Updated Windows Live Essentials 2011 a disaster
I am very reluctant to download Windows Live Essentials 2011 as the last time I did, I lost all the contacts. However, I can not actually open Windows Live Mail without updating. Can I substitute this request and not up-to-date with Essentials 2011 at all?
Tip: Windows Live Essentials, not Windows Update, not prompt you to upgrade (update) to Windows Live Essentials 2011 QFE3 (v15.4.3555.0308).
Note: Beginning June 14, 2012, QFE3 is a mandatory upgrade. If you refuse to install, applications Windows Live (including Windows Live Mail) will stop working.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
TIPS:
After update QFE3, sign out of Windows Live Mail and connect again then patiently wait 5 to 10 minutes, leave your account data to synchronize with the new Microsoft back-end database.
Update of Windows Live Essentials 2011 (KB2434419) beat Microsoft Office 2007
Immediately after the installation of Windows Live Essentials 2011 (KB2434419) through Windows Update on my Vista 32 system, Microsoft Office 2007 Ultimate invites to enter the license key code and starts the installation. The normal template is gone/modified so that all the options of the program are returned to default original. I saw this happen at two other PC's today so I know that this isn't an isolated incident. Is asked for license key code in Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. If I don't give the key code, a screen repsonds that installation has been cancelled; However, all the custom settings for the program were still missing.
In all these cases, the BONES and the Office have legitimate activated licenses is not the question.
Just noticed that Outlook lost one email account and the account settings button is broke (grey) so I can't recreate the e-mail account.
Update of Windows Live Essentials 2011 (KB2434419)
Hi eveyone. I get an update of windows Live Essentials 2011 KB2434419 update. Initially, it seemed that he had 2 files included in this update, however, lately, there has been only one file. When I click on allow and install the update, it creates a restore point, and then tries to install. When the update reached 67 to 69 percent, it indicates that a problem has been met, then it goes to uninstall itself. Now, when I go to see the updates were installed, he mentions this update has been successfully installed, but I know for sure that there is not. Can someone help with this problem? Is it possible for me to hide this update so that I no longer receive it or have it installed correctly? Im just frustrated that I see this daily update, and have attmepted to install it so many times, that I am at my wits end and don't want more. Help, please!
Problems with Windows Update for Windows Live Essentials 2011 (KB2434419)
Yesterday, I noticed that there is an update available for my Vista and Windows 7 computers. I started to perform the update. About halfway through, the update hung. I noticed a secondary window jumps to the top. Using the secondary window, I was able to complete the update.
The first update window continued to be hung. I restarted the computer. After the re-start, I have re-opened Windows Update and went to look at the history of the update.
The story says that the update failed with error code:
Windows Live Essentials 2011 update error 0 x 80070643
Whenever I try to install the program Windows Live Essentials 2011 (I have Vista), I keep getting an error that says:
"It looks like a another program prevents the installer from working." Error: 0 x 80070643, Source: crt90-i386. "He gets about 50% each time and then said THAT WHAT could not be installed.What kind of program could possibly be the cause of the installation fails every time? I tried to find a simple solution for days and nobody seems to have a very clear answer! I already rebooted my computer and run the Setup again and I meet all the requirements that Microsoft recommends and it still does not work. What prevents the program to complete the installation?
Hi PlantNerd19,
There could be several causes for this problem; I suggest you try the following steps to refine the question:
Method 1: put the computer to boot and then check if the installation of the program takes place without any problemFollow step 1 in the link below,
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135
Important: n ' forget not the computer to start normal follow step 7 in the link
Method 2: You can see the steps mentioned in the article below, which deals with a similar question
You receive error code 80070643 0 x or 0 x 643, code error when you use the Windows Update or Microsoft Update Web sites to install updates
Important This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. Error: 0 x 80280006 so that he tried to update to Windows Live Essentials 2011
Computer: Compaq Presario PC
Model: SR5130NX
Version of Windows: Vista
Problem: I know exactly what I did to cause this: I would open Windows Live Movie Maker and it asked me to update to Windows Live Essentials 2011. I started to let that happen, but then I thought, ' wait, maybe I should cancel this update and check to see if there is already a newer version (for example, '2012') of Windows Live Essentials "(I had no idea at the time where it's the only version of Windows Live Essentials, should I use for Vista). So I cancelled the update and that's where I made my mistake. He canceled for me and said something along the lines of "it may be a problem with one or more of the programs (such as). Now, if I try to open Windows Live Essentials to start the update, I just get the same message on my screen: a small box entitled, circle of "Windows Live Essentials 2011"with a big red with a white 'X', then to the right of which the title, 'You are installing other programs' there." Then he says below, "Please wait until all other programs are finished installing and then try again." Under the heading 'Détails' he said, "You cannot install, uninstall or repair Windows Live programs while other programs are being installed." Under this sentence: "error: 0 x 80280006" and below, "Source: in_use.
I tried Applications already in the control task manager and nothing related to my problem. I also checked the other answers here to questions similar to mine, but they do not seem to solve my specific problem. Someone will show you please how to undo me, step by step, this problem so I can get the necessary (s) update for Windows Live Essentials 2011 and start making movies with Windows Live Movie Maker? If you can send me to my normal email address:
