Windows Media CENTER stops during playback TV
Using Vista and HVR-1800 tuner, Windows Media Center stops (with warnings and sometimes rebooting Windows, but shutsdown) TV.
Update your tv tuner card driver. Visit the manufacturer's Web site to download and install the latest version of the driver.
Also look at the event viewer to find any clue, associated with such embarrassing behavior.

I have remove Microsoft framework 4 as suggested in a post about a similar problem, but nothing has changed
Hello
Some USB TV tuners that were included with Windows XP Media Center Edition 2004 systems do not have a unique serial ID. You may experience this problem if you use one of these TV tuners and its driver with Windows XP Media Center 2005. If your computer has been upgraded to Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 from Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2004, you can solve the problem by installing the latest driver for your TV tuner. Contact your hardware manufacturer to determine the existence of a Media Center 2005 compatible device driver for your TV tuner.
For more information about your hardware manufacturer, visit the following Web site:
http://support.Microsoft.com/GP/vendors/en-us
It will be useful.

Today, COMICS Guide stops at October 24, 2014. I expect it to be complete until October 29, 2014. Any attempt to force a download is successful but only until October 24, 2014.
Microsoft know about this?
They do nothing to solve it - before I stop recording of all the favorite again TV show?
How can I check this?

I reinstalled the latest drivers for the Hauppauge, as well as the latest version of WinTV 7. The same mistakes occur in WinTV 7.

After the upgrade, only the specific movie channels in Media center play is more (Record) after approximately 6 seconds.
(Do not forget that there is a function of pause/forward who s equivalent to check-in for DRM)Get a message from copying prohibited.Looks like the upgrade of the processor messed up somehow DRM rights for this machine, to the point where no films previously saved are playable AND NO NEW FILMS can be registered and enrolled in some way a Canadian Film Channel. (Bell Expressvu - channels 300 + Movie Network)Delete the contents of the file DRM (archive first)c:/program data/microsoft/windows/drm.Restarted...Partial contents of the folder have been recreated...Problem remains. Can Watch all the channels, but those who are 'Movie channels' stop after about 6 to 10 seconds and display a Message of copying prohibited. The broadcaster has banned this content to be copied. You can only read this content on the same computer on which it was recorded.Note: I don't like on my OLD recorded movies... In fact already deleted... I just want to be able to watch the movie channels and save NEW ones...Well after 4 days of effort + a fix was finally discovered...

"created the slideshow" inside loop problems (Windows Media Center) during playback
Why didn't Windows Media Center during playback of a repeat of the start file "slideshow created with music" and / or "loopback", with only the first 20 or so (on perhaps a 100 total on the full slideshow) slides or photos over and over again without showing the rest of the majority of the slides at all?
Hey trasel,.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to include another small video clip for an existing video on which you have already created.
However, you can create a new slide and add it to the existing one.
Check out the link below howcreate slide shows in Windows Media Center:

How to get Vista Windows Media Center to really stop video
During playback of a video in WMC the stop button takes me to the screen with various options beginning with 'Done '. When
'fact' is selected the video goes into the small PIP with square stopped blue and remains here and in "Now Playing".How do I really stop a video rather than have him act as if he is only suspended.
When I press 'stop' and 'fact' I want that it shut down completely.
Hi Dazema,
It is the occurrence of same process even in my computer when any type of video. This is normal.
You can also pass the option to click on the left arrow to return to Windows Media Center options after stopping the video or the video playback.
