Windows Update, I tried everything

INTRO: I have a PROBLEM of Windows Update 7/8!  Been using the internet on this pc for years, it is a problem of update.  Not a simple question and fix.  I know because I tried all forums, all the comments, all positions, and each miracle of Microsoft whose update agent, diagnosis, update patches to it as Windows6. 1 - KB3135445 - x 64, cmd start stop updating... check the registry folder for 1 no 0 in the file, by changing the name of the System 32 folder software distributed to .old, deletion of log files.  Changing the settings of firewall to allow everything and nothing, check the proxy deny ports from the server, found I have no proxy I'm live connected, talk to providers on security which gave me a good walk how implement.  I scanned with many anti virus programs, I ran a few utilities to repair the registry and other files... ran disk clean up.  Update Services and the other 2 apps, Background Intelligent Transfer Service properties are configured to start automatically, I added a 'network' for the 3 other/user/administrator system, now network.  net stop wuauserv, stop bits, stop cryptserv, change check updates, do not check the updates, check I would like to install, ever check,... LITERALLY EVERYTHING!  Summer of 4 days and 300 photos along the way.

Part 1: that is the problem.  Windows Update runs ('check updates') but returns nothing, at the beginning there were updates, but showed 0/KB updates install them on screen and this problem has never changed and after a few attempts to fix it shows there is no update to install to remedy that he's looking for updates as no stop.  It also now shows ("' updates have been installed: never" ") instead of the more recent (' updates have been installed: 01/01/2016")

PART 2: I get updates from other sources, like java and flash, I UPGRADED WINDOWS 10 and he has worked to solve this problem, but the update of windows 10 worms down in the taskbar seems to come from another server of Microsoft Update I guess.  WF, 'The field profile' incoming is set to enable, so is Public domain and private tabs.

Error codes popular Microsoft gave me especially.
1.) IS OF the SCREEN UPDATE the Code 800800005 ('error occurred when checking for updates")
2.) THIS IS to pop up Windows Update standalone install ("Setup has encountered an error: 800800005...") Server execution failed")
(3.) when I tried net stop wuauserv, and then net stop cryptServc control box says System 5 error has occurred.  Access is denied.  (could I was not running as an administrator at the time)?
4.) tried to download update for windows 7 for x 64-based systems (KB3135445), but could not download initially and then when she did nothing.

5.) WINDOWS UPDATE TROUBLESHOOTING REPORT = Rootcause: RC_DataStore, error code: 0 x 80070057
Having said that many things are not wrong, udate is missing, or market, nothing cirrupt variable are correct, cryptographer is registered...
but he also says that the problem is "Not fixed" Windows Update error 0 x 80070057(2016-07-26-T-03_57_45P)
6.) page websites Microsoft Malware Protection shows the Malicious Software Removal Tool, but when you click it says page does not exist, find another page and clicked 'Download' in bright orange, the button was, but it would not download, as it was not there.
7.) downloaded Microsoft Diagnostics and Recovery Toolset (DaRT), but it does nothing if clicked.
8.) THIS IS TO UPDATE SCREEN Code 80244019 ("error occurred when checking for updates") it is the update screen earlier and still showed dates the latest updates being installed.
Part4: I want windows management Instrumentation (WMI) to connect if windows firewall, there are 2 checkboxes for this it uses DCOM, so I'm not sure of WMI.

Part5 :) The problem major is that Windows Update uses 25% of my RAM, making my fan speed, placement error connect on my pc, and that even if it goes out, it restarts itself just when the pc is started.  So I need to remove the update, or all prior updates of about 300 numbers updates have been installed.  Can I just uninstall all?

The value of the automatic updates to "never check updates" and then restart Windows. Then try again...

  • New SSD in T430, Windows does not, tried everything...

    Hello

I bought a T430 a week ago. I'm not completely inept with computers: I have successfully added an another 4 GB of RAM with no problems.

Then I wanted to replace my HDD with my SSD. I know that the SSDS works because he was in another laptop. I put it in an external dock; It hooked up to my T430. He allowed. I kept safe backup HARD drive, I used several times since then. I also did a recovery of Windows on a CD disc.

I cloned the HARD drive on my SSD using EaseUS software and said to make it bootable. It didn't for me, so I blamed the software.

Then I used Acronis True Image to make a bootable copy of my setup on a USB key. I turned on the computer with just the SSD (empty) and tried to load the USB key. My computer does not recognize the bootable copy of white point. Everything takes back me to a screen asking me which drive I want to start since several times.

Good then, I said, clone the HDD to the SSD and try the bootable USB. Has done this, but it had no effect. Same problem as above.

Okay okay, let's try a new installation on the SSD using the recovery disk. That's when the real fun happens. I get to the menu on the theme of Lenovo System Recovery, and I click Next. Then I get a warning message saying "this version of the System Recovery Options is not compatible with the version of Windows that you want to repair. Try to use a recovery disc that is compatible with this version of Windows. What? I did only this morning. I don't think that the main Windows updates has been since then! (Just in case, I made an even more recent recovery disc tonight. I had the same error).

Then I erased the SSD and tried the recovery on the own SSD disk. Same mistake once again. Recovery disks do not work, the system does not recognize the USB copy and the SSD cloned (and allegedly boot-loan) does not start.

What is going on? All I'm doing is replace my with my SSD HARD drive and running Windows 7. I don't think it would be this hard

    Some additional points:

-I'm inserting readers. The computer can read it is a series of 840 Samsung SSD.

-There is no problem with the USB. My office can read very well and sees that there are 29GB of stuff there.

-J' have changed the boot order in the BIOS to load the disk USB (or CD) first.

-J' disabled the safe boot option in the BIOS.

-J' tried UEFI, inheritance, etc. etc., mixture of both.

-Yes, it's a legitimate copy of Windows. It came with the computer a week ago. There is [i] might [/ i] a question I try to reinstall Windows 7 on SSD, but the only recovery disks that come with the computer are Windows 8... but then how do I get Win 7 on my SSD?

-J' looked for in the forums. None of the solutions proposed (for most listed above) have worked.

Any help would be appreciated, people.

I had one extra hiccup. The disc of Windows 7 could not find the product key for activation/product on the BIOS. Couldn't any semi-douteux program I downloaded. So I could not allow Windows 7.

I called Lenovo. They said it was my fault for using disks of Windows recovery instead of Lenovo recovery disks. (God forbid! It really should not matter. It is a terrible approach the part of Lenovo who their initial recovery disks gave me an error about the licenses, but yet they apparently do not support the Windows stocks recovery disks.) In any case, after that I said to the officer - in my polite way - that it is a ridiculous scenario, she offered to send me Lenovo recovery disks.

I agreed. They arrived today. I reinstalled Windows and now everything works fine.

In the case where someone reads this thread in the future: ask Lenovo will send you recovery disks Win 7 Pro and use after the installation of the SSD. It considerably facilitates the process.

And please no mods who just copy and paste the same answer to every question... I want to help legitimate working :/

"I know that he should not have to do with my graphics card, because I know people who also have the game works very well with an integrated graphics card. Thanks in advance! ^_^"

Just to unravel the terminology. There is no 'card' with integrated graphics. There are
chips on the motherboard for some, but the graphics card Intel are part of the cpu.
As with graphics cards, Intel HD graphics card not all are created equal, so if your machine doesn't have the same processor as the 'other' it doesn't have the same onboard graphics.
You cpu has HD3000 graphics that should be enough run the game, but you have
starting with some settings and resolution and work your way to the top if the game runs OK.
In addition, the different laptop models have a different amount of VRAM dedicated, then
If your model has only 64 MB of VRAM, it is less likely to work the game.
If your machine is not the same brand and model and does not have the same software
configuration settings and system as the 'other' it can not be compared accurately.
Many small things add up to a big difference.

Describe the crash - lock-up, black screen?
Screen black accidents are common with FO3, and anything that can be done is to try and
minimize them. camera comes with the question of four cores, or by using the settings too high.
It can also be your anti-virus. Try disabling that before launching the game.

"And please no mods who just copy and paste the same answer to every question...". I want legitimate help that works :/ »
This is done especially in the absence of details ("my game not start what to do?)
    in the original post.
You have to start somewhere and the cut and paste is generally these steps which must always be taken. There are no shortcuts to troubleshooting, and assuming that "which can not be she" can lead to more frustration, especially after several hours of stuffing about to find that's all (* headbang *).
It said that some of the answers cut and paste are not yet on the subject, but it is a
Forum of the community of civilians, would be nice.

    Ok then.
-You tried the 'quad cord fix? You don't need with a dual core cpu and use
may be counterproductive. Like the game runs better on two hearts he can also help
to disable hyperthreading on the cpu, that two "virtual" cores more equals four.
-That you have installed the game using Vista sp1 compatibility mode. (Note I said installed)-
-You have installed the Windows 7 codec pack to solve the problem of ffdshow, or used another
    method.
-You have installed all Windows updates
-The game has been patched and you have not yet installed mods.
-You do not use Anti-aliasing, Bloom, HDR or V-sysnc (which use too many resources for your HD graphics card).
-Do you have a pagefile (virtual memory) enabled?
-What parts of the .ini correct you?

If the above does not work, try to make a Bootable ERD to do a Startup Repair:

As is the case with most computers/laptops these days, they do not come with good Vista disc to repair only the recovery disks.

As your grave in the category above, download the ISO on the link provided and make a bootdisk of it.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

You can make a tool to restart system, System Restore, etc. with it.

Read all the info on the website on how to create and use it.

Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.

  • Fix for common problems associated with Windows Update repeatedly trying to solve the same problem

When the machine running Windows Update on a Windows XP Professional (SP3 with IE8), the information for the download of the ActiveX bar does not appear. Tried to run the Fix for "Common problems with Windows Update" and it says "Windows Update components must be repaired. Difficulty-it short, reports of success, "Found Themes" saying "one or more components of Windows Update are configured incorrectly". However, still unable to download updates from the information bar does not appear. Repeating the difficulty happens with exactly the same problem i.e. reports etc. but no success still can not download the ActiveX on Windows Update since the information bar never shows up.

At tried all the suggested solutions I can find for the reported similar problems such as checking the downloads ActiveX security settings, reset Internet Explorer settings, and even resetting Windows Update (Articlce ID 971058) components. Still no luck. Therefore, I am unable to manually check and download updates of Windows security.

Otherwise my PC works well. Norton Internet Security is installed but did not prevent Windows Update to work on another PC I have. The information bar appears sometimes for other downloads, and it doesn't seem to be a problem on the Windows Update page.

Please can you help. Thank you.

No, I'm not not first uninstall IE8 (or IE7) before proceeding with the repair facility...

Long history, technical, short version: do not uninstall IE8 (and/or IE7) before doing a repair installation (Windows XP only!) leaves the two Internet Explorer and Windows in a State of "confused" or "broken". Your only recourse now is a clean install of Windows (after backup your personal data).

No, another repair facility won't solve the problem - even if you uninstall IE8 beforehand.

Follow the instructions in this post of mine in another forum (to-the-letter & in order! ) to restore your computer to a State safe & functional: http://aumha.net/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=44636

If you need additional assistance with the clean install, please start a new thread in this forum: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_xp-system

Note: The computer must NOT be connected to the internet or local networks (i.e. other computers) in its current state. All your personal data (e.g., banking online & passwords credit card) must be considered at risk, if not already compromised.

Wish I had better news for you.  Good luck!

PS: So that registry cleaners can solve some problems (temporarily, at least), they are not & cannot fix what caused the problem. Compare to treat a broken leg with a stick and a couple of BandAids.

I tried several times and has continued to get the same sequence, so I said finally allow to do anything be installed from Microsoft.  Now if I try to go to Windows Update I got the same message appears on the installation of an ActiveX control, but do not receive the request to install it and IE 8 seems to hang or stand the memory error message.

    How to do this?

Method 1 - has not found anything to fix

    Method 2 - stage 1 - did not help

Method 2 - step 2 - could not find the validation ActiveX control

Method 3 - does not - problem was with validation

I also tried Mode safe mode with networking.  The control seems to settle and the website says: I have been validated.  However, if I tried to do anything whatsoever (Express, Custom, updates of the list, etc.) he says that the web page has encountered an error.

I rebooted and tried again.  Yet once, I invited myself to install the ActiveX control.  I left the guest sitting there and a little while IE later throw the same memory access error.  It was not the installation of the control which was not - it is an asynchronous with process.

Then I disabled all add-ins closed IE and has been able to use Windows Update.

    Add-ins that I disabled were:

    Name search
    Publisher Microsoft Corporation
    Status disabled
    File date Thursday, April 19, 2007, 14:10
    Version 11.0.8164.0

    Editor not available
    Status disabled

    Name to diagnose connection problems...

    Discuss name
    Editor not available

    Version 6.0.2900.5921

It is a relatively clean system because it's just to run legacy applications.  I don't remember installing add-ins that do not specify an editor.

In any case by disabling all the cured the problem.

    Edit:

I've activated all EHF supplements I had disabled and closed IE.  I was always able to access Windows Update.

  • Windows Update search updates with no results or returns the 8007000e error code. Windows Update Troubleshooter tried unsuccessfully

Just installed Win7 Sp1 on Inspiron 1525 after you mount the new HARD drive. Works very well. However, Windows Update search updates with no results or returns the 8007000e error code. Tried troubleshooting of Windows Update without success. Indeed, I am unable to update Windows.

Please run the Windows Update Troubleshooter:

Please provide the exact details of any problem it reports as not fixed.

  • Have no Microsoft Office installed, but Windows update keeps trying to install an "important security fix" for Office KB951944

I recently bought a Dell Inspiron 1545 with Windows Vista Edition Home Premium 64bits. A trial version of office 2007 has been pre-installed, but I removed it. Because something was wrong with deleting automatically I followed the instructions of a Microsoft Office site to manually remove. Although I followed all the steps, I still think that Windows Update sniffs a bit of the program, cause he mind keeps me with the security patch. Anyone an idea how to get rid of it?

    Thank you!

You can 'hide' any updates, but be aware that doing this cannot 'hide' all the new Office updates.

How to hide updates in Vista: click on view available updates (or Select the updates installed). Right-click on the update you want to hide. Click hide update | Confirm the UAC (User Account Control) prompt, as appropriate.

To restore/show updates for Vista: Start | Control Panel | System maintenance and (if you use Classic view, skip this step) | Windows Update | Restore hidden updates: Find and select the update you want to install | Restoration of. You can now select once again it and install through the normal process.

TIP: to avoid the downloading/installation, updates that you do not want to configure the automatic updates option second or third parameter in the Edit settings window. See picture here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/windowsupdate/learn/windowsvista.mspx
