Windows 8 stuck in the loop of auto repair

Hey,.

Yesterday, I restarted my computer after installing a program, then it started to do this, it will forever... My last pc I could press F11 or something and enter the system recovery, this PC it brings me to the uefi asrock configuration utility, which I have no idea what to do...

I can't figure out how to start a system recovery, or how to get in safe mode, I know Win7 I could press F8 and choose my boot method, but that doesn't work here, and all I can find on google is how to start in safe mode when your computer is on and I can get on the desktop which is completely unnecessary, because when you use safe mode if your computer was working...

Before this happened I used my task manager to modify some applications that run at startup, but it was like Samsung Kies and Adobe stuff, nothing to do with the system, and I don't think that it would anyway.

Then I was installing tortoisesvn on reboot, this happened...

It's the time of the final, I need to come back on this PC

Here is a video of my computer law to market

http://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=aWRDLM68xWo

I touched the loop after a windows update on 1/19. If you add up all the hours of research to fix poster we should have everything checked. If m$ has been working on that, we would know. canned response makes me cringe like directv told me to hit the red button... I've exhausted all the solutions I found, and that you do not want free files.

  • Are there opportunities that Windows updates are causing a loop of auto repair?

    Hi, just recently when I installed the new windows updates my laptop immediately is stuck in the 'auto repair loop' on reboot. I used the system restore and everything went back to normal. However, once again, I got these new updates of windows and don't think not much on this subject, I installed them again. Now I'm wondering back here what to do with the 104 new "recommended" updates from windows (value of 995 mb).

    PS: I have no need for any advice on how to struggling auto repair loop, just to know if there is something wrong with the new windows updates, and no, I did not install the updates of windows 'optional '.

  • Y410P stuck in boot loop 'prepare auto repair.

    Hello

    Unfortunately, I woke up this morning to my Y410P stuck with the Lenovo logo and text saying "prepare auto repair. After a few moments, it will say "Diagnose your PC" and then "repair disk errors. It could take more than an hour to finish. "Edit: then after a few seconds, it restarts and everything happens again.

    As you can imagine I am very satisfied with this and I have no idea what may have caused it. I am currently studying in Belgium so no help here I can get will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

  • How to remove Win 8 once you got into the loop of auto repair

    Hello

    I want to delete my win 8 and 8.1 pre-installed os clean win install.

    The first thing that boot is an auto repair repeatedly. In prebooting does not react on any key functional. The only things I can use are UEFI and command prompt. Everything else does not work (so don't suggest me trying sth else) and I do not have the recovery partition. After the Boot priority, on USB HDD and restart the laptop (SAMSUNG) it resets to how previous start.

    Some info: I disabled the startup security, disabled the quick start, activated Legasy only, I delete all the partition on the HARD disk. What can I do else so that the pc will not reset the boot priority back?

    Jayant Gupta thanks for your reply, but I already did. Just in case if this could help someone: I have disabled everything I could in UEFI (absolutely everything) - saved and restarted, then I deleted all the positions in except USB Flash Driver Boot priority where my 8.1 Win was - saved, rebooted and kept pressing three keys: ESC, F2, F11 (one of them finally worked); and then I finally got on the menu before installation of the USB Flash driver.

    Hi Anthony,.

    You are welcome

    It is relatively cheap replace HARD drive.

    The player at the link below is an example of one that would be perfect for your laptop.

    750 GB hard drive for laptop.

    The procedure to replace the hard drive begins on Page 66 of your & Maintenance Guide.

    About reinstalling the operating system on the new drive, as the machine has been previously upgraded to 10, a hardware profile (digital rights) will have been saved by the activation servers.

    As long as the previous installation of Windows 10 had activated Ok after the upgrade, you just create your own installation media and perform a new installation of Windows 10 as stated in the guide on the following link.  Note: On the activation screen, select "I have not a product key" - Windows will activate automatically once installation is complete.

    http://www.howtogeek.com/224342/how-to-clean-install-Windows-10/

    For all that recover your files from the drive failing is concerned, one possibility would be to place it in an external enclosure - is an example of the link below - connect to another PC and see if you can access your files.

    External 2.5 HARD drive caddy ".

    Hi guys,.

    Ive had a problem with my computer. I have the alienware aurora r4 and have and issue with blue screen and auto repair mode.

    The real problem is really the mode of auto repair. What happened is that when I did a windows update it ended to give me a bluescreen during loging screen when I start the computer. After 3 restart put me in auto repair infinit loop and since then I can't get out, not even will lauch and im safe mode don't really know what to do.

    There is no problem of harware, I run the ePSA to confirm this. but the main reason is that it is the second time this has happened to me. the first time windows upated this month he did the samething, but I would get blue screen after login. How to solve this problem the first time, is that I restore my system to a certain date, when I didn't have this problem. After this, I turn off the windows upadte until I get more information one why its done 2 days ago, it is accidentally turn on by my antivirus or maybe accidentally by me.

    Now it is stuck on this infinite loop for auto repair and I can't do a system files because it must be done in safe mode, or need to disable launch beginning of antivirus (not exacly how his writings sound penultimate option aloong SafeMode in windows 8.1)

    What I have to do is stop mode auto repair, so that I can operate either in safe mode or disable the antivirus at the beginning so that I can restore my computer to a day where it was working fine. The computer has access to the command prompt, so any code that can disable or ask the system that he has never mistake might help.

    There is a file that I really need to recover from this computer and also need to use this machine. Any help is appreciated

    Thank you

    My computer is stuck in the loop "Update Configuration". Boots only in safe mode. I tried to do a system restore, but an error message appears that says:

    To perform an offline system restore, you must specify which Windows installation you want to restore. For example, if the installation is in "C:\Windows:" should be restored, enter the following command: rstrui.exe/OFFLINE:C\Windows

    Hi Aitchb65,

    Thank you for your participation in the communities of Support from Apple.

    I see that the mail is stuck in a loop and the opening of many windows unexpectedly. Try to run Mail in 'safe mode' by following these steps:

    Open Mail and immediately hold down the SHIFT key until the Mail is opened. This causes the Mail to open without any message or box to the selected letters.

    Of Mail if closes unexpectedly when displaying certain messages.

    If the Mail normally opens, try to update your SMTP settings -Mail (El Capitan): list of outgoing mail server settings.

    You can also delete email accounts in Mail preferences and start over after export and save all important messages. To help in this part, see Mail (El Capitan): Configure Mail with your email accounts and Mail (El Capitan): import / export the mailboxes.

    Sincerely.

  • Satellite C660 - 115 Win7 update stuck in the loop. SOLVED!

    I have a Satellite C660-115 which is stuck in a loop "of despair".
    I am a COMPUTER engineer support and a customer brought this laptop of mine, who was stuck in a loop of repair Win7 (64-bit prem) that simply says Win7 could not be repaired.

    I backed up the profiles of subscribers using Hiren boot CD (done chkdsk as well - everything is OK), and then did a factory restore.
    No problem at all with the restoration.

    Started doing the updates for Win7; SP1 seems to install OK without errors.
    The system then picked up 37 Win7 updates automatically and asked to reset.
    Upon reboot, Win7 entered "drvload.exe" and started an auto repair.
    It took time and the system started OK, but without any sign of SP1, looks so much like system restore to an earlier point?

    I though this update to process 3 times now and each time after that a lot of auto update, the same sequence occurs.

    How to exit this loop? What is causing this problem, which I have never seen before?

    No software has been installed, other than that of the recovery process.
    I even uninstalled McAfee, just in case this could be a problem - no change.

    Ah, just took another look. It is stated in Win7 system registers that the restoration was caused by a corrupted file C:\ci.dll. Google to find it was a sign by a rootkit virus in the HARD Master Boot Record disk (the file ci.dll itself is NOT damaged). Found a fix tool

    http://support.Kaspersky.com/viruses/solutions?QID=208280684

    It identified the rootkit and removed.
    Seems to be OK now!

    Hope this post could help others.
    Of course, the factory restore does not erase the HDD MBR rootkit...

    Thanks for sharing!

  • Windos Vista update mobile home premium STUCK IN THE LOOP!

    Hi, specialist qualified Windows Vista technology, but at a loss with my own laptop! Recently, I updated and now I'm stuck in an endless loop. It starts, going past logo then update 3 3 0% complete. Stops then it all over again & again & again. You get the picture. Very fustrating. Wondering if there is a known error as happened after updating with the new Explorer not working either...

    Any help appreciated

    Do a system restore and change the update settings:

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    Also:

    Once in safe mode, to remove the updates you can do this:

    2. click on start > right click on computer > properties > Windows updates down the lower left corner > updates installed in the lower left corner in the next window

    > then click the one that you don't want > uninstall will appear at the top > uninstall it.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In addition, on the page where you clicked "Installed updates", click on change settings at the top left corner it
    > Change update settings in the next page of AutoUpdate to "check for updates but let me choose etc" > OK ".
    When you take a look at pending updates, you can either download/install them one at the time, namely the update causing you problems.
    > or if you do not need an individual > right-click on > UAC prompt > hide it
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    If the above does not work, try to make a Bootable ERD to do a Startup Repair:

    As is the case with most computers/laptops these days, they do not come with good Vista disc to repair only the recovery disks.

    As your falls into the above category: download the ISO on the provided link and do a repair of the disc.

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

    You can make a tool to restart system, System Restore, etc. with it.

    Read all the info on the website on how to create and use it.

    http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2008/Windows-Vista-recovery-disc-download/

    ISO Burner: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html

    It's a very good Vista repair disc.

    You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.

    There is not a disk of resettlement.

    And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.

    See you soon.

    Hello

    Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

    It is normal for the Chargers for devices such as the Surface to be warm to the touch. It is not normal for them to also get very hot though. If it's hot, I consider that it is defective and a possible fire hazard and would communicate with the support of Microsoft Surface to have it replaced. Please see:
