  Hi Please help I tried to solve the problem for a few days now and I'm running out of ideas.

  I can't download windows updates at all because I get error 800 b 0001.  I tried to go bad it and found the solution to download windows update readiness tool.  I downloaded this but trying to install it, I get the message: Setup autonomous windows update encountered an unkown error 0x800b0001 trust provider.  I have no idea why this is happening, probably I should be able to install anyway?

  I also tried a solution I found in the forum who said to open start > run and enter a few commands such as regsvr32 initpki.dll.  There are a number of different commands eneter but this one declaring failed:

  The module 'initpki.dll' failed to load.

  Make sure the binary is stored at the specified location or debug it to check for problems with the binary .dll or individual files to load.

  The specified module could not be found

  Please help with this I'm really stuck and don't know what to do.

  I am running Windows 7 and I am currently not able to install a bunch of Windows updates, obtaining the credits, "Code 800 b 0100: windows update encountered an unknown error."

  I tried all the suggestions on https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/956702, none has helped.

  I ran Windows troubleshooting and got the error code: 0x800736B1.

  How can I fix? It seems that there is some random internet companies offering downloads that claim to solve the problem, but I don't know if one of them is trustworthy. I would rather solve this problem using products/patches from Microsoft.

  I fixed recently updated, unless by a simple change of registration.

  Click Start > run Regedit as administrator > find HKLM\Components > rename the line that reads 'pendingrequired' D_word to "pendingrequired = 1".

  On some PCs, you won't find the HKLM\Components.  The registry entry will be under machine Hkey\local > components

  I am currently in the process of implementation 32 Surface RT tablets for my school and I managed with 31 of them. However, with a single device, I am having an error in WIndows Update that I can't update my device and therefore prevents me from installing Windows 8.1.
  When I choose to do a manual update, the message I get is:

  Code 800 b 0101"
  I tried refreshing Windows and rearmament and had the same questions again and again. I tried troubleshooting from a number of websites with no luck. It is a last resort for me.
  A little history:
  The Tablet has changed or installed on it - it's a cool feature. However, he had an activation problem where I was unable to activate the machine online. To work around this problem, I ended up having to manually activate by phone. All other devices have been activated automatically via the internet.

  Solved the problem. It seems that not putting the right date, Microsoft did not update. Solution: Calendar set to correct the date and time and it should work. :)

  The problem ended that my time was not correct... A simple mistake.

  I made a new installation on an SSD, and I had trouble with the update.  Once I read this post, I checked my clock and it was wrong.  After the synchronization of the it, the update tool worked.

  I had a problem with the installation of Office 2010 by hanging up.  I right click on computer, then selected to manage services and stop the print spooler service.  Installation ended quickly after that.  I met the same problem with office 2010 SP1 update.  Again, I've had to stop the print spooler service and installed ok.  Not really sure why except that they are arguing the CPU resources (CPU meter gadget has been set during installation has failed).
