Windows Live will not disconnect
Hi, had a few bad days with my account @ [email protected]. I had questionable e-mails being sent to everyone in my Inbox, on various recommendations have changed my password, deleted all sent, deleted and Junk emails, emptied all the cookies and ran Malware Bytes to try to identify the issue.
I saw no additional e-mails (although they have happened at around 02:00 so will check tomorrow) BUT I am now having problems logging on hotmail, when I try, I get an error message saying that Windows Live is not disconnected properly.
Any ideas how to make sure that its newspapers on correctly?
Thank you
Eve

Windows mail will not 'send' why not?
I use windows mail (delivery non-living) as a back-up for Hotmail (as 'things' will not send via Hotmail).
until recently, it worked ok, now - nothing (I can compose emails, look at what's already there etc, but sending, nope).
This seems to have become a problem since I installed ie9 (last weekend) which, in itself, was a problem that caused a breakdawn Ebay, so I had to go back to ie8 via system restore, and then upgrade ie9 in (Ebay is happy now!)
I'm not a 'grumpy' but have just released / back in my gmail ADDRESS in the little 'account' of W.mail still no-go
-am now TOTALLY stuck! Help
Thanks Rose13

Windows Live Mail not send or receive e-mail messages from a Hotmail account
I hope that this has not been answered previously, I searched the site for answers, but nothing helped.
Quick description of the problem:
As a result of an impending change of internet service provider & lose the long date E-mail address associated with the supplier, thought that it is appropriate to create a Hotmail account to avoid losing another email address in the future.
Windows Live Mail 2012 is not playing ball, but when you add the Hotmail account details that have been set up, I get an error message which is: -.
Can't send or receive messages for the Hotmail account (NRaccts).
Server error: 3219
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx '.
Windows Live Mail error ID: 0x8DE00005I use Windows 7 Professional & have not had any problems before with Windows live mail.
I note that a new Hotmail folder has been configured in Windows Live Mail & when I click on I see a message that says that "Windows live mail is synchronize the accounts.» Check back in a few minutes"However this updates never & when I press send/receive I get the above error message.
Would appreciate any assistance with this question please.
Thank you
Chris

I assume you have an hotmail/outlook/live email address.
Microsoft migrates all users to a different format. WLM can be used, but may not be used in 'delta-sync '. It must be used via IMAP.
You must have the latest version of WLM
You must remove the current account (after the registration of your data) and reinstall using IMAP
IMAP for PC
Server of incoming IMAP mailIMAP - mail.outlook.comServer port for incoming IMAP mail: 993; Encryption: SSLOutgoing mail SMTP server
SMTP - mail.outlook.comOutgoing SMTP mail server port: 587; Encryption: SSL (TLS)Server requires authentication (THE)
For more information go here
IMAP for MAC
Outlook.com does support IMAP and SMTP.Incoming server:IMAP: imap - mail.outlook.comPort: 993Encrypted connection: SSLOutgoing server:SMTP: smtp - mail.outlook.comPort: 25 or 587Encrypted connection: TLSUsername: your usernamePassword: your passwordThis does not work on mac os x mail unless you disable the pop in your first outlook.com account. If you have mac os x mail and you do not disable the pop in your outlook.com account first, mail will be automatically set up pop and smtp.
When you are ready, we will be happy to walk you through it

Then I hit the launch, and it appears.
I check my installed programs there. I have check the path, not here. I have no idea where it installed, if it is still installed at all, and if ever, it will install. I'm just trying to play with friends on GTA 4 xD

Windows mail will not send mail
I haven't had any problem send and receive emails with Windows mail up to what a few days ago.
I get the error message is 0x800CCC0F.
It's a simple mail without an attachment file.
I even downloaded and installed Windows Live Mail, but it's the same thing, cannot send emails.
I get emails OK.
I move in [send] mail [project] and click on [send all] and it goes all right, but when I have something in the Outbox, and then it crashes and receive the same error 0x800CCC0F.
Because Windows Live Mail application has failed, I guess that even if I overwright install the OS, which is Vista, it probably does not work...
Have a question there?
Your help is very grateful
Mike
You probably have a message stuck in the Outbox, even if you don't see it.

Windows Live will not open a "dial" new message window
I have my Windows Live Mail related to my GMail account. For a long time that I was able to click on a hyperlink to email address, such as those you find on Craigslist and a new window message new message via the software Windows Live Mail would open. From there, I could write my message and send it, and she would put a copy in the sent items folder of my GMail account. He won't do that now, when I click on the email address, it will open in a new tab in my browser (Google Chrome) and then I can compose and send from there.
The main reason I he want to return to the old way, if possible, because it gave me a way to get read receipts where I can't when I send the message directly through GMail. Thanks for the help,JCPost Windows Live questions in the appropriate forum found here:

We operate Windows Live Mail 2011 with Windows 7. Lately, the program does not send and we get the following error.
The connection to the server has failed
Server: 'smtp.comcast.net '.
Error 0x800CCC0E
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 25
Secure (SSL): No.
Socket error: 10060
Other computers are fine, but use MS Outlook. Windows Live Mail is added to the firewall. Help!
Please follow the instructions on this page to apply the settings recommended for Comcast: to reconfigure your Windows Live Mail client to use SSL instead of port 25
After, click work offline and delete all messages pending from the Outbox (below the records of account in the folders pane). Then close WLMail and wait a few minutes before resuming. Compose a new message to test and send it to yourself. Post a new message in your response.

iPhone 6 on EE - iMessage will not send pictures
My iphone 6 ceased to send pictures through iMessage.
It sends the text through iMessage iMessage works. I tried on wifi and EE 4 g, makes no difference. Receives photos and text via fine imessage. IMessage picture just coming out that is affected.
Tried:
Reset the phone
Turn imessage
Turn FaceTime
Toggle flight mode
Signature to iCloud and folder in
etc (as well as making several of the foregoing in unison)
Wierdly the only time wherever it works is if I send to myself.
When you send someone else, it takes a while, and then the blue bar goes and he says comes under. Then a few minutes after that he changed to fail. Tried to send to several other people and these people can all receive iMessage pictures from third parties is only me that is affected.
I repeat... iMessage works as it sends the text via is not the settings in this sense. It is also not the image size I tried those who have worked in the past.
Any ideas? I tried everything I saw in google searches.
Thank you
iMessage uses data, that this is just a message including a photo. You mention he happens on a wi - fi provided cell also, is that correct? When you talk to reset the phone, are you referring to reset in now the home and sleep/wake set buttons until you see the Apple logo and then release for the iPhone to reboot?
IMessage requires an active internet connection on both sides of the conversation, the sender and recipient. Have you checked with the people you send it? Have you been able to receive a picture of someone with iMessage, wi - fi or cellular? You say that you can send an iMessage with just the text, have you tried to send a picture to someone immediately after their sending just an iMessage with text? iMessage shows that it is active, correct?
The following troubleshooting steps include resetting the network settings, backup restore, factory restore, testing after each step.
PS Ce which means 'abo in the Union? Nevermind, I see you have edited that.

Windows 8 will not send email w / photo fixing
Windows 8... For now, I've got 3 emails blocked in "Outbox" with less accessories full screen (800 Pixel or less).
Impossible to do a right click to make a move as in easy to maneuver the XP versions. I see in the older versions of MSN you can delete email accts and start again. I have 4 accounts of mail and the thought of having to put in place anything that makes me think certainly there must be another way...
Any help appreciated...
L
