  I got this yesterday after the 3.6.4 problem upgrade. I'm not sure if I saw all the things you did, but I have def lost all bookmarks and the back button. I fixed it by:
  1. go to the Firefox profile directory, which for me is here but 1st bit will be different for you as mine work specific:

  C:\Documents and Settings\U049177\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\soez0lvk.default
  2 delete places.sqlite and places.sqlite - journal

  3. start Firefox (you should have the back button now works but not Favorites, he recreated to these 2 files)

  4. in the menu, bookmarks and then organize bookmarks, then button import and backup, then restore, then select a day to restore from. You should now have your backups Firefoxes bookmarks.

  If you are on Windows, it is pretty easy.

  Close Captivate

  Right-click on the shortcut and look at the properties.

  Opinion on the properties is a button to open the location. Click it, and Windows Explorer opens.

  Starting location in the Solution Explorer, open the folder Utils.

  Double-click the CleanPreferencesWin.bat file. (Note that you can not see the part .bat, according to your settings in Windows)

  Now close the dialog box and restart Captivate.

  O are not able to see the latest version of windows you updates?

  Ø you aren't able to see the windows graphical user interface update settings?

  Each computer is different and you could look at the history of the update between the two computers and see if you are missing the other windows updates.

  I also tried to reinstalled the video driver and the TV Tuner, but the error is still there.

  I would say that the software that you install is not compatible with Windows MCE. It is possible and the cause likley. If you have all updates for windows and Magix Video and it still does not work then the problem is with the software application and the no compatibility. The fact that it works before and after roll you back OS proves it.

  What are you actually trying to do with the Magix software that Windows can't do?

  Ive made a clean boot it and I have no restore point system were everythings were very good...
  This somewhat bothers me so promptly!
