Windows updates broke printing tcp/ip (Windows XP)

After having installed XP 16 separate security updates 11 Oct, TCP/IP printing has stopped working. A "Test Page Print" prints and sends data to the printer (2 different printers installed all both have the same number), but then the print job stops and after a timeout there is an error of ball "this document failed to print" message  ~62K/62K sent to the print queue. A small part of the beginning of the document is left in the buffer of printing. Very small documents consisting only of a few words will print completely, but not normal printing. When printing large print jobs, only the first 64 K should be sent to the print queue.
The author of the XPS document works very well.
There is plenty of space on the hard disk > 120 GB free, and the file system is clean.

Tried the following remedies:
-Reinstall printer drivers - no difference, two printers are located during the driver installation, but fail in the same way
-KB324757 followed by the printer driver won't reinstall - no difference
-Disabled windows firewall (no firewall present AV) - no difference
-Reinstalled NIC - no difference driver
-Reset the stack TCP/IP - no difference
-Added 3 new test printer, printing TCP/IP by WiFi - fails to find the printer on the network.

  • After Windows update - drops Printer Spooler - Tacker system VISTA

    This same problem happened to me in the summer 2010 - around July.  It's still - righ after a windows update.

    Things I've tried-

    1) goes into services and restart the print spooler.  It will restart - but remains in place.

    2) enter c:\windows\system32\spool\printers. and deletion of files.

    (3) remove and reinstall the printer involved.

    (4) has) go to programs and features in Control Panel > on features Windows turn on or off

    (b) click + sign printing services

    (c) select LPD and LPR. You must remove the Internet printing Client. > restart your PC to ensure there is no error in the spooler service.

    I am running VISTA for an operating system.  I also run the function of remote server in Accessories fairly.

    I suggest you remove all installed printers and reinstall Windows Vista printer drivers if they are available.
        
    Remove a printer
    1. click on the "Start" button, type PRINTERS in the start search box and press ENTER.
    2 find the printers installed icons, then delete them.

    I have a problem with my Windows 7 clients in the field. We have 2012 print server and multiple printers installed on it. I installed a new printer Canon IR with a new Canon's Web page driver.     My hp2605 printer stopped printing. I deleted the printer and then tried to add it. Control Panel of configuration/Printers and devices/add printer process shows that the printer is visible on the network, but the next page that will detect the tcp/ip port does not.

    In the Menu start, open the all programs, open HP and launch the application updated HP - you should see a settings button in the lower part, click on this button and change the frequency of checking of updates (select never you want to manually check), then click on apply to save the setting.

    On 5 October, I installed two optional Windows updates:

    1 - display - nVidia NVIDIA GeForce 6600GT

    nVidia Display software update released in July 2010

    2 Samsung - display - SyncMaster 2494SW (digital)

    Updated software Samsung screen released in August 2009

    After installation and reboot, my screen resolution is now set to 1280 x 1024 (max resolution) and the monitor is not recognized in front of a default monitor. -http://www.verityhw.com/uploader/files/1/display_settings.png

    I tried to install the latest nVidia on their site (258.96) drivers, and they say that they installed, but on reboot, there is no change.

  • Windows 10 anniversary update broke my Acer Switch SW5-12 10

    I type on my laptop big because I can't get my convertible tablet, touchpad or a touchscreen to work. Not even a usb mouse moves without severe lag, as in 20 times on the mouse pad move your thumb on the screen. I downloaded and flashed all updates to the bios, calibrated the screen, restarted about 10 times (because it took about 6 times after previous Windows update for my touch screen works), and nothing has changed. Acer care center said that all my drivers are up to date. Given that a click on the screen shows several little circles in a vertical row and open 2 or 3 different windows for aps I never clicked on, it takes hours to do something that should have taken minutes. So no, Acer, drivers are not updated.

    I've seen the Acer note on another model, saw that they were working on touchpad problems. I hope they're working on a fix for this model, but it needs the touchscreen fixed as well. If someone figured out how to solve this problem, please help. I don't want to take my laptop grand on a different level.

    First, the last update (-4798) sets out a number of things, including a mouse jerky on my W3.

    Secondly, they are the trackballs computer USB Pocket that can work very well.
