Issues installing security updates through Windows Update before today have never known. I am prompted to install the update from a security XP KB956744, what I have done. I installed it through Windows Update and automatic command prompt directly. I even posted the update as something to ignore, but I am always prompted to install it. I also tried to uninstall the version on my machine, and then reinstall the update, but I am always prompted to install it.

  Two questions:
  1. because I received a prompt saying that it has been successfully installed and it appears in Add/Remove Programs, I can safely assume that it has been installed successfully even if I continue to prompt to install it?
  2. If my previous question is true, how can I window update to ignore this update even if I have already reported as such by the normal means?

  Go to add or remove programs and look for the KB956744-security update and remove it.

  Restart the computer and boot into safe mode by pressing F8 during the restart, and then press and selecxt safe mode.

  If the installation program itself fails to open and run. Download it again maybe your current download is corrupted. Also, what OS you are using and you are an administrator with permission to install.

  I contacted Adobe support. I can only downgrade 1 version back. for example DC back to XI. cannot go back to V10. Third party software does not yet support DC. They argue that the worm 8 and 9. But my test shows 10 worm works as well
