I still have a problem with the response time. When I reduce to a minimum any page and take backup it takes 20-30 seconds before my cursor reacts.

I had a problem with my macbook pro for a while now where the machine becomes completely insensitive and I pressed the power button to restart. Quick selection is SLOW to respond. Help, please.

Steps to follow:
To re-create the Photoshop preferences files, start the application while pressing Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Windows) or command + Option + shift (Mac OS). Then, click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop settings file?"

Keyboard and screen slow to respond
We have an esxi40 server and we have created a virtual machine that is running windows 2003 os with applications that run on it. We have people who use the server terminal server to access. We've set it for 1 cpu and 2 gigabytes of memory. Looks like when we have around 20 users connected, as the day progresses, we'll have maybe one or two people call and tell us that when the open Notepad or excel and try to type something, they receive slow responses and when they try to open a tab they have mininized, it is slow to respond.
It is: I don't get because of this alarm on the control even if it seems to be a memory problem.

Firefox is very slow to respond when you open and almost always unresponsive altogether, refusing even to respond to Manager task "End program" command. Windows XP stops responding during defragmentation of files larger than 2 gigabytes.
This is a really annoying problem and can affect others out there. I have two new XP Pro machines with processors dual core who have some great backup files and Virtual PC files. When I run the Defragmenter from windows or any Defragmenter also when large files are treated especially towards the end of a move of a file XP or, generally, Windows Explorer stops responding until the move is complete.
I can't access the start menu, the Manager of tasks or programs that are already running while moving large files is ongoing. I ran the defragmenter in safe mode and appears not to happen. I used MSconfig start in diagnostic conditions and could not reproduce the problem, but I seem to lose some of my starting points had to restore from a backup. Both computers are material different but similar software configs.

Well, I have increased my ram to 4 GB motherboards and the problem seems less obtuse with just a light gel or anything when the defragmentation of large files. I understand that the Windows API moves the files into 1 GB chunks using Defragmenter then maybe it wasn't adequate memory and xp was the pagination.
Not quite sure it's fixed, but it seems that Yes, so I increased the ram too in my other machine to 4 GB. I know only 3.25 is usable, but maybe the extra 1 GB makes the difference?

When I try to open: My Documents, Control Panel, any Office application, etc. - the window remains empty and said "Windows Explorer (not responding)." My desktop icons are filled and I am able to open the Task Manager.

I had installed the update of MS Windows Defender KB915597. After doing a restore to the point of restoration, taken at the time of the update, I am now able to open Windows Explorer.

I saw a folder compressed zipped into my new pc windows 8.1 with internet icon on this topic because I have a right click on this folder and open it in a new window, it stops responding. I restart my pc bt it doesnot work, until then when I opened the desktop it shows that file with Explorer zipped folder.

Windows 8 media library is slow to respond to the mouse clicks
I added the media library with free product key, but the app is completely unusable because it takes several minutes to respond to a mouse click and I have to restart. Other applications in Windows 8 Pro work very well and my computer is fast and a full scan recent antivirus shows nothing abnormal. 38 Firefox slow to respond or crashes without other options?
After the latest Firefox 38.0.1, it became unusable. I tried several different suggestions found on the forum and through Google searches, but noting seems to cure my problem.
I use MSN as my home page and at first thought it was the root cause, but using IE I don't have the issue of the suspension. I tried the resettlement, refreshing, new profile creation, to update all the drivers of video material and others etc. but can't seem to find the key...
The only thing that seems to relieve symptoms is to use the "noscript" and "adblock more ' Add-ons.
