  I have a problem with a previously working printer Lexmark Wifi and my laptop Lenovo. About 2 weeks ago I noticed that my printer was backing in the print spooler after printing a single page. If I rebooted my laptop spooled printing will automatically display, and I am able to make an impression more (single page) before I have to restart again. I finally got fed up and removed the printer and recharged through the Add Printer Wizard. Now, I can't print at all. The printer is selected by default, not to display any errors when I run the troubleshooting, but test pages do not print. I tried to download the latest drivers from lexmark, deleting and reloading the printer through the wizard several times, reset between the two and nothing. We have a second laptop with windows vista connected to the printer, and it has no problem printing. It has been implemented in this way for several years, without much trouble.

  Today (Tuesday 22 may 2012), after seeing the yellow icon in the taskbar, I ran Windows Update and KB2633880 - KB2518864 - KB2572073 successfully installed, I turned off the PC by clicking on the red icon Turn Off with a shield icon, expected for all 3 updates to install, 4-color and for the PC to stop itself. It took a while, but everything went well. No error message.

  After turning on the PC, I went back to Windows Update and was surprised to see Windows Update suggests to install... KB2633880 - KB2518864 - KB2572073 which is the same three components I have installed successfully.

  I ran Microsoft Fix It that 1 issue (update of Windows components needs to be repaired (next line) repair of components Windows Update.) I clicked Next. Everything went well. I had a green check mark 'Fixed '.  I turned off the PC (without having to install 3 updates which I have already installed).

  I turned on the PC and went to Windows Update, asking me to install KB2633880 - KB2518864 - KB2572073. It's like Windows Update does not "see" that these 3 elements have already been installed.

  Note: I have the same problem on another PC. The two PC XP SP3 and are stand-alone PC. One is a desktop computer. The other laptop.
