  Follow these steps and check if the problem persists.

  Step 1:

  I would say you turn off the automatic updates (not recommended however) and install the updates manually ensuring that you will refrain from any installation problem causing updates unless it says "important updates.

  a. log in Windows XP to your administrator account. Click 'Start', then right-click "My computer" and select "Properties".
  b. Select the "Automatic updates" tab and then click on "Turn off automatic updates."
  c. click 'OK' to turn off the automatic updates.

  Step 2:

  You can also test the issue in a State of clean boot in safe mode (after installing updates).

  Note: Don't forget to restart your computer as usual.

On the HP site, there is a driver for the Conexant map bot no driver for Intel High Definition Audio card. 10 Windows itself is not find a driver for this sound card. • Want H8-1534: could not start HP Envy H8-1534 pc after Windows update 10, 1607

  Windows 10 has made automatically update 1607 (KB3176936) on the pc of my wife (HP Envy H8-1534) about 6 days ago. Since then I could not start the pc the first time I turn it on.

  When I hit the power button on the monitor lights up with the HP logo on black screen as usual but the loading icon (spinning points) does not start. Fans start, but there is no activity on the Tower in the way of flashing lights or beep sounds.
