Application and Blackberry blackBerry 10 z3 software store problems (OS 10.3.2.2876)

I recently updated my BlackBerry z3 software and because the I had problems with my Amazon app store where I download applications, then it shows me that the application is installed, but when I check my device I don't seem to find the app, I tried to uninstall applications, but it will not be my Amazon store rather closed automatically and even if the apps that I download does not appear on my device it always use my device memory causing my system to slow or restart more than inopportuned times making me lose a lot of files... Please if anyone can help please leave your comments

Ok. The last part of #4 is good. But you don't mention if you have installed this fix I linked at the end of my post above.

Take a look at the article on the first link. If you do not already know, I want you to understand the reason of this difficulty and what he does. I don't know whether or not your question is part of the same problem. If you already did the difficulty, however, then we go.

So, back to the last part of #4. You say that you see the applications listed in the monitor of the device. Under normal circumstances, apps can be deleted from here. Let's see if you can do it.

In the monitor of the device, select the screen of storage (third from left, before the use of the CPU. Now, press in and hold the app. A window should slide out on the left with two selections, see details and delete. Press DELETE.

The app deletes it or not? If this is not the case, do you have an error message? If so, what would you say?

If the application does not delete, this is where we're going... If you do not install the fix I linked, then do the fix.  Be careful and follow the directions exactly.  Then try again to delte the app that I described just above.

  • Updated our Amazon legacy native application, and now our subscribers cannot see any problem before later, why?

We have updated our Amazon app for our multi-folio ed. pro legacy native application and now our subscribers cannot see previous issues, they have bought. They are not available for download yet. Why? A Subscriber (Kindle Fire HDx) said that ceramics monthly it has one question and it is the may issue but not the June/July/August issue (the last issue). I tried on our Kindle Fire and all I can see is the last number and the toll-free number we offer. I do not see another question that I already bought or back issues and I can just see the last number because we offer a toll-free number to all clients of the time. I need to get this resolved as soon as possible.

    Thank you

The native Viewer does not support in-app Amazon purchase, and we withdraw support for Amazon in the heritage with our version of the R31 Viewer.

You must return to the Amazon with your previous, legacy, Viewer and leave in the store.

Thank you very much for help

Hello. This forum exists to disturb us, so don't be sorry!

Skimming just your code, I think that the line:

    CFile = (FileConnection) Connector.open ("dat.xml", Connector.READ_WRITE, true);

may be causing the exception. Connector.open method requires the first argument a string in the format:

    {schema of}: [{target}] [{parms}]

where {} is the name of a Protocol and is required. Your argument, 'dat.xml', is not a plan. Since you are built on a FileConnection, the Protocol should be 'leader '. Also, the target must be an absolute path name. A typical target for a file that is stored in the memory of the unit would be:

    'file:///store/home/user/dat.xml '.

To the SD card, a typical target would be:

    'file:///SDCard/BlackBerry/dat.xml '.

You can determine the roots of system file using FileSystemRegistry.listRoots ().

  • Java application and BlackBerry 10?

I finally broke - after 26 hours of trying to figure it out on my own - and write a request on this forum. Nobody knows - is an application written in BlackBerry Java 7.1 BlackBerry 10 work?  And how do I test?

    I discovered:

1 Blackberry 10 needs a ".bar" file, not a file ".cod". But the Blackberry in Eclipse projects make the .cod files

    2. If you want to test an application on the 10 of Blackberry, I need to download the VMware Player and the BB10 Simulator, and

set up the zoom etc with the controller.

3 black berry is usually forward compatible, so if an application has worked on JDK 6.0, it should work on 7.0.  Does this mean that it should also work on 10?

My apologies, there are a few typos in my post:

"My experience with the web site of the BlackBerry developers, it's the other promotion options of development, in particular C++ and Web development options works in Java, for at least a year or two too.

I think that "in favor of" would have been better written, 'instead of '.

"I advise you to try the platform B ++ Cascades."

    should have read

I advise you to try the platform C++ Cascades

    I hope that clarifies things.

  • I could develop Java Application for Blackberry device software version 5.0 to 6.0 JDE

    Hi, expert,

I saw this line of the ' BlackBerry Java Development Environment - 4.7.0 - fundamentals Guide'.

    It is said:

    ===============================

With each major version of the BlackBerry Device Software and the FMV of BlackBerry, Research In Motion includes the
corresponding Java API and version of the BlackBerry® Java® development environment. The version of the BlackBerry device
Software determines the version of the BlackBerry® integrated development environment that you can use to develop
applications. For example, RIM released BlackBerry Device Software version 4.0 and BlackBerry JDE version 4.0 in even
time. BlackBerry JDE version 4.0 supports APIs that were introduced in BlackBerry Device Software version 4.0
    and BlackBerry JVM version 4.0.

The applications that you create by using BlackBerry JDE Version 4.0 only work on BlackBerry devices
running BlackBerry Device Software version 4.0 or later.

    =========================

The last sentence talking about version 4.0 of JDE. I think that would mean that I could not develop a java application on JDE 6.0 for Blackberry 5.0 version of the software, even if I do not use any new API to 6.0. However, it seems to me that it is a useless limitation. Could someone throw some lights on it?

I'm going to agree with superdirt here.

I have the 5.0 OS update of applications work well on OS 5.0, 6.0 and 7.0 of the OS OS phones.  I try not to recompile for levels of the OS, if I can, and so far I've been perfectly safe with OS 5.0 running on the later levels of the operating system.  So you should be able to get away with just using OS 5.0.

Not that it is important for you, but I just thought I documents some historical information about level changes.  .

As far as I know it 2 change cod in the file format, one to the 4.0 OS and the other in OS 4.2.  Therefore, if you want to run anything in OS 6.0 or above, it must be compiled in OS 4.2 or higher.  Again, I have applications compiled to OS 4.2 running on OS 6.0, without no problem devices.

There have been changes to the API - the result is that the code that works in OS xx does not work in OS yy where yy is after xx.  I hit a few of them and have so far managed to rework the code so that it works very well on both levels of the operating system.  In general it is things that I do wrong anyway, as the older operating systems (from memory) are not as strict on when the event Thread must be used.

The problem with OS 4.7 compatibility is an impact and to get more of this, for devices touch screen only, I compile using OS 4.7.  If an application that uses only the functionality that was available in the OS 4.2, I compile on OS 4.2 for non touch screen phones and OS 4.7 for touchscreen phones.  And everything works fine.

    I hope this helps.

I'm trying to remove some languages of my Torch 9850. I recently spent the unit from a torch defective 9850 in a replacement as new from Verizon. Entering BDS V 7.1.0.41, loading Applications gets me only for the applications that I installed from Blackberry World, but it does give me no other options as he used to do the last time I needed to change the language, which was in February, two months ago. I checked for software updates and the BDS and the 7 OS is up-to-date (OS7 v7.1.0.755 platform 5.1.0.553). I repair, BDS installed and installed with no luck. Ideas? Hello

The easiest way is, on a PC (you can not do on MAC):

    1) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

    (2) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

    (3) download and install on your computer, the BB OS exact package that is currently running on your BB:

    4) remove, on your PC, all copies of the SELLER. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

    Now, try again.

Good luck and let us know!

  • How to upgrade the application through Blackberry Desktop

    Hello.

Situation of Stange. Could you please give me a hint, how do I overcome that?

    1. I've compiled and signed the application. Alx file created. Two files are created "bb_application.cod" and "bb_application.alx".
    2. I run Blackberry Desktop, ran the Application Loader and specified my project as the location of the files folder and installed the application.
    3. I decided to change something in my application. I changed the code java, recompiled and signed the application. And also alx-file created.
    4. I run Blackberry Desktop, ran the Application Loader and saw that my request is already shown in the window of the Application Loader that checked. When I clicked on the button "Add" and specified the location of the updated alx file I get the following error: "no additional applications designed for your device were found".

How can question - I change application already installed without uninstalling? If I uninstall this application - all the information stored in the store persistent will be lost.

Here is my point of view on what is happening here.

You have added an alx for the application loader, so that he knows that cods you attempt to load on the device.  If you add an another alx with the same cod, he rejects this, by you saying "no additional demand.  In this case, it should probably say "cod application already added.

Now the application loader is sometimes his own worst enemy, but he tries to be smart and it will remember, for every alx you added, the level of the alx.  So if you change that alx to a level later, the application loader will tell you, that you need to update.  If change you to a previous level (i.e. lower) it will tell you are without downgrading and then ignore the downgrade (which can be a bit annoying...).  Doing so, in my experience, it takes without notice of the date of compilation of the cod file - this only on the level in the alx details.

So in your case, you simply update the alx that points to the application loader whenever you put cod involved level (and sign)...

  • Smartphones blackBerry device software upgrade problem

    Hi all

I have a Blackberry 8310. He was originally AT & T service, but he now has the T-Mobile. It is unlocked and currently leads the software 4.2.2.170.

I'm moving to 4.5. I downloaded the software from T-mobile, here for the 8320. They have no 8310 software, and told me that it shouldn't make a difference:

    http://www.t-mobile.com/bbupgrade/

    I followed the instructions here:

    http://www.BlackBerryFAQ.com/index.php/How_do_I_upgrade_the_OS_on_my_BlackBerry%3F

    (I tried method 1 and method 2)

However, it will not install little matter what I do. I even tried using CrackMem.

Get to step 6 of method 2 for example, I'm never invited to install the upgrade. When I look into the application loader on BB Desktop under applications to update or install new applications, the software update is never there.

No idea why the upgrade won't install? Is it because the phone's ex - AT & T?

One last thing - it was originally hooked up to BES and so had a top COMPUTER policy. I wiped by using method 2 here:

    http://www.BlackBerryFAQ.com/index.php/Remove_IT_Policy

    Any help would be appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the forums!

One that you said that the software and the model doesn't matter, said you bad.

Well, software loading 8320 in to a 8310 photo an accident of room StarTrek carrier... same results.

Go to the AT & T software download site and get the right device OS for the 8310.

When you go to install it, you need to remove the provider. XML file. This step is listed in your procedure

I have the number of site and the version to download for you at the bottom of the post.

When you start the download of software peripheral BONES of AT & T, save the file to disk, do not run.

When the download is complete, then go to the directory on the PC you have loaded to and run the

self-extracting file. The software will be installed in the directories in the files of the Office Manager

If the application loader will find it.

Follow each step exactly as written now from the first step of the procedure of FAQ.

Help! I STILL NEED HELP WITH THE QUESTION, I WAS NOT ABLE TO SYNC MY CONTACTS FOR OVER A YEAR NOW!

I couldn't find a solution for this, ANYWHERE so I just decided to fix this problem just upgrade to the new version of the BlackBerry Desktop version 6.0.0.40 software. And now, ALL my contacts synchronize with a problem.

Also from the beginning of this problem and now I have also improved my Outlook 2003 to 2007 and then to 2010.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Software Update problems.

I upgraded the OS on my 8800 in v. 4.5 so that I could use BB Messenger.  But once the upgrade of the software, that I'm having this problem with my BB when I leave it idle for a few minutes, the screen goes white, and I get the hourglass turns again and again and it just restarted my BB.  And this will be repeated continually repeated.  If I use my BB, it does not go to white screen and restarts.  Not sure what the problem is.

Now when I push the lock button on the side, he instead goes to the Push to Talk application.  Y at - it somewhere where I can put the lock back button to lock?

This update has been a headache, and Messenger of BB not worth all these problems if I can not fix them.  Anyone know how to fix?  Or should I just go back to a lower version, if I can still do it.

    Thanks for any help.

I don't know why I didn't do this earlier, but mention you the media card reminded me...

    Follow these steps:

Read this on how to correct the media card (courtesy of John Clark, a different expertise here in the Forum):

    1. remove the card multimedia unit and put it in a card reader. This makes the rest of the process much faster. However, you can do it with the card in the camera.

2 copy all the contents of the card on your PC.

    3. replace the card in the camera and go to Options > Media Card > Menu button > card. You wipe the card and reformat. (if using a card reader to remove the card and put it back in the drive).

    4. now copy backup ONLY in the media to the device. Don't copy back all the 'BBthumbs.dat' files or all system files. I went through the entire folder and delete all .dat files before copying the content of the music folder and the folders of photos to the device. The device will re-create these files. Also, I is not copy folder "current music" but rather just copied content and pasted into the folder \Blackberry\music of the card. Do this for each folder.

    5. Once finished put the card in the camera, and then try again the media App. He must walk to the music. If you have a lot of music can take 5-10 minutes. When scanning, you can open the music application and you should be able to see the songs move in the list when the device will navigate

If after the transfer of all your files back, you still get a stuck scanning bar or device restarts so you have a file in conflict on the map. I saw video files to do this, but it could be a music file too or (less likely) an image file. Remove all the files you transferred and see if restarting to stop him. Then add each file one at a time to see if you can narrow the file which is the cause. When you have found the folder, and then you can refine to a particular file.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones new software download incomplete

I connected my 8310 to my PC using BB Desktop Manager via a USB port and I was told there was new software for my device available for download. So I started the download, and when he was half, he stopped and would not continue. After a long time I gave up and tried to reconnect the device on my PC and the PC said that it does not recognize my BB.

My BB does more work, just with a flashing red light I think it blew its brains. What choices do I have?

    Hello

You will need to reload the operating system once the PC recognizes the device.

    http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB00125

What I was doing to completely wipe my BB. I wrote this before and it printed.

If your device does not work, perform a backup now if you have not already done save the file to a place and a name that you can easily locate it on computer.

I then uninstalled DTM and then deleted all the other references to BB/Rim in Windows Explorer, thus eliminating the operating system for the BB to the computer in order to ensure that the version I want to reinstall a new version uploaded.

Get the latest Desk Top software DTS)
    http://us.BlackBerry.com/apps-software/desktop/?CPID=OTC-DSKTPSW&CP=OTC-DSKTPSW

and install it on the computer.

Get the latest version of the operating system

    http://us.BlackBerry.com/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp

    and save it on computer.

If the PC does not recognize the BB, you connect via the USB cable. Then remove the battery from the BB.
With the battery pulled, connect the BlackBerry to the USB connector, and as SOON as you see USB - PIN: UNKNOWN, click Next. You must be quick. From there, you can put the battery in (make sure that you install the battery or else when completed the update of the OS and the device disconnects from the computer to restart, it will lose the power supplied by the USB connection and you will get an error and have to start all over again!).

If you don't get it right the first time, try again (debrancher unplug the USB, remove battery, connect and click next while USB - PIN: unknown shows). You must be quick and the timing is key, so it may take you three or four attempts.

To erase all data on your BlackBerry device, follow these steps.

    (1) download JL_Cmder http://www.4shared.com/get/oqP9V-2Q/JL_Cmder_v19.html

    (2) install JL_Cmder to the computer.

  • ePrint apps for the blackberry and blackberry playbook torch

Y at - it an eprint for blackberry and blackberry playbook torch application?

    Hello Dagreenguy,

The only application for Blackberry from HP operating system is HP ePrint Service, found on the link below.

    http://appworld.BlackBerry.com/WebStore/content/13675?lang=en

This app is mainly for printing on public printers, an example might be a FedEx Kinkos.

If you want ePrint on your personal printer, I'd just sending an e-mail to the e-mail address of your printer from your Blackberry mobile ePrint.
