissions.  I saw there of the patches that speak on one or the other, but you need BOTH.  Here is the path to these files file: (remember 'C' is my root drive, is the name of each user on the system, and if you have customized your installation of windows, or the location of the user folder, you must change this path to match)
    C:\Program Files\WindowsApps
    \AppData\Local\Packages C:\Users\
Before you follow this procedure, access the Windows store and cancel all pending installations (or omitted).
To set the permissions: (if at any time, the system asks the permission of the administrator, you must grant it)
    1. make sure that you logged in with an administrator account.
    2. open Windows Explorer and navigate to C:\Program FIles.
    3. Locate the file WindowsApps (all the way down)
NOTE: this is a hidden folder, so do not forget, you go to the top of the window and click on the 'View' tab, then check the box next to "Hidden items" in the Show/Hide section.
    4. right click on the WindowsApps file and choose "Properties".
    5. click on the security"" tab.
    6. click on the button "Advanced".
7.1 if your username is listed in the list under entity double-click on it (otherwise go to 7.2)
7.1 a - ensure the Type: is 'Allow' and the applies to: is "this folder, subfolders and files.
7.1 b - click the full control checkbox
    7.1.c - click OK
7.2 If your username is not listed, click on the button "Add" below the list (you may need to click on 'Edit' to the 'Add' button to appear)
7.2 a - click on "Select a main" link at the top.
7.2 b-"Advanced", click on "find now".
7.2 c - book here your user name in the list and double-click on it
    7.2d - click OK
7.2E - ensure the Type: is 'Allow' and the applies to: is "this folder, subfolders and files.
7.2f - click the full control checkbox
    7.2.g - click OK
    8. you should now see your username in the list of the "Advanced Security Settings for WindowsApps" with "Full control" in the access column (if you do not, go back to 7.1 or 7.2 and carefully follow the steps once again).  Click OK
    9 go to C:\Users\\AppData\Local
NOTE: AppData is a hidden folder, so be sure you have the "Hidden items" box checked
    10. right click on the WindowsApps file and choose "Properties".
    11. click on the security"" tab.
    12. click on the button "Advanced".
13 follow the same procedure in steps 7.1 or 7.2 to add your username to the list to this folder with full control permissions.
    14
    . Restart your computer.
That's it, once your computer restarts, you should be able to use the store Windows to install applications and updates.
Once you confirm that it works for you, I recommend you to create an image of the master volume of your Windows System.  All this happened to me while I was trying to get everything set up initially, but once you do, using the image as a good quick a good known Configuration reboot is a MUCH faster way to solve many problems with Windows... SAME A WAY TO GO BACK to Windows 8 Windows 8.1 IF YOU FIND THE NEED. I KNOW I DID!

  • Downgrade from Windows - 8 updates from Windows-7 Pro-Windows-8 causing of programs; Troubleshooting and problems

    Dear Microsoft community team,

I installed the Windows (27) - 8 and Office 2010 updates yesterday that was recommended in the notifications of security & systems.

After installing these updates (27) in my HP Envy h8 - 1520t PC, my programs said crash and stop and start automatically. This has been a recurring problem with the updates of Windows-8 that I installed in my new PC.

As a result, I am unable to play my favorite games, use applications and have constant program blocks.

I am very disappointed with these problems. I bought a copy of OEM OS-Windows 7 PRO 64 bit and would like to downgrade from Windows-8 to-Windows 7 PRO 64-bit OS. Can you please provide me with instructions to install Windows - 7 PRO on my PC?

I spent countless hours online and search for bugs on the web sites of Microsoft for Windows-8 updates of the anomalies and corrections, with no resolution. HP has no alternative but to contact Microsoft support. I can't find a link email Microsoft support anywhere.

Please help me as soon as possible. Many individuals have downgraded to Windown-8 to-Windows 7 PRO with positive results on their HP Envy h8 - 1520 t PC. I never had a problem with the Windows 7 operating system.
