  I'm trying to reinstall windows vista for the following reasons:

  Let me know if you have any ideas how I can fix it.  My next step was to recreate this E directory and download the install.wim file and re start the installation.  I could not find the file install.wim well.

  Hi Rob,

  I checked the link you provided.  What you downloaded was just the Vista recovery environment.  You cannot actually re - install Vista with that and if you blew your recovery partition unfortunately you may be out of luck.  You blew your partition containing Vista runs so the SFC will be of no help either.  I wish I had better news for you, but I don't see any way o get on without a Vista DVD.  I have good news for you if.  When you get your HP drive if you have problems with the installation, we will be able to help you with that.

  2. what disc do you use to reinstall?
  3. What is the exact error that appears when you try to start?
  4. at what point of the installation you get the error message?

  After researching the error 0x8007000D code is essentially due to file corruption and a problem with the drive itself.

  First check if you have scratches or dust on the disc and clean the surface and try again.

  To check if the disk is wrong, you will need to copy the contents of the DVD to the hard drive and try to install using that.

  This problem can be solved first Outlook.exe location which can be found here: C:\Program Files (x 86) \Microsoft Office\Office14.

  Then click with the right button on Outlook.exe, and then click Properties. On the Compatibility tab, clear the check box that says "run this program in compatibility mode". Then click Ok, and then restart Outlook.

  After a problem with my sony ebook reader, I was told by the library to remove the program Sony and library of books on the computer and the drive, and then reinstall the program.  I would then be able to download the books again.  But now I have a message saying that windows cannot open the file must know what program - select the program from the list.   I have my project file in an external hard drive.  When I plug the hard drive to another computer and want to save it, I get this message:

  Right-click on the folder in Question and select Properties. Select tab security make sure you that you then add everyone to the list of users. Do you this by selecting edit and then add. Type in all members of the section of the object, and click ok. Then select all the user and check full control. Press Apply and we'll adjust the permissions for the folder and subfolders and files.

  Nothing worked until I managed to speak directly to Adobe support. They recommended to install the latest version of Camera Raw Installer 8.6.   as suggested above, Amy if you download items from a network drive, move your files to local computer HD and download from there. Download the data to a network drive is known to cause unpredictable errors
