Hello
Frequently, I use Windows Movie Maker to edit videos of my friends... But WHENEVER I have to edit a video, and I play it back it ALWAYS freezes... Not the program, but the video Clip... And when I publish it, it freezes EVEN in the video as the preview... My ONLY solution is to keep cutting & removing parts of the video, but my videos are always less than 5 Minutes of time... Please HELP if you can... Thank U...
Oh, I already know about the Type of Format already... All my videos are 'WMV '... And besides that & "AVI", any other Type of video Format won't let you edit video, he would go to the Audio Section... But I checked my memory @ BobinSECO and my computer says it was good & right now to 4.0 GB (RAM)...

Sync audio/video Windows Movie Maker problem
When you use Windows Movie Maker 5.1 to capture video from my Panasonic PV-GS39 DV camera, audio is 15 seconds ahead of the video. Anyone know what is the cause or how to fix it? No other programs are running at the time of the capture.
Windows Movie Maker 5.1
Windows XP Service Pack 3It is difficult to say why Windows Movie Maker would be to have this problem, but my recommendation would be to eliminate it from the video capture process. There is an excellent free program called WinDV you can use to capture video on your computer, then you can change using Windows Movie Maker, once the capture is complete. Video capture questions can be exasperating. Along with other instructions of troubleshooting, I explain why you might want to use WinDV in a tutorial on video troubleshooting.

Windows movie maker problem: video cut or turns off
I have windows vista on my computer and I tried to use the windows movie maker program to make a music video. the video I got was originally in MP4 format so I used Format Factory to convert WMV (I also did AVI). for some reason when I'm working on the video images goes off and I can't see the stage. Sometimes I get the picture but most of the time I don't have. I also tried to use AVI format but the problem is always the same.
I read and I think it would be that the resolution could be the problem, if so, how can I change that on Format Factory? It could also be that Format Factory is perhaps not good enough, are there other free conversion programs I could use?other than that, I don't know why the image freezes (music plays again)any kind of help will be greatly appreciated!Format Factory is a good converter but I also

Windows Movie Maker is important video imcompletely (only five seconds to hour long video)
I tried to import this hour long video in windows movie maker, and the result is that only five seconds of the video is imported. I tried over and over again, but still five seconds of the video is imported. I have searched the Internet for answers, but impossible to find a single solution to all but one of this forum that leads to a page for the Director in windows vista, which certainly does not help. Any help on this situation would be greatly appreciated. If it helps, I am running Service Pack 2 for Windows XP Home 32-bit Edition.
The extension is (.mpg). I've just updated to Service Pack 3, but the problem is still persistent... Right, the Windows Movie Maker version is 5.1, if it helps.
=====================================
The problem is the file format. If you convert the MPG file
in WMV format, you can have better results.Several formats are apparently compatible with
Movie Maker, but the most reliable choices are:Photos - bmp
Video - wmv or dv - avi
Music - wma, wav, wmvThe following freeware can convert:

left click on the toolbar, the "Option" button and
"Select an output folder to" / apply / OK.
(this is where you find your files after they)
are converted)Drag and drop your video clips on the main screen...
Select "all to WMV" / OK...
Click on... Beginning... in the toolbar...
That should do it...

Problem creating Windows DVD? Or Windows Movie Maker problem?
Hello! I created a slide show in Windows Movie Maker, which plays on my computer without problem. Now, I try to burn it to a DVD by using the Windows DVD authoring application. I was able to burn my DVDs sucessfully using the wizard and when I put it in the DVD player I get the main menu I created.
I press play and start my video, but he plays 16 seconds and everything goes black. Time continues to roll until the full 3 minutes are up, but I have 16 seconds of my film. I burned 3 DVD and it did the same thing.
Can someone help me with what I'm doing wrong?
Hi Khsb14,
Have a. you been able to watch the video before burning?
B. did burn the DVD?
C. is the DVD burner connected properly
D. is the audio work after the 16th s?
E. do you have a mistake when he went to the black screen?
This could be a problem with the burner DVD or the method of engraving. Try the following methods.
Method 1
Previewing your DVD, you can view the photos and videos on this subject. Check if the full video is seen in the preview. This can help you determine if you want to make changes to the DVD before burning the disc.
- In the ready to burn DVD page, click Preview.
- To read the DVD preview, click play in the control screen.
- To control the playback, click Pause , play , previous chapter or next chapter , according to what you want to do.
- To display the DVD menu, click Menu. Click on the top, bottom, right, or arrows left to go in this direction on the DVD menu preview, and then click the Enter button to play the selected menu item. Click OK when you are done previewing the DVD.
Check the link for more information.
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/burn-a-DVD-video-disc-with-Windows-DVD-Maker
Method 3
Choose a speed slower burn to your DVD recorder as follows:
- Return to the Add pictures and video to the DVD page and then click on Options.
- In the DVD burning speed box, select medium or slow.
I hope this helps.

In Windows Movie Maker HELP "FOR THE DURATION of the CHANGE" 2. ' "says to" select title you want to change the duration. How to "choose" the title?
