Windows the redesign

I am running LabVIEW on virtual machines, and I get constant redesign of my LV Windows, making me lose track of the active VI. When recording or at random times when project desides he must update some VI due to a fluctuation quantum all movements. My previously active VI usually lands somewhere in the middle. If I click or press for example ctrl + e while it's the mixture I have no idea what window will actually receive and activate the command. Often the CTRL + e is found in the project window and click of the mouse in the window that then ends up at the top, even if it wasn't the window, I was clicking in.

ALT - tab or alt - tab + mouse click is by no means guaranteed to pick up my window, I usually have to try 3 times before the correct VI appears. Often the selection process triggers a new shuffle.

If I remember the name of the VI I watched (I'm fixing an old program) I can get to the good VI through the list (ctrl + shift + w) VI (which leaves some wishes of its own, like why I can't change the tab to VI name order is first tab)

I thought I found a good way to browse the VI of ctrl-tab, but it seems overhaul at halfway. It can be seen as I guess I should be a tabbing through all the windows in the order, but I get models like: A, B, C, D, E, C, D, F, G, H, B.

None of you had this problem? Tips, trix, correct? Is it VMware? Virtual display drivers? LV?

I can't estimate how long it took, but % is a lot every day.

It doesn't matter what version or environment you are, in my experience.

This seems to happen that projects are getting bigger.

A few tips that may help:

1. work in the main forum and not a project. Projects go big, different strange things can happen when you are working from a project instance. Otherwise try to break down a project into smaller subprojects.

2 do you have screws under open

3. just guessing this might help: keep your files compiled (without the asterisks) or code compiled separately in all / most of your files.
