Windows Live Mail Inbox

I can not delete more than one email both of my Windows Live Mail Inbox without getting a message "unknown error."  In 2012, I was able to remove hundreds of emails at a time.

If you currently have problems using Windows Live Mail, please try to fix it by following these steps:

Type "Wlarp" into the search (without quotes of course), and then press enter > fix all programs WLE

I just upgraded from Outlook Express to Windows Live Mail.  The color of the list in the Inbox (and all other folders) is so light that it can barely be read.  The brush offers 12 pastel colors and other colors.  The color does not work.  I tried changing the appearance of 3d objects and it does not solve the problem but change the whole Windows color scheme.

A workaround is a simple message rule.

    Box 1: Check: all messages.

Box 2: Check: highlight with color. Click on the blue color and choose black, (no default).

    Name the rule.

  • Symbols up and down a page missing in the Windows Live Mail Inbox.

    Original title: Administrator

On the right side of my Inbox Windows Live Page up-down symbols are missing.  Why?

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

I suggest you to repair Windows live mail as its corruption could be the cause of your problem.

We recommend that you try to repair Windows Live Mail to check if this solves the problem. Before you repair Windows Live Mail, you can back up your files to ensure that you don't lose one of them. You can click this link to find out how to make a backup of your files.

Once your files have been backed up, you can then follow the steps below to fix Windows Live Mail.

    1. Press the Windows key + X, select Control Panel from the list.
    2. Click programs, click uninstall a program.
    3. Find Windows Essentials.
    4. Right-click on Windows Essentials and click Uninstall/Change.
A window will appear asking to delete or repair Windows Essentials.
    5. Choose to repair all program Windows Essentials.

If the repair doesn't work, then we recommend that you uninstall and then reinstall Windows Live Mail. You can follow the same steps as above but choose Remove instead of repair. You can visit this link where you can download a new copy of Windows Live Mail.

Hope it would help. If problem persists always post back with the current state of your computer and the result of the proposed suggestion, we will be happy to help you.

  • Windows Live Mail Inbox does not display the sender first name

In the Inbox Windows Live Mail how can I change the order of the shipper and the Re?  I have two new computers and two new Windows Live Mail.  On one, the command is correct.  Name of the sender is first in bold and easy to see.  On the second computer the Re is the first, in bold.  Name of the sender is second, smaller in size and hard to see.  I want to first see the sender name.  I have Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit for both computers.

You have the pane of folders on the left, the list of messages in the Center and the reading pane on the right.

You see the inconvenience of having the reading pane on the right.  The list of messages is not wide enough to display the number of columns.

You can display the reading pane on the bottom.  View tab, reading pane,... Bottom

At the start of Windows Live Mail first my new emails are sent to the Inbox.  After initial start-up, no future emails will fill the Inbox until I press the icon to send/receive.  I wish that the new emails to load without pushing the send/receive icon. What can I do to make this happen?

    Try:

WLM (2011) - drop the WLM menu (New, save,...) About, exit etc) and select "options". Then choose "e-mail". Click the [general] tab and under "Send/Receive messages" make sure that "the arrival of new messages each ' is checked and set the time both your require checking to do."

Adjust the "if my computer is not connected at this time" also according to the needs.

I hope it'll do what you need.

  • Import messages from Outlook Express to Windows Live Mail Inbox

I can't import my Inbox of Outlook Express to WIndows Live Mail.  I saved my OE Inbox to a file .csv to a flash drive.   I then copied the file from my desktop flash player.   I open Live Mail, import, Microsoft Outlook express and stressed the desktop icon of the file.   I get an error that no message is available.  What I am doing wrong?

Contacts can be saved on one. CSV, no messages file.
OE contacts are stored in a .wab file. You can import this (or a CSV file)
in WLM. Just open WLM, open Contacts, do a file-import-etc.

Your messages in OE are already stored in .dbx files. Copy all the .dbx
files on the XP computer in a temporary folder on the Windows 7 computer.
Be sure to include the folders.dbx file.

then open WLM and don't file - import - etc.

  • preserve in the "Inbox" emails in Windows Live Mail

When the messages are downloaded from my provider ISP (Charter) in my Windows Live Mail Inbox, they disappear at random.  Email I get and then put in the folder delete remains, but not those I decide to leave the Inbox.  I think it may be related to email on my Smartphone (Nokia 925) settings.  I recently changed the POP IMAP settings and this is where the problem started.  Is there a way to change the settings in Windows Live Mail to preserve e-mails in the Inbox?
