Windows backup will not accept a new drive after the 2nd backup drive

(0 x 80070022) . He is the 3rd disc shaped and then gives me this error. This computer broke down twice before after hibernation. Boss will switch to

Windows 7 and is upset. He leans on Mac.

Thanks, Terry

I don't have a solution to your problem of "dvd".
I have a suggestion:
Forget to take the backup of files with dvds.
Buy an external hard drive and use it for backups of files.

A hard disk of 1 TB post can be had less than $100, to the Canada. The United States will be even less.

Thanks to the external hard drive for backups of files, you don't have to sit by the computer and feed it with DVD whenever he asks. You can walk away. The computer will do its thing without you.

A 2 x 4 in box will store all your files. No DVD more formatting. No more marking each dvd. No stacks more DVD.

I tried a number of ati drivers. My card is a 4870 x 2 2 GB edition. The driver that windows installs will not accept any CCC.

    Hi Ron,

To provide the proper resolution, that I would need more information on your side.

    1. What is the name of the program that does not open?

    2. What is the accurate and complete error message?
    3. when, exactly, you get this error message? It is by running the program or the installation of the program?

This problem can occur if the program is not compatible with Windows 7.

    Method 1:
I suggest you try to open the program in compatibility mode. Check if it helps.

Make older programs in this version of Windows

    Method 2:
If the problem persists, you can try to install XP Mode and then try to run the program in XP Mode.

Note: XP Mode only works with Windows 7 Professional and ultimate edition. Try these steps if you are using Windows 7 Professional and ultimate edition.

  • 'open a new tab' button on the toolbar will not insert a new tab after current

I want to open a new tab button at the right end of the tab bar to open a new tab, after the currently open tab Similarly the browser does when the browser.tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent profile option is set to true.

The current behavior is VERY annoying that I still have many tabs open and then scroll all the way to the right of the tab bar and drag the new tab to where I want, which is always on the active tab.

Not sure if this has been already supported but if not, I used to run Tabberwoky which is no longer works and I became very fond of the function and I do 8 Firefox to do this.

Please tell me how, that I cannot or should do otherwise.

What's wrong??

Under accounts, I have an email ACCT - pop.windstream .net, two new Accts - Microsoft Communities, and to the title of the Directory Service, there are two accounts each NULL of Active Directory and the Directory Service Internet Verisign.  Are these multiple Accts screwing things up?  They are similar, but do not know if they are, so do not know if it's okay to remove duplicates.

  • Windows could not search for new updates after the troubleshooting and repair of updates

My computer Windows 8 began to refuse to install windows updates.  I've been through the troubleshooting steps in Help and online.

Now, what I mean is "Windows could not search for new updates", code 80073712.

Troubleshooting Windows Update tool, solve problems as an administrator, gives:

Error Windows Update Database that can be detected 0 x 80073712... Fixed.

Windows Update components and need to be repaired... Fixed.

I'm skeptical about the 'Fixed' part, because if you run it again... he finds and it 'fixed' the same problem.

DISM.exe/online/Cleanup-image /Restorehealth and /scanhealth the two report error 14098: component store has been corrupted.

Feel free to ask me questions to debug it, I'm fairly technical...

    Hello

You can try this fix based on Windows PowerShell and see if that helps:

  • Windows update will not work or let me start the update program, get the Windows Update error cannot currently get "some updates because this service does not work"

    Hello Nick,

Here is a link where you can reset windows update components.

  • Windows Update will not start work until I run the update utility.

Original title: Windows 8 - Windows Update

    I have a desktop with Windows 8.  Pre-installed - computer is 1 year.

Whenever I run my Windows Update to download/install updates - it always shows as downloads but it comes in fact does nothing and just "of the acts' as is the download but nothing happens.  Then I run the windows update convenience store (in Control Panel) and he told me that the problem is "fixed".  So I run windows update again and it works.

But the next time it's the same thing as above - doesn't work - run the troubleshooter, and then it works.  I need to run the troubleshooter and to resolve the problem, almost everytime before the windows update will work.

How can I get a permanent fix?

  • Existing Windows updates will still be available for download after the end of the world?

Even though I am well aware that the Extended Support for Windows XP ends April 8 next year, I wonder if it will be possible to download existing updates to update of Windows, including Service Pack 3, after the end of the Extended Support phase.

    Thank you
    Thomas

I wonder if there is a way to download all the updates relevant at a time, in a sort of package instead download and install each one, one.

If you mean every single security update (and Service Pack) that is never released for Windows XP (that is, since August 2001), God not!

If you end up needing to do a clean install of Windows XP after Q 2, 14, you would be better to replace the computer! [1]

PS: Get a computer fully patched after doing a clean install of Windows XP Gold (no Service Pack) may take 24 hours or more!

    ================================================================

[1] I have resisted to replace my laptop Windows XP 9 year and enjoyed for years. Then end of December 2012, I realized that something other that a new Win8 computer would soon be almost impossible, so I gritted my teeth & get a Win7 (64 bit) laptop for a very reasonable price IMHO. Find it was a bit of a challenge.

  • SYSTEM WILL NOT RESPOND FOR 1 MIN AFTER THE CONNECTION

Once connected to my system after a reboot it will not respond for atlesat 1 minute. I can open some software like firefox... but I can't open Control Panel or modify a system

    Hi mohdrafi,.

    (a) since when are you facing this problem? What were the changes to the system between the time where everything has worked, and when you noticed the problem?

This problem may occur because of the conflict between the hardware or programs on the computer.

To refine the question, I suggest you try the following steps:

Disconnect all external devices, mainly USB devices except for devices such as the mouse and keyboard.

    Check if the problem persists,

Step 1: Disable security software, follow the steps mentioned below

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/disable-antivirus-software

Note: Activate security software once the test is completed.

Step 2: Start the computer in safe mode and check if the problem persists, to do this, follow the steps below.

Access the menu advanced startup options by turning on your computer and pressing the F8 key before Windows starts. In the advanced startup options select safe mode

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode

If everything works properly in safe mode, you can deduce that some third-party services are at the origin of the problem.

Step 3: Put the computer to boot to figure out program causing problem.

Follow step 1 in the link below,

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

If everything works well after a clean boot, you can deduce that some third-party services are at the origin of the problem.

After find you the program that is causing the problem, you will have to perhaps to update or install a newer version of the program, if you rarely use that you should consider uninstalling the software

Important: n ' forget not the computer to start normal follow step 7 in the link.
