It seems that Apple QuickTime is maybe at fault...
have you recently installed QuickTime? If_Yes... maybe
uninstalling QuickTime is worth a try.
Would it be possible to do a system restore to a
time prior to this problem?

Movie Maker crashes when the publication to computer
My OS is Vista. I use Windows Movie Maker to splice a longer video into parts. I separated it into 32 parts and I saved every part as his own movie, except one. I have successfully registered all other parties. The part that gives me the problem stalls edition to 99%. I can cancel the edition and try again, but the same thing happens. I tried to make it there from the largest file again, and it still crashes. I left it for a much longer time than the other videos to see if he needed more time, but there was no change. I also tried saving them in different folders, and I tried to save it in different ways. I tried to restart the program, but that did not help either. Is there a reason why this is happening? What can I do to fix it so I can publish it?

Uncheck all filters / OK. Now, try to post the video to your
hard drive. If this does not work... go to... Tools / Options / tab compatibility and check...
"Restore all defaults" / OK. Once more try to publish on your

Film shot in Windows Movie Maker crashes after 6 seconds during playback in Windows Media Player
I have a film created (1 minute, 20 seconds) in Windows Movie Maker of two short videos to YouTube. The original files were .mp4 files and I converted the .wmv files. I cut 7 seconds since the start of the first video and just linked the two original videos into one. No special effects. Plays well in Windows Movie Maker. Save the file as an .mswmm file (required by Movie Maker) and then published as a .wmv. When I play it in Windows Media Player, he plays for 6 seconds, then freezes, but the bottom bar is moving, as if he is playing. I tried to do the same thing without clipping 7 seconds from the beginning - same result. I used WINFF (free Converter). Any ideas? Thanks for your help.
Hello RachelPierce,
1. what happens when you try to play the files with Windows Movie Maker?
This problem can be caused by codecs supporting not the file that you created. If you use a converter, I suggest that you convert the files to MPEG format and verify if you are able to play the files.

Hi t3z,.
Try the steps below to have the title of continuously visible:
a. to ensure that you are with a view to the timeline, click the view menu and then click Calendar.
b. Select the title you want to change the duration.
(c) to extend the playing time of the title, drag the end trim handle toward the end of the timeline.

Hi I'mafteru.
1. don't you make changes before the show?
Sometimes no Microsoft programs running on the computer may cause this problem. Try the following steps:
Step 1: Check if a non-Microsoft program is causing this issue
see How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State .
b. restart the computer and check if the problem persists. If the issue is not persistent, then from the article, follow the method 1 and method 2 to find out if any program is causing the problem.
c. Once you have found the culprit which is the program that is causing the problem, then uninstall it or reinstall once more to solve the problem.Note: Article, remember to follow 'steps to configure Windows to use a Normal startup state. "
Step 2: Remove the unwanted registry entry
a. see the CD-R or CD-RW drive is not recognized as a recordable device
b. follow the steps in the article, and then restart the computer.
c. check to see if the problem persists.Important: Modifying the registry incorrectly or remove will cause serious damage to the computer. It is recommended to back up the registry before you edit it.
