Windows media player syncs with USB

My windows with my USB drive automatically media Player syncs.

How to stop what is happening to the form?

I opened WMP and there is nothing in the sync menu drop down.

homicide on Thursday

What type of USB key?  What is a flash drive?  What is the manufacturer, brand and model?  Some flash drives launch synchronization on their own without settings in Media player using only an Autorun feature - but I need to know what car I take care as there are hundreds of ads for many, many different readers.  It should be possible to disable the 'function' in the flash player (although I do not know how at the moment as it varies from one model to and depends of what software was loaded and which AutoPlay functions have been activated).

I do not have it this is a problem with WMP, but with the player - but we'll see.

Thank you and I look forward to your reply with answers so we can try to understand what is happening (and why) and how to stop it.

Good luck!

  • Using Windows Media Player 11 with laptop and projector

I finished recently update my laptop after an OS re-install and updates over a period of 2 weeks.

I want to be able to play a video with windows media player by a projector.  The last time I did (before this whole saga has arrived), I was able to play the video on the projector mode full-screen, and still controls the media player on the computer screen.

The problem is - I forgot how do.

I managed to connect and drive the projector OK, so there is no problem.  I can't remember how to organize the media player to run in full screen on the projector with the controls on the laptop.

I discovered how do - just move the Windows player (mainly) on the projection screen, and then press ALT + ENTER to switch to full screen mode.  On the screen of the laptop, and then drag the Windows Media Player.  In this way, you have the controls at your fingertips and the presentation in full screen on the projector.

  • How can I prevent Windows Media Player rebuilds with duplicate songs, that I deleted?

I moved my music files in Windows Media player for this computer with a 1 TB harddrive that I use just for storing music on. When I moved the music files from the computer Windows XP first putting them on a hard drive for the copy and paste and then transfer them to the hard drive of my M:\ the drive on this computer, many duplicates were transferred. I want to remove duplicates. I did this by pressing Ctrl and pointing out the duplicates and then pressing DELETE, and they are then deleted. But after that, it is a small blue arrow that goes down in the lower-right corner of Windows Media player from up and said "Equalization of the Volume" followed by the names of the songs, that is to say several times. M:\.... "For Windows Media player media recovery and rebuild as if it was before I deleted the duplicate songs? I want to also all my songs to be the mp3 type and some are mp4, so how do I fix all the songs to make them of type mp3. Thanks for any help.

MP4 is usually a video file, I honestly didn't even know MP4 pourrait be used for audio, but this is beyond my skills.  I know that to convert files types, you will need to download a conversion program, Microsoft is no not any program that can do this.

As for the deleted files that appears, open the Organize menu at the top of the media player, select 'manage libraries' and make sure that it is scanning the correct files.

If the correct files are analyzed and double presents itself once again, right click on a song in double and select properties to find its location.  And then delete it from here, rather than media player directly.

You don ' say what version of WMP you currently have, but I strongly recommend to install the latest version from the Microsoft web site. It is possible that your current version is corrupt somehow.

  • What is the latest version of Windows Media Player compatible with WM 6.5?

I have a HTC Touch Pro 2 running Windows Mobile 6.5 smartphone.  What is the latest version of Windows Media Player, I can use?

    You can not.

Your question was not entirely clear.

WMP is for XP, not the HTC device. If you have Windows mobile on your HTC, then it will be a Media Player built into it. If you have the latest version, AFAIK you update from 6.5 to what is the latest version of Windows Mobile. If its 6.5, then you already have the latest version.

You can also see the MS Windows Mobile...

    See you soon,.

I went on wmp to sync mp3 files on my Creative Zen MP3, but when I try and synchronize it always already says "on the currency." But when I check my mp3 songs are not on the device. If anyone has a solution please tell me.

    Hi QALY,

Formatting the player Creative Zen MP3 should help you solve the problem of synchronization.

Note: Formatting the player Creative Zen MP3 will delete all the data on the MP3 player. Make sure to save your songs before formatting the MP3 player.

After formatting the MP3 Player try to check if you can sync without any problems.

Downloaded 5 music files on iPod Shuffle from Windows Media Player 9, Windows XP operating system. I have to go back to WMP 9 to this get rid of WMP 11?

    Hi Rebeni,

This is what iTunes installed on your computer?

IPod is designed to be used with iTunes. Windows media player cannot sync with iPod shuffle, you must install the plugin for windows media player sync with iPod to third party.

NOTE: Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be resolved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

Check if the iPod shuffle is getting recognized in Device Manager.

    i. click Startand then click run.

II. type devmgmt.msc, and then click OK. Open the Device Manager window.

III. in the Device Manager search for the name of the device

    Go back with the results.

  • Mobile device does not synchronize with Windows Media player

My mobile device (Pharos Traveler 137) running windows media 10 mobile player is not detected by Windows Media Player 11 running in Vista.  Connected and synchronized correctly for months, it is not so now, even if the mobile device is detected by the computer and synchronizes correctly for other purposes such as outlook, files, etc..   How to get Windows Media Player to detect once more unit (specifically the card 8 GB storage) in the window of synchronization?

  • Sync on Windows Media Player

I'm trying to sync in Windows Media Player using an SD memory card and also I tried to use the storage Flash Drive (USB).  I clicked the sync up, but there is no recognition of the other.  I've refreshed but without success.  I've wound up Media Player and open again with success.  How can I synchronize to these storage units?

    Hi jchannah,

1 what the flash card or SD card has been recognized by Windows?

2 have you tried sync with these devices?

First of all, you need to configure the device to sync in windows media player.

    For more information see:http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/knowledgecenter/howto/mp11/sync.aspx

If you can not sync in Media player then try the manual synchronization.
