  This can also occur if the audio drivers on the computer have been corrupted.

  The ID3 header is a part of the file that stores the album information of the song (for example, the song name, artist name, album name and kind). This information is sometimes called tag. After you remove the headers ID3, Windows Media Player should be able to play MP3 files.

  It is very possible that your CD may be damaged.  Is it possible to get another copy to try on your machine? Or try this copy on another machine to see if it works or not.
  Also check in control panel--> system--> for you Device Manager make sure that there is no yellow/red icon next to the CD player and it's function correctly.

  Messages are stored as eml files.  Is there no eml files, then there is no message.  Check in the windows.old directory if there is one, because it may contain old data.  The location of the message in Vista store is c:\users\[username]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows mail, so you might check there.

  Your bios date 17/02/2009 is too old for a marker windows 7.
  I suspect that you tried to move the license OEM windows 7 on another computer. An OEM license is not transferable.
  You can buy a new copy of windows 7.
