  Here's what I recommend:

  1 disable UAC. Down comes the restrictions - turn it off completely.
  2 restart your computer for the change to take effect.
  3 re - download the update of security for Microsoft Office System 2007 (KB982331) from the link below:

  4. install. It should work fine.
  5. If it still does not work, try to open all or part of your MS Office applications.

• MXL Script in the Windows box running against Essbase on UNIX

  We use the ESSMSH command on a Windows machine to run a MXL script that runs on an Essbase cube on a Unix machine. The MXL script calls a script to calc which exports a cube's data and writes the output file to a directory on the Unix machine. The MXL script then uses the import command to load the previously exported data. The problem I have is pointing the command to import the file on the Unix machine. I tried to use "dbname IMPORT DATA FROM SERVERTEXT FROM datafile... ", but I can't seem to make it work.
  
  I got a MXL script to work to do the same thing but the throw from a shell on the Essbase server script. It just seems to be delicate at the launch of MXL from machine Windows going against an Essbase cube on a Unix machine.
  
  Someone at - it for implementing recommendations implemented when you launch the MXL script from a Windows machine?

  If you place the file in the app/application/base directory on the Unix server, you should be able to call from the Windows box. I think you have to use a .txt extension.

  the cd starts and I get the CONFIGURATION MENU, WHERE I AM OFFERED OPTIONS to INSTALL ADOBE PHOTOSHOP 5.0 AND ADOBE ACROBAT READER version 3.01 ETC...

  When I click on the icon to install adobe photoshop 5.0, seems not to do anything.

  I have also tried to see if something happens in the Task Manager - task said running - but nothing seems to happen

  You try to install 5.0 just so that you can install the upgrade to 7.0?

  If this is the case, you should not install 5.0.  Just install 7.0 and when it asks you everything what you are upgrading, insert the disc of 5.0 according to its instructions.

  And you are living in the past...   Even Photoshop 7.0 has very limited features compared to what is on sale today (which is 5 newer releases full version).

  It might be time to buy a modern version of Photoshop.

  I am trying to automate the starting and stop all services in a batch scripts. but my essbase is UNIX. I don't have much exp on Unix. can someone help me please to who?

  If you are closing services, you can use maxl like I said of the windows machine.

  To call a script at startup of windows, then you will need to study a little more maybe cygwin openssh, Rexec, telnet... Google is your friend.

• Updates of windows installed and now unable to get online with the Explorer.

  I am running windows vista and installed updates and now cannot get online.  I tried to run the system restore, but that did not help.  This happened once before when the only web sites that I could access were secure web sites, I have changed the security settings and that fixes the problem.  Nothing works for now.

  Hi, I installed Windows Essential 2012 on my gateway (running Windows7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit).  I want to run Family Safety, which currently runs on my two laptops (running Windows 8.1 and Windows7 Home Premium SP1 32-bit).  After you have installed Windows Essentials, when I try to open the parental controls on a standard user account, it will not open a browser window to the parental Windows web page (have IE installed 11).  The program does nothing, even if it shows the Windows parental control as the program of choice.   I tried the following:

  -Repair Windows Essentials 2012 - does not solve the problem

  -Uninstalled and reinstalled Windows Essentials 2012 - does not solve the problem

  -Tried to create a new standard user account - does not allow me to install parental controls with Windows parental control

  -J' I also have to make sure that Windows is up to date, confirmed with Windows Update and all available patches/updates are installed

  I have uninstalled Windows Essentials again and am currently using the basic parental control Windows7, but really want to use the Windows parental control program.  Do you have any suggestions?

  Uninstall the VI Client, reinstall the VI Client, ask Yes for the option to install the upgrade Manager. Then find the icon to your Startmenu (VMware).

  I am currently under a license of the retail of Windows 7 Professional on my desk. I improve my card motherboard and CPU to Skylake, but won't be in my parts until the first week of August. I would like to put 10 Windows on my computer upgraded, but I know that the Windows 10 upgrade offer expires on July 29.

  I prefer to do a clean reinstall disk cloning only. I do either:

  1) upgraded to Win10 now, install my new parts when they arrive, then do a clean reinstall and use my new key Win10?

  or

  (2) keep Win7 for now, install my new parts when they arrive, try a clean reinstall with a USB bootable Win10 and use my old key Win7?

  Also, if I have a retail version of Win7 Pro am I'm going to have problems when I do a clean reinstall on my new motherboard and CPU?

  My computer is running Windows 7 or Windows 8, but I don't want to upgrade right now. Is there anyway that I can always get the free update without missing?

  Hello! I intend to do a clean install of Windows 10 on a new SSD. Already have a 10 Windows of Windows 7 update. Adobe CC is installed. I guess all I have to do is to disable all my Adobe apps, to reinstall Adobe CC and then activate my apps again. This presumption is correct, or is there more to do?
