• Lenovo Veriface recognition software problem

  VeriFace is not supported / not functional on Windows 10, for compatibility reasons.

  The official recommendation is to first uninstall it before upgrading to Windows 10.

  Hi all, I am running windows 8, and whenever I try to open a session with veriface it came with this "Unable to open due to an unknown error. So I've not unhooked it, anyone know where I can find the installer for Veriface for Windows 8.

  Found the Solution!
  All lock your PC using Win + L and in the lockscreen F10 press to call the veriface app then it asks your password (game a case isn't already) and then it scans your face.

• Lenovo VeriFace for y410p

  I have a Lenovo Y410p. I erased the drive and I lost Lenovo VeriFace. I did a clean Windows 8.1 and redownloaded Lenovo Veriface installk. Unfortuantely VeriFace doesn't work anymore. It does not install and when I try to run it, it says it can operate only on the material of Lenovo. Can you please help?

  I uninstalled Veriface but cannot get rid of the initial window that wants to connect. Can I close the window, but it's annoying to have to do whenever I want to use my computer.

  Re-install the software and try uninstalling again.

• Some features of Windows are not available.

  I have an IdeaPad p580 and I noticed that a few basic functionality of windows are not available. I use Windows 7 Home premium SP1 and everything else is usually straight out of the box. I guess these are the basic features of windows because I learn about them in an intro to the class of Windows operating system.

  When I try to use secpol.msc in the start menu, windows cannot find it, and also when I try to encrypt a file or a file this option is grayed out. I think Veriface is the encrypt function creep, or another software that is preinstalled is to play with things.

• "looking for credential tiles" - unsuccessful removal of Veriface and ReadyComm - HELP :(

  I did some research and tried and called and did everything, but can't seem to get my Lenovo to play nice.

  I bought this computer only a month or two before and have placed since my materials of the entire work here so a total rebuild of the system's very unnatractive.

  My main problem is, when I put up Outlook 2010 (expensive full version) with my exchange account that is hosted by Go Daddy (who were very patient with me and all my calls - it was also the expensive full version and all settings have been checked several times so it isn't a fault it), if I config it automatically or manually , the "Windows - Microsoft Outlook security - connection to [name]@[domain].com - looking for credential tiles]" pop box and will not die.

  I have read the forums and I saw that people had success uninstall (or the less disabling) ReadyComm (which was very difficult to find, but I did) and VeriFace I went and made through Control Panel.

  I restarted my computer and VeriFace has obviously not been eliminated, and the message of credential tiles was always there.

  I started my computer in safe mode, fact the msconfig and c:\programdata steps, actually purchased a software that promised to help me remove programs during good behaviour and all nothing is helping.

  I'm at the point now where I just want out of here, all programs from Lenovo (even if I'm afraid of the stuffing something upward) and all the downtime of not being able to use Outlook correctly (and trying to uninstall everything) drives me crazy.

  It seems that your research is correct: VeriFace interferes with the authentication system.

  Have you tried to reinstall VeriFace from the site, so that you can do a complete uninstall of it? If this does not work, could you post the errors that occur in your event viewer? There could be an indication as to where the authentication will fail.

  Welcome to the community of Lenovo.

  Iin this article, he stated that the Veriface software may not work when upgrading to Windows 8. After further verification, this PDF data sheet, Lenovo Veriface was not on the software pre-installed on Lenovo S400.

  So far, Lenovo Veriface is only compatible with Windows 7.

  "Select start-> all programs-> Lenovo veriface recognition-> Veriface recognition.
  Select the tab "Setting."
  Select 'change '.
  Uncheck the box that says "Face recognition using at the time of the connection"

  I bought my wife a renovated factory ideapad U350. I helped activate Veriface but she doesn't like it then I

  uninstalled. I thought by uninstalling Veriface she would not have to log on to the laptop but on reboot
